    This was a very bad experience. We were able to book via the open table app however upon arrival we learned that the establish is closed on Tuesdays... Our party had to scramble and walk in the rain to find another suitable location with availability. Very unimpressed

    Made a reservation foe Friday because i had a show to get to and knew i couldnt wait in line only to show up and have the place be closed. No notice, no email or call to let me know. Nothing. Very disappointed with the restaurant and also open table for not notifying me. Will not be coming back or using this reservation system again!

    It is so unprofessional on part of EL Loco Restaurant that my whole office team reached there at 12 noon and we saw restaurant "CLOSED" board. We were to search for alternative restaurant standing in the middle of the road. I would never go El Loco again.

    I made a reservation on the open table app and drove from Ancaster, which is an hour away. When I arrived at the restaurant it was closed. The reservation was for 6:45pm on December 31, 2018

    Food is not authentic Mexican Sit at the bar for 25 minutes and not even offered a drink when restaurant was at 10% full Host said there was delayed service because they were expecting big party and in 3 hours nobody showed up and restaurant less than 1/4 full. Very slow Bad service at bar and hostess is very rude Waiter was good trying to make things good but he could not make kitchen be faster Only thing here is decoration and music (not live even) Not recommended at all.

    TERRIBLE. This restaurant used to be good - must have changed management. I could have made better tacos at home and the wait was unbelievable. I wouldn't go here again even if you paid me.

    This was my second visit and sadly both times the service has been terrible. Both times we had to leave the table to find a waiter to serve us. Food is okay but I have had better tacos at a pub that has no business making tacos. The Elotes, Mexican Street Corn, looked good but it was pretty clear the corn was boiled or roasted a day before and I have had better corn from a bar-b-que grill at the fairgrounds. The menu is weird. Tacos are 7 dollars but a minimum order of 2 is required. Why not just sell 2 Tacos for $14? Tasting menu for 2 looks like a great value at $27...but it is $27 per person. Why not just list it at $54? Honestly, take a pass and if you are craving Mexican, have nachos at the Keg around the corner. Sorry I like to support local business....but this place needs to figure out what they want to be, night club, comedy club or restaurant? Hire some servers and improve the food.

    Used to love this spot the first few months it was open. During our most recent visit, we were told the menu had changed. Regardless, we were open to trying it based on our previous satisfaction/experience from the restaurant (and our craving for tacos!). We ordered the $27 option per person that offers a little bit of everything (apps, tacos, dessert). The food was progressively nothing special, and then the tacos came. The tacos had long strands of hair in it which we bit right into and had to pull out of our teeth. It was absolutely disgusting!!! It totally ruined our appetite as well as experience. We sent the food back immediately. The staff were apologetic and offered to get us food from next door but at that point all appetit was lost and there was no going back. We simply wanted to leave. Instead we sat there waiting for our server who came over and slapped us our bill for our drinks, after waiving our food. After the bill came, which in our opinion should’ve been waived out of courtesy due to this disgusting incident, we had to wait again for someone to bring a terminal over to pay with a credit card. The person bringing the terminal was someone who had nothing to do with us all night which made it seem like the server didn’t want to deal with us. The restaurant did nothing to compensate for the cringe worthy experience nor make its customers feel valued. Never ever coming back to this place nor recommending it to anyone.

    This was the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The hostess could not find my reservation, but managed to sit us at a table. No one came to our table for at least 10 minutes. When they finally arrived we asked for water, that took another 10 minutes. We finally ordered our food and drinks. The first course came before our drinks. When our drinks finally arrived there was so much ice, you were lucky to get two sips. Never got asked if we wanted another drink. Finally tracked down the waiter to ask for another drink, it never came. Got our dessert, before we got a course of the food we ordered. They overcharged us on the bill. A complete disaster, will never go back.

    Was previously a favorite spot, but won’t be returning after this last visit. Not loving the new menu and had very rushed service. Left early and went somewhere else before our concert. So sorry to write this, loved Loco for a while.

    We were craving a good Mexican meal, and decided on the sampling menu which is fixed price for 3 courses. The service was really slow to the point where we had to ask for every part of our meal several times, including the water of all things. The portions were small and the Margheritas were more ice than alcohol. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    I’ll start by saying that the Margaritas were excellent. Everything else, not so much! The biggest complaint is that the service was abysmal... so slow and our waiter forgot a round of drinks. Food was also forgettable— bland to extremely bland. I won’t return.

    We sat in the window, perfect view, restaurant fully alive, it was a date night with my wife and both of us highly appreciated the atmosphere. Food was excellent, tasty ans spicy, drink was incredible and i really appreciate their shot tourney. We will return with a lot of pleasure

    Great restaurant! I been many times. Only hiccup was the owners allowed individuals recruiting for an app which allows you to order the food from the app as opposed to a waiter/waitress and that was disruptive to our dinner. I'm old school and I prefer the service of a waiter or waitress!

    We enjoyed our lunch here very much! The fish taco was one of the best I've had. Someone at our table specifically asked if a certain taco was spicy and was told no, but it was indeed too spicy to eat. The desserts were very expensive. However overall our meal was delicious and I will definitely be back!

    Booked for a group of 6 at first, then I needed to add 4 more people. Called the restaurant and it wasn’t a problem! When I got there the head chef and some staff helped me get my table. It was great. They were very friendly and welcoming. The food was great! Very tasty very fresh foods. Service was awesome too. I will return !

    Service was slow. The restaurant was empty and they failed to check up on us throughout or meal. Half of the table's meals came out and the other half took 5 more minutes. They forgot about some of our appetizers and they didn't come until after our entrees arrived. Turns out they didn't even charge us for our tequila or appetizers which was great for us but not so great for the owners...

    The restaurant lacked any atmosphere; it was the Saturday night of a long weekend so I know it can go either way...busy or dead, and it was dead! There were three other tables, two of them had several children and maybe it was because the restaurant was so quiet but the kids were running around all over the place and I think that isn't appropriate. If you want to let your kids run wild, take them to a children/family friendly restaurant, not to a downtown restaurant/bar. We were also at a high table and the seats are incredibly uncomfortable, not enticing for an evening of grazing and drinking.

    Our group made a reservation for a business lunch at a regular table. When we arrived, the server wanted to sit us at a high top. It took about 20 minutes to get a server to come by to get us drinks. Overall the food quality was ok. It took another 10 minutes or so to get the bill after asking two servers. Do not plan to go if you are on a tight timeline.

    We usually go for lunch and it’s surprisingly never busy even on weekends so we can easily get a table and it’s not loud. I’m assuming this is a more popular dinner / evening spot as the cocktails are quite pricey - but tasty. We always love the food. We’ve yet to be disappointed in anything and we’re working our way through the whole menu! So if you’re looking for a quiet lunch spot with a cool vibe and great food - this is your place!

    Service was a little slow but the waiter was extremely friendly and greatly improved our dining experience. Lobster taco is no longer on the menu so I ordered the barbocoa (9/10) and shrimp (7/10) tacos. Would recommend for a dinner get together or date
