Not amazed by this place but it also wasn't awful. Seems that reservations are difficult to book, but when you get there many tables are empty? Not sure why that is. In any case our waiter was prompt in serving us and going through the menu at a high level. when it came to the steak offerings, the overview seemed scripted and a soft-sell on the dairy cow holstein steaks which we were told was exclusive to Elisa. i admit, it piqued my interest. I was interested in the striploin as I was looking for a slightly leaner cut. I asked about the marbling on it specifically. The waiter gave me canned answer that didn't answer my question. I made the assumption it would be fairly lean with some marbling but when the steak came, it was highly fatty. When I shared this with him he didn't seem to know how to respond. If I wanted to have a highly marbleized steak, I would have chosen the ribeye. It was too heavy and I couldn't finish even half of it. for $50 steak and $250 bill, I expected more from this restaurant. We did enjoy the scallop as well as the truffled beef carpaccio appies - those were delicious. however the other menu offerings seems oddly similar to The Victor which we have enjoyed very much. Overall I would say, the food is overpriced for what you get.
This Is a perfect place to go for a special occasion or date night. The service was amazing and very friendly. We had the tuna tartare, steak, Brussel sprouts and 2 desserts! it was all amazing. I can't wait to return

On arrival being greeted by Carley was super awesome! Our server Ken did an outstanding job guiding us through the menu and taking care of us! The Cocktails Derek made and brought us were outrageously good!! And A5 Wagyu was everything we wanted and more! Huge shout out to the entire Elisa Team!!
A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and nice ambiance. After dinner, I sat at the bar; the bartender (Derek) was very friendly and made me a very good drink. Although this isn't a classic steakhouse they do have very good menu options. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant for upscale dining.
Our first time here and we came with a group of 8. Couple of issues that stood out but didn't ruin our evening. While our server was excellent and knew everything about the menu, the kitchen service was very slow. Appetizers came quickly, but mains took a long time, about an hour from the time we ordered. There were a few hiccups with food items, cold fries, slightly undercooked meat and Luke warm coffee. All things we should have sent back, but due to time we just decided to tolerate. The meat itself was all excellent, top cuts, aside from a few being undercooked. I mean, the line between medium rare and rare can be a fine one. We opted for corkage as opposed to something from their wine list. The list is very good, but pricing seems a bit off on their new world wines. At least the ones I was familiar with. The room is stunning, art and decor are perfect. Chairs are very comfortable and the small details have not been overlooked. Certainty another Top Table hit. We were there for 3.5 hours and none of us were upset, so I think that says it all. Lastly, get a lazy Susan for the large round both and remember it's not a club, so maybe back off on the club music and volume level a smidge. We noticed the changeover in the room from diners dressed to kill to a younger crowd with backwards ball caps and sneakers. Just don't forget the rest of us trying to have a conversation through speech and not text.
Seafood platter was excellent but the cache creek steak came out underseasoned and wagyu was half fat cap no meat. We sent back the wagyu and it came back excellent.
Service was attentive and excellent mostly but she tried to tell us the fat cap was part of the wagyu marbling and that was really insulting to be lied to. She only took it back when we insisted it was not.
Overall good dinner.
The ambience is lovely, the wine storage wall is sparkling. Food is great except the braised rabbit is a little bit off. Waiter recommendation for wine is very fitted for my friend and I. Would love to go back later to try more items. Great place for date and celebration

I don't eat Red Meat like my meat lover comrades so I would have expected to stick only with salads.
and Yes, the salads are delicious. but the Veggie dishes...are incredible! The seafood and chicken are yummy and the portions are very ample.

When I first dined at Elisa I was blown away. It was the best steak I've had in Vancouver, even rivalling some of the steaks I've had in New York. In addition, the seafood was also incredible, desert, wine and service was also top notch.
However, the most recent dining experience was a complete disappointment. The service was just OK matching the quality of the food.
I'm a little apprehensive to give them another try as the experience I had was such a sharp contrast to my last and an embarrassing let down as I raved about them to by guest was also incredibly disappointed her meal.
This may quickly turn into a cocktail and desert spot if they can't be more consistent. I don't know if I will go back for dinner again.
An overall excellent dining experience. From start to finish, we felt well looked after. The room is stunning and the ambiance is lively yet refined. They offer an expansive wine list for all tastes and price points. All meals in our group of 5 were cooked to perfection and times to arrive simultaneously. Sides were ample and tasty. I strongly recommend this restaurant and feel it has earned the level of Vancouver's best.

The prawns in the seafood platter were not deveined (yuck) and the staff made it abundantly clear that we needed to clear off for the next seating to the point of 'forgetting' our cappuccinos. Definately not worth the $700 dollars that we spent at this restaurant.
Good elbow room atmosphere and music level with excellent service. Bison tartare was great , mushroom risotto was bit too dry too many mushrooms not very creamy . Steak and short ribs okay but nothing new

I went early to my reservation, Hanna at the front graciously welcomed me and offered any seating I preferred so I sat at the bar. The restaurant is beautiful with an amazing cocktail and dinner menu. The bartender Jen provided absolutely the best service I have had in a while! It was busy at the bar but she was an expert at multitasking, making drinks, taking my order, and constantly checking up on me (dining solo) to ensure I was doing well! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning and food was delicious. Although I did not have their signature steaks, the appetizers were perfection and service top notch! Overall, I would definitely return for a full dining experience and highly recommend guests here.
Went for dinner for my girlfriends birthday. We had an amazing dinner with great service, great wine and excellent food. I can't wait to go back.
Steak was grey! Surprised when you're paying that much and could cook a better steak at home. It's a steak restaurant, they serve $50+ steaks, and have them come out grey, flatly unacceptable. Service was ok but not exceptional, ambience a little corporate and a little noisy. Outstanding wine list with a great sommelier.

Right from the welcome when we walked in the door. Staff were very friendly and the waiter was absolutely outstanding. New his wines, made great suggestions for the four of us. Definitely will be one of my regular “go to” places now. Good atmosphere inside with no “Douchbags.” Maybe because it was a Sunday night but I hope “those types” don’t make it a regular hangout. Vancouver needs more places like this and less chains.
Our 5th visit since opening every meal has been better than the previous, fantastic!
We had the tenderloin, the blue rib eyed, the waygu.... , their steak is a lot better then most of the steak houses in Vancouver!!

First time at Elisa! Awesome service and attention to detail. Bison Tartare and Short Rib were amazing and PEI Ribeye was an interesting change from Western Beef. Luca and the Chefs made sure all my dietary restrictions were removed from every dish which is amazing!!
Overall a great date with my Wife!!

I didn’t overly love my experience here. The room was very standard, in my opinion. The food was only ok. The service was quite good, but that was really the only note worthy part. The overall experience was not what I’ve had before from Top Table group restaurants.
My wife is a Vegan and they were incredibly accommodating. Our food was very good. Presentation was exceptional. Our waitress was very friendly and provided an exceptional dinning experience. I would highly recommend dining here.
