Restaurant is beautiful with an absolute gorgeous view. The food was okay. Nothing special. I ordered red snapper it was very light and fluffy but no real taste. My husband had filet and shrimp it was pretty good. All in all I might come back but just for view.
Beautiful ambience, amazing food, top notch service. A once in a lifetime experience, but definitely will be back!
A party boat came into the bay and was very noisy.
This was the worst dinner we have ever had in cabo in the last 30 years. It was a joke. Both of us had the runs the next morning. It was nearly $ 400 . Save yourself and don’t go
Everyone should eat here at least once. The views and uniqueness of being built into the cliffs are amazing.
What an incredible dining experience!
As with everything at the Waldorf Astoria, thus was an excellent experience!
The location is incredible, great view of the sunset and the ocean. The food is okay, not amazing. We went their for the ambience and we were delivered an amazing experience.
The food is fantastic. The setting is beautiful. The photos really don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. This was our favorite meal in Cabo.
El Farallon was more than we expected. The views, the clientele, the wait staff - you name it, it was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are in Cabo San Lucas this is a MUST VISIT RESTAURANT. I thought Mona Lisa was spectacular, and it is. However, El Farallon is in a class of its own.
Best place we’ve ever been. Completely unreal experience but super expensive. It put Sunset Mona Lisa to shame
Everything was just perfect. Plates were generous, service was amazing and scenery was to dream about. Alcool is quite expensive but food is way more than reasonable. My boyfriend is allergic to seafood and they arrange a special menu for him that was as delicious as mine.
Awesome ambience and view. Great customer from entry to exit. Would definitely do it again for a sunset experience.
Amazing spot , amazing food, service recommendations always great. Top cocktails. Great experience !
The best view but mediocre food and not great service.
The view is breathtaking. I would love to go there and sit on the viewing chairs and drink all night. The food was not good by normal standards, but especially not good at the price charged. Most dishes lacking salt. Waldorf salad type was meh. "Tortilla soup" was a bland tomato soup essentially. One fish entree cooked to much. Other was flavorless, but fish was impeccable. I left thinking "This is simply poorly made hotel food at astronomical prices." However, management did remove the items from our bill that were not enjoyed, which was not requested or expected but due to our personal feedback and their attention to try and correct. I would return only for the view.
View was amazing even though it was dark. Loved seeing and hearing the waves crashing on the rocks while we were eating. The property is stunning, the food was wonderful, especially the bluefin tuna and the desserts.
Amazing place. Absolutely amazing seafood that is certainly fresh. Carlos, our server, was great.
We will be visiting again.
Disappointed with the food. Taste and presentation. Lacking.
Really nice place, I was expecting the food to be outstanding but it was good but nothing that would make me want to go back for the food.
Extremely expensive, inedible food. Waiter charged us $345 for a bottle of wine we did not request, drink, or even look at. We picked and drank a $150 bottle. He claims a sommelier came and recommended the expensive bottle. We knew the wine we wanted and didn’t even know there was a somm on property. Extremely horrible meal but an absolutely ridiculous ending to our night. We also waited two hours between waiting in the drink area and getting our food. Never once complained, but while I’m being honest I thought I’d mention it. I expected way more from WA. We even debated staying there instead of the Montage and we are SO thankful we’re not spending eight nights there. Cabo has so many good restaurants. The McDonalds downtown would be better than El Farallon. I’d however recommend Arbol, NOBU or Mezcal at the Montage.
The ambience is incredible but the food did not meet our expectations. After having gone to other wonderful restaurants like Acre and Manta, this was a big disappointment. We enjoyed the breathtaking view and welcoming champagne bar, but could have skipped the mediocre meal. I recommend that the chef re-examine the menu and create a more contemporary experience for guests. The servers appeared disinterested as if they were just going through the motions. There was no connection whatsoever nor attempt to make it a personal experience. And the churros birthday dessert is a joke. We were advised by a friend in the restaurant biz that we should skip El Farallon, and, moving forward, we certainly will.
The dining experience at El Farallon is world class — I would recommend it to all my friends who would like to enjoy a blissful night along the ocean cliffs, with serene views of the stars at night. The sound of the waves crashing into the rocks adds to the romantic ambiance of the place. I suggest the jumbo shrimp, steak, and lobster, these options were cooked to perfection. The dining experience also comes with three additional courses, so be sure to come with a healthy appetite.
We put El Farallon at the top of our list when we come every year. One of the best restaurants we’ve experienced in all our worldly travels. Thank you so much. 🧡
Outstanding service. The food was amazing. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they did a magnificent job.
First time. Absolutely outstanding food and drink. Couldn’t ask for a better location
I was very excited to introduce my friends to this very special restaurant last night. We arrived and were escorted to our table. The service was very spotty and inconsistent. The appetizers were very mediocre at best. We ordered steak, prawns, lobster and small portions of each of the sides.
After an extensive wait the food arrived. There was no steak at all. The lobster was poorly cooked and the sides were awful. Needless to say, I was completely embarrassed after talking this restaurant up. Paying $372 dollars for a very average dinner is infuriating. Needless to say, I won’t be back!
Visiting Cabo for our BabyMoon and we Took a 45 minute cab ride. The place is gorgeous. We loved the experience. The food was delicious! Menu changes daily. The ramen soup wasn’t a favorite, but the Octopus tacos, Lobster tail, Asparagus, and Baked potato were all worth the drive! It’s a must if you are in Cabo. The Waldorf is stunning!
Amazing natural architecture and design. Attentive Staff. Delicious Food
Best place in Cabo, we enjoyed a lot...
Everything was perfect
Best night in Cabo… stunning views, wonderful service and fabulous food! Bueno!!!
Amazing experience and great service, truly a beautiful place
Beautiful setting and fantastic service. Plan on at least a 3 hour experience.
A very beautiful and relaxing experience. I would next time be sure to do the wine pairing as well.
So much potential it has with a great location. Great spot to eat with scenary perfect. Bit disappointed with the food. Had way better food in other spots in Cabo. Need more of authentic mexican food with maybe some entertaining bartenders with skills light up the mood or waiters to light up food with fire. Some entertainment is missing to capture the attention. Look up toca madera in Scottsdale az for ideas
Celebrated one year anniversary at El Farallón. Absolutely a romantic and intimate setting! Dining on a cliff in open air and fresh seafood with great service! It is expensive but worth it!
Amazing place and extremely romantic
