With a Mirvish subscription we always try to book the Elephant and Castle if we’re seeing a show at the Royal Alex or P of W. We know we’ll get great food, great service and good value for our money. The service is outstanding! We will continue to return.

Nice selection on the menu. Well priced. We were most impressed with our server Jessica. She was friendly and very efficient. She checked on us frequently. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and she brought a piece of cheesecake to celebrate.

Service was extremely slow even thought they were not busy. The only plus was the relatively inexpensive drinks compared to other downtown restaurants.

You must try the hummus plate!! So good!! It had balsamic dressing poured over the hummus with nann bread and veggies!! Definitely worth the price!! The Sunday Dinner was also delicious!! Abit noisy and hard to hear over conversation but overall the staff were awesome and our waiter was the best!! Thanks for a great night out!!

One of us had steak & mushroom pie which was very good. The other person chose shepherds pie. The shepherds pie was advertised as a mix of beef and lamb. There was very little, if any, lamb in the dish. The pie filling was dry because it didn’t cover the whole dish. The service was excellent and the restaurant was hopping. A fun atmosphere for a night out.

I would consider myself a regular Wed evening diner.. I am here about 2 times a month as we always dine here when I attend my TSO subscriber concerts at RTH! My guest arrived 30 minutes early so the hostess at the door around 4:30 pm Wed kindly seated her at a booth since I always request one..It was very busy so thank you for accommodating her early arrival!! Our server was also very attentive during our meal without checking every 10 minutes, and we had a lovely meal!!

I arrived 30mins in advance of my reservation and expected to sit at the bar, but was pleasantly surprised to be seated promptly. Our server, Josh, was very attentive & good-natured. All within the party ordered different entrees, & everyone really enjoyed their choice. The volume of noise within the restaurant was reasonable, which we greatly appreciated (compared to other nearby options which are regularly far too loud for a group outing like this one).

Our server was excellent. I asked her opinion of the entree I ordered and she gave me an honest opinion which turned out be bang on. My husband really enjoyed his meal. I gave 4 stars because as our waitress had warned it could be a bit overwhelming tastewith the caramelized onions. Anyways thank you.

Great service from Carol! She was friendly; very knowledgeable about the menu and she made some great recommendations. Everyrhing tasted delicious...especially the selection of 4 mini pot pies! We were in and out in plenty of time for our play as well. We will be back. Btw we were a group of 8.

I have been to this venue on many occasions and have always been satisfied if not impressed by the food. But this last visit was underwhelming to say the least. There were 4 of us who ordered mains plus 3 shared appetizers and I’m not sure id say any of them were particularly good. I’m not sure what’s happened at this restaurant but there has definitely been a change to the quality. The restaurant is super loud and crowded with not much room to move let alone relax.

The music is quite loud . When you have a hearing problem it is very difficult to hear conversation at the table. This past experience we were at a table with seating in an L around the table. Several of us have hearing problems, some with aids some not , the conversation was lost a lot of the time. Is is it possible to request a table or booth when making a reservation?

Very disappointed with food. .and I was looking forward to it. I ordered chicken pot pie. Pastry was delicious but the rest terrible... almost tasted like the meat had gone bad! Terrible off taste and smell... could not eat it. My friend ordered chicken tenders...so much thick batter and hard you could barely see the chicken... honestly terrible she left half. The server was great...nice atmosphere but we will not be back!! Terrible cuisine

Our sever was amazing. He doubled as bartender yet you wouldn’t notice. Friendly, professional and amazing!!! We had 4 kids with us and gave us great suggestions too. Only thing was you ran out of the Sunday roast beef dish, but our alternate was delicious as well.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here yesterday before going to a show. Jessica served us and was so friendly and helpful! She has served us before at this restaurant and she comes across as someone who loves people! It is so nice to feel such a warm welcome! The food was great. We had the tomato and feta appetizer, fish tacos and leek pie. All were delicious! The side salads are better than the average pub fare. Looking forward to our next visit!!

My flight of pies was hot & excellent. The house salad very good. I wish the mini pies were in a mini dish instead of aluminum tart tins. My husbands burger and sweet potatoe fries tasted good but were luke warm. I would send it back to the kitchen next time.
