Service was flawless. Food was truly mouth watering. Wonderful building. Very confident in their covid protocols.
Just not the same as pre covid , BUT they did a great job with food and service. Very happy and would recommned
Relaxing environment with no pressure to hurry. Soup was excellent.
The place is nice. Seems like brunch is better than dinner. Expected better for the Prime rib and server was very forgetful.
The food was superb. Our server was excellent I love the wonderful old home. I have dined at 3 Michelin restaurants & would rate the Elmhurst above 2 of them & equal to the 3rd.
Your chef is marvelous.
As usual, the staff where phenomenal and the food extraordinary. Never ceases to impress!
We returned from out of town to the Elmhurst Inn for lunch on Sunday given that we were in the area. We hadn’t been there in several years. What a delight.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch (including the best Reuben I’ve had in years) and were provided with friendly and great service from Philip.
At a time when so many place are struggling due to the pandemic, or have changed over the years, the restaurant at Elmhurst provided the great food and service that we enjoyed years ago. We’ll be back soon (now that we have family moving nearby).
This was our second time at this establishment. Refined, quaint, with excellent service and superb cuisine.
I completely love the place! Food it's great and the service as well, even though you will be full at the end, you must try a dessert and coffee for sure! The only thing, I was waiting for a courtesy dessert for our 3rd anniversary dinner and they didn't offer any, but that's ok! Maybe we are used to that, anyways, definitely I'll come back.
Our small birthday celebration meal was excellent. The Caesar salads were generous for a starter size, and the prime rib was tender and tasty. Our small dining room felt safe, and staff were attentive and accomodating. Two months ago I had the lamb at Elmhurst, and it was fabulous.
Thank you very much for your positive review. We take great pride in doing our best to make our guests happy. We look forward to seeing you again
This was our first visit to Elmhurst for dinner. It was a Christmas gift. It was a great dinner overall and would come again for another special occasion.

It was a wonderful dinner, food was amazing, well spaced out! Highly recommend!

Our first experience and definitely won't be our last. From start to finish it was wonderful. Staff were attentive but not overbearing and their COVID safety measure were apparent but didn't detract what so ever from a nice night out. The food was phenomenal, taste, presentation, quantity, all top notch! Absolutely stellar experience and we can't wait to go back!

My first time at Elmhurst, celebrating my wife’s birthday was a wonderful experience! the food and service was outstanding. Definitely 5 star all the way!
Good food, lovely setting, attentive service and reasonably priced given it is an Ontario Inn. Would definitely go back again, once Covid settles down!
Elegant setting for a special dinner - food excellent and service excellent and prices quite reasonable
High quality food, lamb was succulent, mint sauce was great. Squash soup was amazing, as was the chocolate truffle cake. Fettuccine was very salty but still good, and the cheesecake was small, but delicious.
We felt very safe. Tables well spaced.
Server was pleasant and did not rush us. Lunch was lovely. Crepes were delicious.
Outstanding. Will be back for dinner again. Looking forward to trying the spa.
Excellent time made even better by the wonderful fall weather.
Our daughters birthday
Was a great meal with perfect service
Clean and wonderful experience
The Elmhurst Inn is a beautiful old Inn with a lot of history. The grounds are very nice and I enjoyed a small run on their trails. The restaurant is excellent and we will be returning in the future.
Beautiful heritage building and grounds.
Food was mediocre at best. Service was indifferent and ambience was like a cafe.
Food was delicious. The service was very attentive and pleasant. We were celebrating a special occasion so it was a perfect match.
Amazing food and staff. A little pricey for our current times.
A really beautiful dining experience and wonderful wait staff.
The food and service was fantastic. All COVID protocols are in place for a safe experience.
The food was excellent. I ordered seafood fettuccini and it was the best seafood pasta I have ever had. My husband had the prime rib and it was juicy, tender and flavorful. We will definitely come back again.
Very good food and great service. Well composed textures and tastes without being too decadent.
Went for our 1 year anniversary
food was excellent and our server was also very good!
We will definitely be back.
Great location, food was excellent, prices reasonable, service was amazing.
This restaurant has superb food, from appetizers to dessert. The service was great by our waiter making sure water glasses were filled and all our needs met. Social distancing of tables did not detract from the ambience, in fact it was pleasant to not be close to other folks chatting at their tables.
Viewing the lovely grounds from our bay window in the oak room was lovely and we saw the fountain lights come on too.
a great dining experience at Elmhurst.
I would have thought that a crepe would be presented as a crepe rather than appearing as a casserole in a white serving bowl. It was tasty but I am suspect that it came pre prepared and was merely heated prior to serving.
We met friends for lunch and a chat. Since we were there during Covid, we were pleasantly surprised that all precautions were taken to make our visit safe. Since we were in the large room, the noise level was a little high. The food Was very good and our server was very good and accommodating to our needs.
We come here often. Grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is spectacular. Service great. Small disappointment was the dishes we had ordered were served Luke warm to cold asked to heat up the first two courses. Music was for a younger generation. Most of the people there were over 50. Could try matching music to the majority age that show up. We would definitely be going back For special occasions.
Everything was good, but they seemed under staffed. The waitress did her best and I felt she did everything she could, but it was a little slow. But if you have to wait, it is a nice place to be.
Service was prompt and courteous. Food fabulous. Gardens outside added to our enjoyment that evening. We went home satisfied.
Loved our stay. The only suggestion I would have and by no means is this meant to be negative. I thought it would be fantastic in the afternoon while sitting on the beautiful porch there may be a cheese tray available to purchase of local Ingersoll cheese. Maybe a little fruit and a few crackers! Great way to promote local business and a nice afternoon snack.
The food is delicious, but the portion, serving size of main entry is huge per person. I would prefer to get smaller serving size and less expensive.
