   We love dining here but this time it was poor experience due to our server ginger. She was rude, unenthusiastic, no smile, messed up our check, never came to ask once if everything was ok… We went to celebrate my parents anniversary. I had mentioned in the booking but no acknowledgment of their special day.

   Really disappointed in the food! The queso fundido we had was greasy and not very good. We then shared a burrito that was mushy and also greasy. The best part of our meal was the tequila shots we had but they were very expensive! We won’t return to this place. There has to be better Mexican food than this in Vegas!

   Their food saved the day, I booked a reservation for Mother's Day and had three Mother's in my Party. Once seated we ordered table side guacamole which arrived two minutes before our meal even though we were looking forward to eating it as an appetizer. Next our server was hoping around her other tables with a jovial attitude and attentiveness but once she reached our table her attitude turned flat and indifferent, I had to get up twice to get her attention because everytime she came into the dining area she dropped by each of her tables except ours. To make matters worse a member of the leadership team was walking the floor askimg everyone how their meal was and were they enjoying themselves but when he approached our table he turned his head in the opposite direction and scurried by as fast as his feet would carry him. It was clearly deliberate. As written in my opening statement, Eldorado Cantina's food saved the day, if they could get their service quality even halfway to their food quality it would be our favorite restaurant, as it stands we will stick with Viva Mercados the next time we want good Mexican food.

   Used to be good. Last night on Mother’s Day it was so gross! Food was cold, overcooked steak, rice was mush. Don’t waste your time and go here anymore! Much better places in Vegas then here.

    We made a last minute reservation here for a party of 8 on Mother’s Day. It was nice to be able to find something decent so last minute. The server was great and we enjoyed the food, but there were little things that made the experience less than perfect. For one, it was hotter than heck in the restaurant! We asked if they could either open the windows or turn on some air, but throughout our over 2 hour experience neither happened. I had to make a fan in order to survive the meal. Lol It took a while to receive our food, but the company was nice and the chips/drinks were flowing, so we were okay. The overall restaurant needs some TLC (fake floral needs to be dusted better, bathrooms need some fixing with broken toilet paper rolls and a cricket making noise). This place has a lot of potential, but it missed the mark in some areas. I’d never come back in summer if it stays that hot in the restaurant regularly!

    Beautiful Dia De Los Muertos ambiance and moderately busy. I’m glad they took reservations for the Mother’s Day since everyone seemed to be out in large parties. The service was decent and the food was prepared well. I love that there was a lot of seafood on the menu and options for all kinds of eaters since our party of 6 was well accommodated across the board. I would definitely recommend this place.

    We have been visiting this restaurant for a few years now, primarily for the Shrimp Enchiladas, Margaritas and table side guacamole. Our last two dining experiences have been less than stellar. The shrimp enchiladas were too spicy, the table side guacamole was terribly bland and the margaritas were entirely too strong. I do hope they go back to the previous recipe for the Shrimp Enchiladas, because it was once really good but the spice level now is crazy. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends and even those visiting the city and looking for recommendations, but I can’t see myself do so at the moment.

    The restaurant was really nice. We had reservations but it look a long time to get seated. Didn’t seem busy. The food was really good. Although our server was really nice and kind it took forever to be greeted and get our drinks ordered. Took even longer for the food. Our server was less than attentive also. Didn’t check back on our table. Although is was a nice place we expected more out of the service. Restaurant and food a plus. Service unsatisfactory. Ps..the women’s bathroom had a dirty stall. My daughter even told the server. It was never taken care of.

    Our group enjoyed the ambiance at eating on the patio. It was a dinner meeting so the patio seemed quieter than the main dining area. The food was really good but I won’t ordered the portobello fajitas again. It was unnecessary to use so much vegetable oil. It was covered in oil like shellac, a little goes a long way just to cook onions, bell peppers and mushrooms! The others enjoyed their meal of mahi mahi and street tacos, street corn, seared tuna and churros for dessert. The service was helpful and attentive.

    Food mostly very good and attractively plated. Dips had complaints of an off taste. Server friendly and likeable but forgetful. Sent back multiple times for something he overlooked. We had to wait a long time after finishing our meals for server to return with 1 check (after being asked for separate checks). Then had to wait over 10 minutes for our checks and go to front to pay.

    There was problems in the kitchen that caused very long delays with food delivery. We have been here many times and felt the food didn’t meet the usual standards for the higher prices they charge. The waitress didn’t address the time delays until we had to ask twice about our food. After our food was delivered the waitress worked to make up for the problems.

    Food and drinks were amazing, but what was the highlight of the night was the service provided by Addison, our waitress. She was amazing. She made our night enjoyable, I was highly impressed by her customer service. I will definitely return because of her hospitality

    My wife, our 18 month old, 9 week old, and myself decided to go out to dinner tonight. El Dorado is a place we’ve frequented for years and have always been a fan, but not after tonight. We arrived at 5:30 for our reservation and checked in promptly. About 15 minutes later the hostess asked if a booth is easier with the toddler and car seat, which it would be. Another 15 minutes passed and we still weren’t seated, and we were the only ones waiting. A group of four walks in and talks to the hostess and within 2 minutes of waiting is seated at a booth, walked in by the manager. That’s the booth we’ve now been waiting 30+ minutes for. I asked why they were seated before us, and was told they were friends of the owner. Not sure why four friends would be prioritized over loyal customers who are waiting with their kids to have a nice dinner out, which we don’t often have the time to do. The hostess apologized and asked if a table would do, which I agreed. When being sat it was a tight walking area which wasn’t going to work with the high chair and car seat on a chair. I told the waitress we were leaving, that it wasn’t going to work and apologized for having her set up the table. She told us to wait and after a few minutes came back and sat us in a half booth/table in the back room. The manager came over (same one who sat the friends down first) and asked if that table would work. I politely told him we’ve been waiting 40 minutes past our reservation to be seated and he seemed surprised. I told him we were waiting for a booth and pointed to where he just sat the party of four and told him how he just sat them down after waiting 2 minutes, taking the table from my family. All I got was an “I understand”. The waitress in the back was fantastic and took care of us throughout the duration of our meal. I’m not one to complain but I found it unacceptable to have a reservation, and be stepped over for a table because we don’t know the same people. Do better, much better.

    Our server only came around 2x. We kept having to request service. Meals came wrong and we didn’t get part of our meal. Would not recommend. Patron flights were ok. Creamsicle taste horrible compared to the location by the strip — it was NOT sweet at all.

    My wife made a reservation over a Month ago for Cinco de Mayo. It's one of her favorite restaurants. We had a reservation at 6:30 pm and checked in. At 7pm after checking in, I followed up with our reservation and the hostess looked confused as if they overbooked us and said we are at the top of the list at that point. After seeing others seated that arrived after us, I then went back at 7:15 to follow up once again. She told me to hold on, then took us across the way upstairs to a dirty table and then after 45min waiting after our reservation we decided to leave. Very disappointed!

    Worst dining experience ever. Arrived on time for 6pm reservationthat I had made 2 weeks before. Took 10 minutes for three hostesses to deal with one party in line in front of us. We were then told, as if we should expect it, that "there were three parties in front of us." When I questioned what that meant I got the same answer. When I asked more specifically what that meant for wait time the answer was "at least 20 minutes." 25 minutes later we were shown an outside table on a cold and windy night. We asked about and inside table and were told it would be "at least an hour wait." We asked about space heaters - the hostess said she would check and disappeared. Flagged down a busser and asked for a space heater - he said he would check and disappeared. Music from a stage nearby was so loud we had to yeall at each other. After another 20 minutes during which we asked again about a space heater no waiter had even acknowledged we were there. We've had enough by then and leave. I go to the hostess stand to inform them and it takes all three hostesses several minutes to even acknowledge I'm there. I explain we're leaving and why and all that seems to matter to them is which table we were vacating - no inquiry about why or even a thought of an apology. I ask for the manager and tell him about the horrible experience and he seems no more concernec than the rest of his staff, giving me an obligatory "sorry" as if he was glad we were leaving and there was one less party they had to serve that night. We will never go back and will spread the word to all our friends who we had previously raved to about El Dorado Cantina.

    The food is great but service has declined since it opened. We ordered drinks and got them when we were about to leave! We tried to cancel but couldn’t. They were worse on a holiday! Service is everything. The food might bring me back but the lack of good service would make me think twice about returning.

    Our Waiter was excellent Ceasar he was just overwhelmed too many tables. We could have used more water at the table but other than that it was very nice we were not rushed and they brought a dessert for my best friends birthday. I did not know they charged for chips and salsa $3.50 I was surprised by that . We ordered the table side guac. and I had the 3 tacos and my friend had the enchiladas with cheese and mole sauce, she thought that the Mole was very good . We also had a margarita each . Bill was $97.00 that was lunch.

    I love El Dorado Cantina just not this location. I keep going back since it is conveniently located near me but the service is the worst. All times but once that I’ve been there it never fails that the waiters are slacking and it takes from the whole dining experience. My friend is vegan, ordered a vegan dish and it came out with sour cream and cheese! I give up with this location I’ll take the drive to the strip.

    The food was excellent. The price to the size portions was not the greatest, but the quality of food more than compensated for this short fall. The service was awful. We could not get drink refills, and anything we asked seemed to fall on deaf ears. Al when our drinks did get refilled, the waiter missed my glass and poured water down my legs.

    Food was fantastic! We knew we were paying a bit more for delicious food and we were ok with that- however, we were surprised that we were charged $2 a piece for ice when we ordered our vodka on the rocks! We are all for great food and ambience but charging for ice is a new one! Be aware.
