We're locals. We've eaten at Eldr several times. We want to like it. But this last time was enough to give up. Food was inconsistent, service had heart but was overwhelmed, noise made it impossible to hold a conversation, and the bill was ludicrous. We ended up spending close to $75 for a basic breakfast and an average burger, no alcohol. Wouldn't recommend.

We really enjoyed our meal. The duck was just superb. Our waitress was very nice and had good recommendations. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

Nicest restaurant interior in Asheville. The food is outstanding- unusual and intriguing pairing of ingredients made every bite a delight. We’ll definitely be going back.

We’ve been to ELDR three times and are thoroughly impressed with Chef Eric’s creativity. Only one dish in the 16+ we’ve tried was not up to par. The others were delicious. The vibe is low key and inviting. Service is friendly and professional. Staff know food. Lovely bar area with seating for walk ins. And a beautiful patio for outdoor dining.

We had a lovely time at Eldr. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I had the duck, which I really enjoyed. I also shared the awesome banana pudding with my friend. We loved the banana pudding and my friend mentioned that she wanted that dessert again the next day. If we could have, we would have gone twice to Eldr this trip. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Ashville!!
