Elm Street Bakery is a family-owned, local bakery/café/market offering whole, seasonal & fresh food in a warm & welcoming environment.
We offer artisan breads, pastries & freshly-roasted coffee in our bakery, and soups, sandwiches & salads in our café. Locally-grown & crafted items are available in our market. Wood-fired pizzas are served for lunch from 11-3:30pm, and at dinner from 5-9pm. Because it is our mission to feature seasonal, locally-grown ingredients, our menu changes regularly.
This is probably the least flattering review I've given ESB. Unfortunately this time drinks slow to be offered/delivered, waitress seemed scattered. All but 2 entrees delivered then an additional 10 min wait for the others. Meatballs were dry, cioppino had minimal seafood for the cost ($21) and finally the waitress had no idea how to settle our bill when given cash and card. I hope this is a one off.
Everything we ate was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
I asked about a pizza and it sounded great,I got the pizza after a few bites it tasted , different, not good.so I stopped the girl and she then told me it had bacon on it.im a vegetarian.she apologize, saying she forget to tell me about the bacon.so she got me a different pizza,
Great delicious creative food.
Wood fired pizza, friendly staff, & unique menu, what more could you ask for? We had pizzas, soups, cheese platter, & a Caesar salad. All were fantastic.
Food was very good. Caesar, and Brussel sprout pizza were my favorite.
On the other side I thought the mussels lacked depth in flavor and were drastically under cooked which grossed me out.
Great place, delicious food. Service was wonderful. Will visit again soon.
The flavors here are a wonderful and different from almost any restaurant in WNY. We always share a bunch of plates so everyone gets a taste of many dishes.
Always Exceptional food and Always hospitable service
Great place for dinner - The food is always delicious and having a menu that always slightly changes keeps it interesting!
Elm street bakery is a shining star! Beautiful atmosphere, unique farm to table dining with exquisite flavors and kind, prompt service. We feel lucky to have such an outstanding dining experience in the Southtowns area. Highly recommend to all!
Delicious as always. Best cheese boards!
We love eating dinner at Elm Street Bakery. It offers delicious pizza, soups, and salads. The staff is very friendly. We also love buying their baguettes and desserts when we don’t go there for dinner.
We have been there many times and always enjoyed it. We were glad to see vegan dishes on your menu. Delish. Thankyou
Food was delicious and shareable. We had a great time!
A wonderful dining experience! Delicious food nice ambience and excellent service. One of our favorite spots to dine in the area!
As always, we had a wonderful evening at Elm Street. Maddy seems to always be our server and she is simply fantastic every time! The food was all delicious, but the Angry Jay pizza could’ve used a lot more peppers, for it being a pepper based pizza it was a little underwhelming in flavor. Other than that everything was great and we will certainly be back to dine again soon.
Love the place, frequent customers for all three meals of the day. We do, however, feel that the pricing for some of the dinner menu items are very steep. Food is always delicious but dinner especially, is not a moderate priced date night. Thanks for all your wonderful foods, keep up the great addition to the East Aurora food scene!
Cute little restaurant that has unique dishes. The other nice part about this place is that the noise level isn’t overwhelming. It’s a little pricey for the size of the plates but overall a very good experience.
So outstanding we went back the next day for lunch!
Always delicious- consistent- fresh and seasonal
Excellent food. Good service. The spaghetti squash bolognese was terrific.
First, our server, Sarah, was excellent: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, attentive without going overboard. The food is always excellent. This time we had the crispy potatoes and ribollita for appetizers and two 6-inch pizzas for entrees: the Angry Jay and the mushroom. I think the Angry Jay will be my new usual. We shared a great bottle of wine: Oddero Barbera D'alba Superiore. This has been our go-to restaurant for a while now. Always a great experience.
As always amazing on all fronts!!!!
A true gem as always.
My boyfriend and I came here for a holiday date this past weekend. The bakery was decorated beautifully and the service was on point. The food was delicious. The only reason why I’m not rating it 5 stars is because it was scorching hot. Literally we were faint and my boyfriend thought at one point he was going to pass out. Some tables were in a near panic because of the heat. The waitress was so apologetic of the temperature and stated it was a real struggle for the restaurant on a continual basis. It’s a shame because everything else was just picturesque.
The Pizza was OK but didn't live up to the hype. We've had far better brick oven pizzas. The French Onion soup was decent but IMO could use more of a beef stock flavor. For $11 it was overpriced. The biggest disappointment was the Tenderloin skewers over Polenta. Neither of us cared for the dish at all. Overall, nothing impressed us enough to want to return.
Great place to meet with my group of girls before our event. Very personable waitress!
One of the finest establishments in the country. The only place to serve breakfast - lunch and dinner ALL with fresh high quality foods - consistantly. The entire staff are professional and match the calm ambiance my wife and I always experience. Not to mention, we drive 30 minutes nearly every week to go there. Great wines too.
Excellent as usual
As usual the food was great. Minimal wait time with reservations. Our server was good initially but then seemed to lose interest in us. She wasnt bad we've just had better there. Hit the dessert bar before we left and I was a little disappointed, last time we bought sweets when they were that close to closing they gave us BOGO deals, not this time, $20 for 2 cookies a granola bar a donut and a lemon parfait.
Was excited to hear they have a new chef. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and it was so nice to enjoy dinner there again.
If you are looking for locally sourced, consistently great food, this is your spot. The atmosphere is very casual and inviting. The food is always good. This is one of our very favorite casual places to go.
Great place for dinner
Elm Street Bakery is the best. Their food, chef prepared, is so adventurous. We love exploring their menu that changes with the freshness and availability of different ingredients. From starters to desserts, the experience is absolutely delicious. We love trying new wines on their wine list, without fear of being overcharged. Each meal is an adventure. The service is so great. They treat us like family. Elm Street Bakery is my favorite!
Lovely dinner, were shown to our table promptly. It was busy, but we felt our waitress(es) were attentive as can be!
Your food is consistently delicious and we love coming for any meal of the day.
Prices are a bit high but we tell ourselves that we are paying for quality and fantastic preparation. Keep up the good work, please do NOT succumb to mediocrity. Many good restaurants do.
Thanks for your great addition to East Aurora's food scene!
Warm and casual place to have hearty healthy food. We love eating lunch and dinner there. The staff is very friendly.
I would tell it like it was. Noisy! Tight, Slower service, Limited choices, Currently the parking not so good,
