The menu at Eighteen 27 is meant to be social, with locally inspired shareplates in selections that are nearly endless. Sharing your dishes allows for a pleasant dining experience and a chance to try new things you might not order yourself. This restaurant also offers a full bar so you can enjoy a specialty drink while you dine.
6 person group was handled extremely smoothly. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The live piano in the background added to the ambience
Great food, great live music! Was a little cold, otherwise all good.
The menu says shareable plates, however this is not true. We ordered the scallops and received three on the plate. We then ordered the Charred Arctic and it was a small dish which we are used to in more high end restaurants as the flavour should make the dish. Well there was very little flavour to the dish. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant itself has an inviting setting ,comfy chairs and not too bad of martini but the food was greatly lacking in taste very very bland .
It seems like they are trying to create a more upscale place but have a long way to go . They first may start by not serving dried out jalapeno cornbread that seemed was microwaved to warm .
The Braised Lamb Arancini with
caramelized onions, tomato, mint yogurt was terrible ! They were over cooked Deep fried balls that were extremely dry and hard .
Not sure where the onions and tomato were supposed to be but there was a drop of sauce on top .
The Scallops and Tuna absolutely tasteless .....
What a waste of money .....
The call themselves " home of high end social dining "
Slapping some food on a plate giving it a fancy name does not make it " high end "
Very far from " high end
We got the bill and went across the street to and had some wonderful food there .
Food was pretty good but not outstanding. Scallops were very small! The duck was good but could have used more flavour. We were told by an entertainment site that there would be a musician performing that night and there wasn’t and the staff didn’t seem to know anything about it. Waitstaff was pleasant.
Love the piano player and the rest of the staff. Will be back
menu changed which broke my heart but the triple cooked fries made it all better
Had a couple of glasses of a delicious red wine, a bruschetta, and we had the ribeye and a pork tenderloin dish. There was a cool sounding musician there this evening which was much better than the piano player that we have heard in the past.
Had an amazing meal with family and friends ! Our server Katie was outstanding. Will be back forsure !
Weekend piano makes this place that much more special, Kurt is the best.
Lovely! Food was good and service was just okay, as there was only 2 servers on the night. Love the vibe jn general and would love to go back!
My family and I went to celebrate a special ocassion and were really glad we chose eighteen27! Fort Langley is a halfway point for us to meet up. This is the second time we've chosen this restaurant for a special occasion and have been very pleased both times. The variety of choices on the menu and drinks/wine list is super. Service has been good both times. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fun, too.
When our reservation at another restaurant was cancelled at 2:00 pm due to a power outage, we scrambled to find another restaurant that could take a group of 7 at 5:00 pm. My daughter suggested Eighteen27 as most of us live in Langley and it was a hit with everyone. Really enjoyed the food and live music.
We got there and they weren’t open.
Music was outstanding the piano, harmonica, great voice. I’d go here purely for the live music on weekends.
I have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints! Their menu changes seasonally too, so there is often something new to try.
We had a pleasant anniversary dinner at Eighteen27. Just wonder what happened on that date...forgot to ask servers. Good piano guy. Thanks.
Been several times, never had a bad meal or experience. Live music is great and not too loud, just right.
Will be back.
The restaurant is more like a Tapas bar which we found very good as we are from Europe. The food was very good, could be a little more to choose from though.
Live music made the evening perfect. Servers where excellent.
First time here. Primarily a Tapas restaurant, although some dishes could be for one.
A well balanced menu and fair wine list. Service was exceptional, with accurate descriptions of the food.
The food itself was very good, well presented and all perfectly cooked, from delicate scallops to a perfect duck breast and amazing deserts.
Will definitely recommend and will return. Looking forward to a Fri/Sat evening with live Piano.
Great spot. Drinks are excellent. Food pricey and alright. Great date spot. Will go again for sure
We’ve always enjoyed 1827, and it remains a favorite though we did prefer the original tapas and martinis menus...
Still, the items we had were delicious.
I had a really enjoyable time. Great music and loved the food
Food was great. Staff very friendly. A bit too loud
The only negative would be that when I booked my reservation online that I asked to be near the music/entertainment. We could have been further away. Very disappointing.
Otherwise food was great. Service was great.
Had a great dinner - food was good, and love that they have a pianist. Great service, would definitely go back
We had a very nice dinner. I would have liked the pianist to start a little earlier because we left after his first song and I do like his talent. Had we arrived later for our dinner we may have been able to enjoy that more.
The live music was good but really loud. Food was good and prices reasonable.
Went with 3 colleagues for an early dinner. Offered a choice of where to sit. Very pleasant servers, helpful with the menu. Food was delicious, skirt steak was a knock out. We tried 7 dishes all together, tapas style, so we each got to try everything. Highly recommend.
