It's always a treat to go to Elm Street Taproom. The beer selection is awesome, great place for a hazy IPA from some of the top craft breweries. The food is tasty and comforting. There is currently a lot of outdoor seating which is really nice.

I came here on St Patrick's day. Thanks, I made the reservation. We arrived almost 30 mins (called that I was running late), but we were still able to enter there. I appreciate your flexibility. Otherwise, we had to wait long long line!! The food was ok, I didn't like their fried potato but the pickles were good. Beer? Of course, everything was amazing. I'll come back here soon. Thank you!!!

Had my 30th birthday dinner here the food was awesome!! The beer and cocktails were so good. Really happy with the quality of the food and the prices given how expensive it can be to go out these days. Love the place!

Fish and chips- one small piece of fish. Burned. A mysterious “hospitality administration fee” - excuse me? The menu says it’s not a tax, not a service charge, not a gratuity. Apparently, it’s how this place creates a better environment for its workers after a tough couple of years. Well, if it’s really for the workers, that sounds like a service charge. Maybe invest it in some training for the fry guy

Food was very good. Very nice menu of food and drinks. Noise level is indeed quite energetic. Server staff was maybe over stretched because attentiveness to our table was a bit inconsistent and delivery of items to the table was not super smooth.

Started with one waitress but another came. We found out, I asked, that it was the end of shift for the first waitress. This is fine BUT typically the person would tell you and do a nice hand off. We ordered 4 starters. No plates or silverware. These were finally brought to us after our meals came (45 mins. later) and I asked. Order chicken for nachos. The chicken came but the order for the nachos hadn’t been put in. The waitress did take back the chicken to keep it warm. Never did get my ice. I would go back for the food but would make sure I had a lot of time and patience.

The service, food and beverages were all excellent. We visited for dinner prior to a show at a nearby venue. I highly recommend the Pimento Cheese Burger and Lettuce Wraps. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The Spicy One is also a perfect spicy tequila beverage, which is exactly what I was looking for at the time. The draft list is also quite extensive and impressive, although I didn't choose beer that evening. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that before we left for the show, we asked what time they closed and were told 1am, so we made it a point to return after the show, which was just after 10pm. We were seated with menus, but when our server came to take our drink order, she informed us that the kitchen had just closed at 10. Not a big deal, but I wish we knew that in advance. On the bright side, now I'll just have to return to try the Fried Banana Bread.

Had to update this review - due to being super embarrassed. Went to Elm Street Tap Room last Wednesday 8-3-2022. My friend and his girlfriend wanted to go out and I recommended this place. My friend is from Iowa and he talks like a person from Iowa. We sit at the bar to order drinks. I ordered a paper plane, my buddy keeps looking at menu. Paper plane is served. My friend, in his Iowa accent orders an IPA (Zombie Dust), bar tender looks at him and says "no way buddy not serving you." The bar tender I think thought my friend was intoxicated when really he is just from Iowa. We were both stunned. Bar tender just walked away and would not come back. I was mortified. I recommended this place and bar tender does not seem to understand what a midwestern accent with a drawl is. This was a big oof. We just kinda sat there again stunned at the rudeness and lack of awareness by the bartender. We left and went across the street to the Burren. We had a couple Guinness. The Irish bar tenders seemed to be ok with my friend's Iowa accent and we then had a good night at the Burren. If you are from the mid-west I would say do not go to Elm Street if you are looking for a beer with a buddy. Again, this was super embarrassing, I had talked this place up and we make it our meet up spot for the evening and instantly have to leave to go catch up some where else. There are better places to be in Davis Square than here for food, drink and ambiance.

Appreciate them accommodating when we were delayed in getting there. Called to cancel cause I thought we wouldn’t make it.. but did 30 min later. They pulled up the reservation and sat us right away. The food was ok. The chicken nuggets were barely cooked. Great place, definitely worth trying different menu items.
