J'ai réservé au restaurant jeudi soir pour 17h30, journée de tempête au froid glacial. Mon amie et moi sommes arrivé aux alentours de 17h20, l'entrée n'était pas visible et aucune porte ne semblait être ouverte. J'ai téléphoné au restaurant et c'est alors qu'on m'a dit qu'il fermait pour la journée car le chef était malade. Je ne comprends donc pas pour quelle raison je n'avais pas été informé. Je me suis fait répondre qu'on m'avait téléphoné plus tôt par contre étant au travail à l'heure de l'appel je n'ai pu répondre. Le jeune homme m'a donc informé qu'il n'a pas laissé de message car la plupart des personnes ne les écoutes pas .. Je travaille dans le service à la clientèle et pour moi c'est inacceptable comme service. De plus, ayant réservé sur la plateforme open table, le restaurateur aurait dû annuler notre réservation, de ce fait un courriel nous aurait avisé! Nous nous sommes déplacé dans des conditions pas très idéale, avons payé le parcomètre pour ne pas manger. Je ne recommande pas !

Although we went on a holiday and the manager expressed being understaffed, this was the worst experience I have ever had dinning. Some minimal service practices would have made me overlook the 1 hour wait between appetizers and mains. We ended up leaving before receiving them because a table that arrived after we had finished our appetizers received the same items (pizza and pasta) that we had ordered, before us. wrong drinks being brought, no bread brought after requested, water not hit the table until 30 min in. Manager gave two rounds of shot 2 hours into the service, which was appreciated but not replaced having the food on the table. I hate writing a bad review and I hope this was caused solely due to the short staffing but in my opinion their staff should be retrained to better approach situation like these.

We went for our reservation and the restaurant was closed. We had to look for another restaurant on Christmas eve. It would have been good the restaurant didn’t accept reservations on Christmas eve if they were not going to be open.

Really upsetting experience. The dishes were disgustingly and visibly dirty. The food was good although the service was horrible. Management was extremely rude to us, and tables around us. Saddened about this experience, and will not be returning.

Service was extremely slow. We had to wait an hour and a half to get two drinks from the bar. The food was delivered without cutlery. By the time they provided the cutlery 15 minutes later the food was cold. Overall very disappointed.

Honestly, it wasn't anything special. My friends liked the pasta but the 2 pizzas we ordered, 5 fromaggi and truffle pizza, werent fantastic for the price you pay. The cheese pizza was extremely salty and the truffle tasted like nothing. Very bland. Wouldn't recommend it. It's too bad. Also, the place is kinda filthy. Spider webs all over the ceiling and corners. The bathrooms were not in great shape. Can't imagine the kitchen? Who knows...

Wonderful food. The inslata mista, pizza and, in particular, truffle pasta were standouts. Attentive, professional service. My only criticism is that it is quite loud and hard to hear your table mates (and we were seated at the back below a speaker), but that may be a feature for some.

Elefante used to be one of my favorite restaurants, however this last visit was really bad, I don't know what happened but it's sad to see such a good restaurant failing. The food was not good, (swordfish carpaccio,truffles gnocchi, gnocchi a la burrata ) all 3 dishes were tasteless, the presentation was also sloppy. They kept the AC on even though it was colder outside, everybody had their jacket on and absolutely nobody was taking pictures of their plates. The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night, it was a total let down. Hopefully our waitress was understanding and very professional otherwise it would have been a complete nightmare. I hope they will get better because I had nothing but good things to say about this place prior to that visit.

we were sat under the stereo and it was super hard to here everyone. the hostess sat us at our table without menus so when our waitress came by to ask for our orders 10-15 minutes later, we had to tell her we didn’t even get them. to make up for it our waitress gave us free shots

The food was good, although different than described. Spicy tomato pasta was no spicy at all. And, brushetta was not brushetta, but more like hush puppies (fried without sugar on the dough balls) with oil and vinaigrette for dipping. They were tasty, but not what was expected, brushetta. Row tables were okay, but a little close to the neighboring guests; I could easily hear their conversation. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Appetizer, filst mignon carpaccio, was very good. The total price for our meal without alcohol was just over $100. A nice restaurant overall.

The service was 10/10!!! Mani the waiter was amazing! We didn’t really enjoy the first drink we got so ask to replace it and he did it with ease. He was also very helpful with the food choices. We took spaghetti gamberini with a 5 cheese pizza to share. Everything was delicious. Definitely a restaurant to recommend! We ate outside and we definitely enjoyed being outside because the music inside was very loud! Great ambiance but we preferred the outside placement. This is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone who loves a good italian restaurant not overpriced.
