   Another great experience at Eldorado. Took some first-timers, and they were just as impressed as I had been on my first visit. Highly recommend if you want some delicious tacos, margaritas or cocktails. Upbeat atmosphere with friendly, efficient service.

   We had a reservation and were told on the phone we would have the large booth in the back, we arrived 10 minutes early and watched the hostess give our table away to a walk in group before us. The Hostess said she could push some tall table tops together and I told her we had called and were supposed to have a booth. She said we would have to wait 45 -60 minutes. We had 3 seniors in our group and I explained my sister has a disability where it’s hard to sit on tall chairs due to balance Issues. Hostess was very disorganized and confused when I asked why our reservation was given away. She didn’t apologize or offer to move the newly seated guests due to her mistake. Similar to other reviews I read, our experience was similar. Drinks came quick but then we waiteded a really long time for our waitress to put in our food order. Many tables that were seated after us got to order before ours which meant we had to wait a really long time for our main tacos. Finally an hour later hostess moved us to the booth, and then another 30 minutes before our food arrived. The food was delicious and fresh tasting and our appetizers were great as well. They just need to improve the flow and communication of front desk. Our waitress was lovely but you could tell they are not used to be super busy. Hostess needs training on how to maintain reservations. This place has great potential as the atmosphere and decor and food is great.

   The tacos were so small and barely filled. The fish taco was extremely disappointing with mainly batter and barely any fish inside. Price is per taco. Can find much better tacos in the Ottawa area for the same price or cheaper. Service was slow considering the restaurant was not busy when we dined, and waiter was not overly friendly. Would not dine again due to being so overpriced and such a disappointing lack of fillings in tacos.

   Chloe was an amazing server! Although it was busy with Cinco de Mayo, she was attentive and our drinks were kept full! Delicious tacos and margaritas. Will most definitely be back :)

   I went with a friend to celebrate our graduation! The server was lovely (I wish I remembered her name!) she was very helpful in navigating the menu and taking note of my allergies. The tacos were super yummy! The main reason we went was for the margaritas and I would definitely go again just for this! They are SO good!

    Long wait and bad food. We waited over an hour to get tacos and ceviche for two people. When the tacos came they were tiny and had barely anything in them. I’m a small person too, and don’t eat a lot. The ceviche though was the most disappointing. I’ve never had a ceviche I truly disliked until coming here - the ceviche was oily and tasted like nothing, no lime, no cilantro, just oil and tasteless. Nacho tips were stale too. On paper the menu looked great and nice atmosphere, but would never go back again. To top it all off was service that was mediocre at best and long wait for the food. Other tables around us had the same bad experience.

    Usually very good. Busy night even at 8 pm. Drink were relatively fast. A bit pricy imo. Biggest annoyance is after you order tacos and would like another round it takes longer to get 3 then your entire table the first time. Yet I was made to feel that ordering more was going to be just a few minutes. After 40 min we cancelled and left. This is the second time. I guess you’d better know how hungry you are and order them all at once. Disappointing on a $325 bill

    Foods was great. Service was okay. Empty glasses on the table that could have been refreshed. It was loud so having any sort of conversation was challenging. But the restaurant had a fun vibe for sure.

    I had a really fun time at El Dorado Taco! Always one of my favourite places for tacos in Ottawa, and it was great to introduce my date to one of my favourite places for tacos! The food was great, our servers were very attentive and overall it was a lot of fun! Thanks very much!

    Only thing I can say, is that our server forgot about us when came the time to bring us the bill so we waited a bit longer than we should have, but hey, it happens. Aside from that little hiccup, service was outstanding! :)

    Food was only okay. For somewhere the strictly specializes in tacos, you could honestly make most of what they offer at home. The steak tacos were tough, the pork belly was cardboard, and the shrimp tacos are sweeter than most restaurants desserts. This place was pretty underwhelming if it weren’t for the delicious cocktails.

    Our waiter went above and beyond. Got us espressos that they don’t even serve from a store next door. Crispy avocado and pulled pork pineapple tacos were so delicious. Will come back!!

    The food was amazing and made to order which makes it fresh as possible. The pork belly tacos were flavourful and the house made hot sauce complimented the food and didn’t overpower it. I would definitely recommend when in Ottawa.

    We arrived early on a wed so it wasnt busy and we got a table right away Our server was lovely and patient checking in on us. We ordered ceviche to share, it was delicious as were the spicey pineapple margaritas! Then we each had a fish taco and a crispy avocado taco, both were amazing and priced well. The atmosphere is great. We were 2 friends visiting and wanted to chat and take our time and we were able to do that!

    Avocado and fish tacos were absolutely delicious. The pulled pork pineapple didn’t have enough pineapple, it was unnoticeable. The tacos are very small compared to other places I’ve been to, therefore, would have to eat 5-6 to make it a proper meal which would be quite expensive. The shells could also be better, they do the job but no more. Restaurant is nice, service was good, enjoyed my dinner but not willing to spend that much for that little food too often.

    Outstanding tacos… and so affordable. We had a lovely server who was kind and carefully catered for my celiac needs. I had three different types of tacos… All of which were just so tasty, but the winner was the pulled chicken! I feel like I could’ve eaten 15 of them.

    First time there. Food was authentic…not Americanized. Drinks were tasty. Waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. Food delivered quickly. Ordered extra tacos which took a bit long but we were having good conversation so overall not too bad. Will definitely be returning.

    The service was absolute crap. We had to keep waiving him down to get items for the table. He couldn't do multiple things at once: getting chips and getting drink orders at the same time was too much to handle. But the biggest issue was when we wanted a second round of drinks: I asked him a question. I got the answer. He then took one of our three drink orders and walked away. I had to flag him down to get drinks for the other two guests. Oh, and the food was mediocre at best. Sighs. Expensive meal, no value.

    First visit to Eldorado TACO. I thought it was a Mexican restaurant, but it is as stated in name, a taco joint! They do have nachos and a few other starters on the menu but we didn’t try them this visit. We tried a variety of tacos on the menu, shrimp, avocado, cauliflower and fish. They were all delicious but we especially enjoyed the fried avocado taco. Our server was attentive and the tacos bordered on gourmet with their fresh flavours and nice presentations.
