    A special thanks to our server, Cailin, for her friendly and courteous demeanour. My friends and I spent a long time at the table catching up and we did not feel rushed to leave, which was much appreciated.

    This was my first meal over lunch hour at E & C!! (I consider myself a regular dinner participant during the TSO Concert season!! This said, the restaurant was less busy as it was a Monday, and we were in and done with lunch within an hour!! Thank you!

    Very enjoyable. The Sausage Roll Starter was excellent! We we're recommended the Sunday Roast. Very tasty, good size portions. Did not disappoint. Our waitress Jessica was very attentive and we we're served quickly without being rushed. Overall a very good dinning experience.

    The TSO 2023/24 Concert Season jut started with a wonderful opening Night and first fall dinner at E & C! Had my go to Sheppard's Pie this evening - and our server was excellent! Look forward to many more! Needless to say we have started referring to ourselves as dinner regulars

    This is a great spot for a low-key bite to eat in the theatre district. Great selection of shareables and mains, with a great bar variety as well. Fast and friendly servers. Elephant & Castle never disappoints me!

    My husband and I dined there on our Anniversary and was served by Veronica. We ordered the Rueben sandwich with noble salad. It was delicious and came fairly prompt. Veronica was very cheerful and provided excellent service. We would definitely go back!

    Wonderful service, wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere as always. We really feel as if the staff know us and are happy to see us everytime we have dinner there. And we almost always get our favourite table. :)

    This is the best sports bar in Toronto. Why? The ability to book a table for the event that you want to see. For us, it was soccer. Sat at the table our server introduced themselve to us and outlined the menu. It was extensive and the steak pie was amazing. Reasonably priced drinks made this a great day out. The air-conditioning was fierce almost to the point of cold. However, it was not enough to detract from the great atmosphere. Oh, our team lost!

    We can always count on the E&C for a nice meal before the theatre. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food is tasty. We were also able to get a reservation the day before.

    The menu has a large enough selection to please everyone from apps to full meals. The desserts (bread pudding and brownie) were each large enough for 4 people. Quality was excellent as was the service. Our server’s name is not in the receipt so I can’t praise her directly but she was very friendly, attentive and patient.

    We were unable to get a hot beverage due to a problem with the coffee machine etc. It would have been good client service to give a small token to acknowledge the omission - like a free beverage on your next visit.

    Opel the hostess is fabulous and very friendly and always takes good care of her customers. We have been using the Elephant regularly as Mirvish Subscribers as our go to restaurant for lunch - great service Thanks Opel

    We have gone to the Elephant & Castle for years. It's a go to spot when visiting downtown. Service (servers) are always great. But this time, there was no coffee or tea, they stop making soup on Monday & Tuesday? The food for the most part was okay - but the Slaw that came with my Fish and Chips was, as I could only describe, as tainted or expired. I appreciate the urgency to get the food out as quick as possible on a game/event evening - but the plates were not presented well and really felt 'thrown together' in a cafeteria style approach. Beer came in odd glasses - my first beer came in a narrow juice/water glass (was not even half a pint) and my second beer came in a regular beer glass but only 3/4 full. Overall it just felt like a lot less effort/value that previous visits. But the servers/service was and always is, awesome.

    Great food, busy pre-game. Servers hustled but could use a few more staff. Noisy, so hard to chat at the dinner table - and we were in a ‘quiet’ area. Reservation system was great.

    I visited for 2 football matches and 1 just passing to check it out. Service is very quick and polite, even when completely rushed off their feet when a big game is on. Menu could do with a bit more variety on snack front. Lots n lots n lots of screens

    Nice place to go for a night out or after a baseball game. The staff are kind and give great service and they are always smiling. I was there last Saturday and there was good music and fantastic food, I recommend the Butter chicken and Cheese cake.
