The service was excellent. The food was delicious, however we were quite disappointed by their pizza. We had the truffle pizza, it lacked of taste and the bottom was extremely soggy. The truffle Mac and cheese however, is a must: absolutely phenomenal.
The service was amazing, I forget the name of our server, but he was very tall with dark hair. He was very charismatic making sure we were taken care of the whole night despite having a large section to take care of.
The music and ambience were also amazing. There was a large party nearby so was a little loud, but that is understandable and does not take away from the review.
The food was very good, however, slightly expensive. Would come back for a special occasion.

Service impeccable, menu qui a l’air délicieux, nous avions envi de tout essayer. Nous reviendrons définitivement pour essayer les pizzas qui avaient l’air succulente. Les boulettes de nonna et les pâtes caccio and Pepe a l’huile de truffe étaient délicieuses. La pieuvre était en partie un peu trop brûlée, mais la présentation était parfaite et le reste de l’assiette était très bonne.

They changed the menu, very limited, I ordered spicy rigatoni it wasn’t spicy at all and there was some type of vegetable wasn’t sure what it was since it wasn’t written on the menu. they sat us on the second floor ,no ambience it felt like I was sitting in a closet near a washroom while the downstairs was happening and had music. It’s like we where secluded from the restaurant. This was my first time and last time. I was definitely not impressed.

Impressed with the food. I had the filet mignon and it was delicious. My friend is vegan and they made her a vegan pasta that was off the menu that she really enjoyed.

The poor waitress upstairs had The entire section to herself and could not handle it all the tables were getting really poor service the waitress was super sweet but completely overwhelmed.. it just didn’t make sense for a Saturday night to have one waitress upstairs.
it had been 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, we ordered drinks & our food and got our food before our drinks, ordered our 2nd round of drinks as we got our food since it took so long and they never even came :( not a great experience over all, food was good though.
I normally don’t write these but I got a text message asking me how our experience was so I thought I would share
I had a reservation at 7:30 on Friday. The seating was right next to the washroom where many people pass by and my girlfriend is at high risk If they catch Covid so to avoid hygiene issues I politely requested to the manager I believe (woman with short curly hair) if we can change seat. She sarcastically and extremely rudely laughed in our face as if it was an inexcusable request despite there being two available tables nearby and then had us move. This was very insulting and the night was already off to a bad start. Then we ordered two elefante special bloody cesars which were not drinkable. We told the manager again that we didn’t like them and she again was extremely rude about it and said she was open to feedback about the special drink and charged us for both of them. The Pasta dishes (double truffle pasta and mac and cheese) was also very cold When they arrived to our plate. I was very disappointed with my experience. The only positive was the male waiter who was actually very polite and pleasant. I would have preferred to not deal with who I think was the manager as she really ruined the experience. Our table spent close to $400 and it was a terrible night. I do not recommend this place to anyone after this night.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Food was below average - pizza was terrible, octopus was fishy, the truffle pasta was fine .. the ambiance is wtv - definitely nothing to rave about. Not sure how this place shares owners with Fish Bone right next door which is 1000 times better in every aspect.
Best i can say about this place was the service. we had a stellar waiter who recognized all too well our disappointment that evening. He remained friendly, professional and even had them credit the 2 octopus dishes after asking us for our honest opinion on the dish (having seen we both left it practically untouched).
J'ai fait une reservation au bar pour 3 personnes pour 19h30. Nous ne voulions pas manger tout de suite, avons seulement pris une bouteille de vin, mais avons bien communiqué à la barmaid nos intentions de commander des plats un peu plus tard. Le restau était vide (seulement deux groupes au bar, dont le mien). 45 min après nous être assis elle nous a pressés à commander des plats (soit disant qu'une autre groupe allait arriver). C'était légèrement insultant et mal communiqué. Nous avons commandé (nous en avions l'intention dès le début) mais évidemment aucun autre groupe n'est arrivé et le restau est resté vide toute la soirée...... Je comprends son intention de faire de l'argent mais c'est un peu insultât de se faire presser comme ça alors que nous étions au bar, ça faisait meme pas une heure qu'on était sur place, le restau était vide, et nous lui avons bien dit que nous souhaitons manger.

We were very excited to try it out. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The restaurant is well decorated and the vibe is great with good music. Luckily, we were placed on the 2nd floor, it wasn’t as loud as the first floor.
Food was overpriced for what it was. Waitress was very nice, however the food took forever to come out.
Menu in restaurant claimed pasta was made in-house. It is not (saw boxes of Barilla on the counter). Not only that, ordered the double truffle which is like Cacio e Pepe with truffle: never in my life have I seen a restaurant pre-cook their spaghetti. Spaghetti (from Barilla) takes 7 minutes to cook! Why do you need to pre-cook? It was way beyond al dente (but I knew this as I saw them bring out the already cooked spaghetti in a large stainless steel kitchen food pan). Beyond shocked. Chef is great and trying his best. Thank god for him - he did save the meal and had it not been for him I would have written a worse review. However, for an Italian restaurant (with some italian speaking staff) they should know better! I'm still in shock that I was served pre-cooked pasta. Even in non-Italian restaurants they cook it on the spot.
The hostess was extremely rude and completely unhelpful.
Although the food was delicious, the hostess sat us at the bar when all the tables were completely empty and I had made my reservation a week in advance. This is the second time this has happened.
When I asked why we couldn’t be seated at a table, the hostess said it was reserved because someone called and asked for a table specifically. I then asked how I could assure I would be seated at a table in the future, she went on to explain that there is no guarantee and no possible way to do that. Which completely contradicts her previous statement about someone calling to reserve a table.
She was extremely rude and made no sense in how she explained herself. If we were the first people to get there we should be seated at a table instead of the bar.
At any other restaurant, being seated at the bar is the last option when there are no tables left.

Wow before going I read the review and decided to ignore the red flags. Went yesterday night with friends, food was good, prices are ridiculous and service was poor. Here's what happened: My friends and I weren't done that the server asked us for the table. Usually if you need the table at a certain time, you advise the guest at the beginning of the night. Instead he literally took our wine glasses and moved them to the bar. We were 3, so the bar wasn't the perfect place to chat. Since there is a second floor that was empty last night, I asked to be moved there (at least we could have a table to finish our wine). The waiter apologize and said that the second floor was full. Which was a total lie because the bathroom is there and I was just coming back and saw how empty it was up there. So he lied to me in my face because when I told him so, he then said it was okay if we wanted to move up. Then he left us there. So we end up paying the ridiculously high price and we left.Oh and the crowd is full of show-off with sunglasses at 9pm lol.
Save your money and go somewhere else, the old port is full of nice places!
