   So glad to be able to enjoy the authentic tempura omakase in Toronto which tasted just like in Japan! Food ingredients are fresh, and the batter were so thin yet crispy. Love this place!! Already booked my next visit.

   Omakase is not that common in Toronto, but most of them focus on sushi. This is where Edomae Kiyomi differentiates. They offer an omakase meal built around their exquisite tempura dishes! The exterior and interior of the restaurant is understated, and it helps accentuate the food and its preparation. We had the tempura meals and they were exquisite and outstanding. The two chefs were courteous and informative. The creations were unique and extraordinary. It is an experience well worth your time.

    I think it is one of the best in Toronto in terms of tempura omakase, although it still cannot compared to the top class tempura restaurants in Japan. The course is not expensive and service is good! Appreciate the owner brings this experience all the way to toronto. Next time I will try the sushi omakase.

    Was a great intimate experience. Chef was attentive and friendly. Interior reminds me of Yasu (light and bright). We had the tempura omakase, was good but would’ve like the batter to be more fluffy and lighter. The uni was excellent. Would go back but infrequent.
