   If you come really for the cocktails it's perfect. After 10pm it does get a little more hype so choose your adventure! We just wanted to grab some drinks and food so we came early and it was a fantastic idea. The drinks were exceptional, all complex yet delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out before the club crowd arrives and sampling everything they have!!

   The vibes were definitely there, the music is 10/10 - loved the energy. We got a table for 2 in those floral table/booth on the other side of the bar, super cute, the light above the table is too much especially when they dem the lights later on the night lol. I didn't know you'll lose the reservation after 2 hours...which no worries the music makes you want to get up and dance anyways, The drinks were a bit of a disappointment just because how beautiful the place looks-I just had more expectation for the drinks presentation-it could just be depending on what you get (Pina Clara is a no). Overall I loved the place and will be back!

   Once I got inside it was great, I usually have a good time here. This was my first time making a reservation, and I thought that would allow me to skip the line a little. My party and I waited an hour outside to be let in. While I understand there are capacity limits security kind of cherry picked who they would let inside. Never once asking the people in the actual reservation line if they had a reservation. The host was apologetic when we got in, but I wasn’t able to fully enjoy my experience because they closed an hour after we got sat. I’ll definitely be booking an earlier reservation next time but it was a pretty frustrating experience this go round.

   This place is a vibe. If you’re into house with sprinkles of hip hop (or just open minded musically) you’ll like it. The drinks I’ve had so far were really good too, my fav being the Girl From Iwo Jima. I’ve seen reviews about the prices but $15 is 1000% reasonable for a craft cocktail. We also had the dark chocolate ganache cake which was amazing! I give El Malo a 10 out of 10.

   I always get great service from the staff. On busy nights I recommend booking a red booth in advance.
