   Bread crust was very hard. Soup was very thin and lacked flavour. Roast beef was very good but the roasted potatoes were not thoroughly cooked

   Excellent Menu, perfectly crafted dishes with more than adequate portions, and amazing beverage options. Every part of the meal is made with care, and it shows. A great dining experience set in smaller dining rooms in a very well maintained Victorian House.

   outstanding meal! i had the chef's dinner, 3 courses. i chose caesar salad, prime rib and warm pecan tart. portions were large, i only finished about half of each course. but soo delicious!!

    The food is amazing! The rooms are small and separated so you feel like you’re there alone. The staff is very knowledgeable and very attentive. They have few tables at a time. The wait times are perfect, just enough time to eat your app and have a drink then entree. The portion sizes are good too!

    We went to The Elm Hurst for Valentines Day. Our drive was 45 mins each way. Food was ‘ok’. Nothing special. The best part of our meal was dessert. Caesar salad was lacking in flavour and dressing. Trout portion was very small. The quality of the prime rib was poor. Good portion but the flavour was lacking. The Keg is far superior.

    Great spot as always. Went for valentines day it was great. Halibut cooked perfect, short ribs nice and tender Service was attentive without being intrusive.

    The only drawback to our dinner was the delay from being seated and served drinks....sparkling wine arrived at room temperature...to ordering food. A couple of tables who were seated after us were served before the wait staff came to take our order. When they asked if we were ready to order, I advised we were, and had been for some time. They were astute enough to expedite our meal order. The food was fantastic.

    Chef's 3 course menu for $65 was good value. Very good bread and Caesar salad (for garlic lovers), generous serving of succulent prime rib with good veg and potatoes. I'm a fan of creme brulee, and this was tasty. Classy ambience, friendly service.

    Everything was amazing, except there was either a wedding or celebration being set up that caused quite a bit of noise. Constant door opening and cold air coming into the room. Not sure why during dining hours this was allowed.

    I am big fan of fancy restaurants, since this place is a spa I was expecting some kind of luxury menu and nice facilities. I mean, the place is okay but for the same price you can get really nice diner in some restaurants close by. Definitely I would not come back. No proper for romantic lunch/dinner/brunch.

    Lovely spot for lunch. I expected grander than it actually was, but still very nice. Brunch selections were plentiful and diverse, although the space around the tables was crowded at times. Had to ask for coffee and water refills and were not offered tea, juice or milk.

    Sunday brunch on New Year's Day. Selection not as opulent as it has been in thepast. A little too pricey for value received. Unless you're seated in King Edward or Queen Victoria rooms, ambience leaves to be desired.

    We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at this wonderful Inn. All of the meals arrived hot and delicious. The service was wonderful and we enjoyed chatting with our Servers. Highly recommend trying! We will return.

    My friend and I had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the ambience of beautiful Elmhurst. We both had the Baked Crepes, salad and split a Creme Brulee for dessert.

    This was my first time having lunch at the Inn. I loved it! Great service, excellent food and overall nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend the Elm Hurst Inn to anyone looking for a good meal with good service and an old world charm. I will definitely be coming back again.

    Waitress was good but not great, appreciate to be more attentive, eg. check if coffee cups are empty. A good percentage of guests do prefer freshly grind pepper. Elmhurst has been one of my favorite restaurants for many many years.
