I love the atmosphere and food at Electric Dinner, but the service always leaves something to be desired. We ordered an appetizer that never came, even after several severs asked us if we still wanted them and we said yes. Service has been inconsistent at best, hopefully it will be better if we return in the future.

I wish I could remember the name of our server, they were fantastic. The food was great, service was efficient during a busy Grey Cup weekend. We fully expected to have delays, knowing was weekend it was, however were were pleasantly surprised that the Electric Diner was very timely with the food. We were seated a little early, to which we appreciated as well. Never a disappointment here.

Such a fun spot! Burger was tasty and fries were delish. Two people in our party had the fish and chips and found the batter/chip crust was too much compared to the size of the filet. Thicker filet or less chip batter would have improved the dish. The ambiance was great and the staff were so friendly. Props to the host who was such a sweetie at the door. We also recognized the owner out on the floor smiling at everyone and being helpful to her team. Love to see it!! We’ll be back — thank you!

Warm welcome and attentive staff. The atmosphere was great and I loved the decor and colours. They had a good variety of menu items and the pricing was decent. I couldn’t hear my friend who was seated in front, so I sat next to her. The staff noticed this and offered to push another table together and make it more comfortable for us. The food came out fairly quickly and it was an overall wonderful experience for us. I would come back.

We attended the George St. location hoping for an interesting meal as experienced earlier for lunch. This dinner was a horrible disappointment. The fish dish was overdone, black with dried up fish filling. A large serving of fries took up most of the plate flanked by a very small serving of coleslaw. My companion had the Reggie burger, the burger was so hard she could tap it on the plate. I should have complained immediately but as this was a visit for my friends birthday I decided to report the experience later, as now. We will not be going to this restaurant again.

We needed more napkins and of better quality… Sound system was poor, and sounded like an old a.m. car radio… And it was a little too loud, and when all the diners have to talk louder it created quite a racket

Unfortunately we were unhappy with our experience. I was excited to show my family this place I thought they’d really enjoy it. We waited over 30 mins to place food order after having to ask someone to send our server over to take the order. Coffees $4 each but we didn’t ever see the server to get refills. One breakfast was cold, one was missing bacon, again, the server didn’t come by so we weren’t able to address this. Server wasn’t friendly or helpful at all, hopefully just a one off, everyone has bad days, but was very disappointed and family members mentioned they would not return.

The food was very good and I cannot deny that. We had a reservation for 6 which required a 18% gratuity. Unfortunately the service was not up to par. When our order was taken and the food was brought out, the server did not come back around for a long time. When our plates were taken, we didn’t get a chance to order dessert for 30 minutes and since everything was taking long, we asked for the bills when the dessert was dropped off. The prices on the drink menu, did not not reflect the price we were charged (ceasar said $11 on the menu, and we were charged $13, cotton candy drink said $7, we were charged $9). When we brought it up, the server said “they must’ve changed the prices and not the menu”..we told them we wished we knew about the change. We were charged per lemon wedge and unfortunately were never told about it until afterwards. I just wish it was brought up at the time we asked for it which wouldn’t have been a problem. Just inform your customers prior to so it’s not a surprise. The food and atmosphere is truly amazing. I am hoping it was a one off and maybe too busy and under staffed!

The service, food, layout, everything was amazing. My date really enjoyed it too! Unfortunately, the table beside us was a group of very loud men. I'm hard of hearing already and they were incredibly and inconsiderately loud. We didn't complain because we understand there's nothing really that can be done about that, and it didn't affect the wonderful service or delicious meals. Will definitely be back regardless!

Our party arrived in 2 groups. Each group had an issue opening the door as it’s old and heavy and was stuck closed. Each time this happened, the 2 staffed hostesses did nothing to help or encourage the door opening. They just stood there dead faced watching each person struggle with the door. This not only happened with our group, it happened with multiple groups. Each time, staff doing nothing. I found the service overall to be cold and uninviting. This place looks like a trendy, fun place to eat, the staff should reflect that atmosphere.

Owners were very helpful to me when planning my wife’s surprise dinner. Through the many changes I had to make they were understanding and at the end of the day it was a great experience for everyone. Food even surprised me and was better than I expected, I had the schnitzel. Birthday cake was great too! Would recommend

Delicious and inventive food, lovely service and family friendly. The avocado toast was so good and they easily accommodated my dairy allergy. My husband said the Tucked Egg sandwich was one of the best sandwiches he's ever eaten. Would definitely go again.

I was hoping for a more fun and lively experience. For example, disco ball in motion, juke box working, wait staff to be 80s dressed and more lively. The adults ordered the Fish sticks and fish sandwich which seemed overcooked. The kids ordered burgers and shakes and quite enjoyed them.
