Food was good, but the kitchen ran out of most of it's supply. So we didn't get alot to choose from when we wanted to order. The cocktail menu isn't that great either. Not sure if I'll be back.

Love El Guapo. The food has never failed me. Service is always disinterested but when the bill comes they are always your best friend. Best burgers in town in my opinion.

They gave us the worst ubicación at the place, a hidden table, we ask so many time the host to move is to another tables that were empty, she always told us an excuse in a bad mood, the server try to charge us with drinks we didn’t order! Not a nice experience

Wow!!! What a great Cinco de Mayo celebration! I love this place any day of the week, but tonight blew me away. They know how to have a great time while providing amazing hospitality. Food was out of this world as always and drinks were next level. Thank you el Guapo staff for making our day! I’ll be back every chance I get!

Service was very slow. Ordered nachos, which took over a half hour to get. Host came to the table shortly after we received our food to remind us a 30 min warning before we had to give up our table. We couldn't wait to pay the bill, and leave.

We Chose El Guapo after a recommendation from friends. We had an amazing time! The food was delicious (Baja Fish Tacos, taco salad, chorizo shrimp and rice). The cocktails were exceptional and our service (Bianca) was next level. We will absolutely be heading back soon!

We wanted to take advantage of a happy hour and food prior to a hockey game. We hadn't tried here before but became aware after reading about upcoming promotions in May. We made a reservation for 4:30 and arrived a little prior. We were quickly seated and our drink orders were taken. The atmosphere was kind of blue collar and there was no vibe of anything but laid back and fun. The nachos were the best we have had with the cheese sauce that was on them. The same with our burgers, cooked to perfection and very tasty. As the time progressed the place became increasingly busy, but the servers never lost us in the crowd and checked at regular intervals to see how we were doing. We interacted with several of the staff and it was all the same, friendly and genuinely appeared to enjoy helping us to a positive experience all the way around. Most definately will be back soon. If you want are looking for great service, food and a fun place to hang out, don't go any further than here.

We liked the ambience and the music at El Guapo. The service was so so. We ordered tacos. I personally liked the sweet potato tacos. Overall it is a fun place to hangout with your group.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Vancouver. Food was fresh, tasty and portions were decent too. Great overall vibe, perfect for evenings after work. Customer service was good too.

Food was great, ambiance was great but our server was HORRIBLE. I don't think she cracked a smile once. Didn't provide any suggestions or alternatives to what we were looking for. Very very disappointed with her.

We had been here a few years ago and it seems to have changed. It is perhaps the worst Mexican food we’ve had. Very disappointing. There’s a lot better available in Vancouver. The location and service was very good.

The waitress was not very friendly. I accidentally ordered a dish called carnitas which had pork and I wasn’t familiar with the name of the dish. I brought it up to the waitress and she said “you did order the Carnitas so of course it has pork” we never touched the dish and still had to pay for it. The waitress also was taking shots on the job in which I thought it was highly inappropriate.

Great food, the Guapo Burger is a real winner :). Guacamole with feta and crispy carrots is an excellent variation of the general gua theme. The tacos are just great and very tasty. Service is fantastic and fast. It's a bit noisy if you are looking for a quiet dinner (I still miss the Hamilton Grill.....)

Host was awesome. My friend’s phone died so she couldn’t immediately show her ID, but he host let her charge her phone and got her back in business in no time. Whole experience was great. We were treated like royalty in there. The food was great and was served quickly.

Love the vibe. Staff is warm and accommodating. Drinks are delish. Best DJ. We love this place. So very fun. Change nothing!! :) :) :)
