Elora Mill Restaurant
The nice location will help ease the pain with the very limited Menu, drinks are highly over priced, staff not concerned with any type of interaction, they are there to do their job.
Not sure we would return
Great spot for date night or a special occasion of any kind!
Elora Mill is our gem on the Grand and we local folks are SO lucky to have a nice place to visit for a special meal.
Beautiful setting for a delicious meal. We enjoyed everything about the Elora Mill, and the surrounding town and nature trails.
My wife and I went to the Elora Mill for our anniversary dinner, and had an exceptional time. The food was excellent, the service was very good, and the ambiance was lovely. We will be back for sure!
The location is beautiful. Food and service needs some work. C’mon Pearle Hospitality you have done this before so no excuses about ironing out the kinks. A chai spiced squash soup tasted like water. No exaggeration it had no taste. It was an 18 dollar bowl of water. Beef bourginon contained a lot of gravy, very little meat and none of the promised root vegetables. When mentioned to the waitress, she said “ya i noticed that as well”. End of conversation. Customer service 101 fail. If you want my repeat business and probably everyone else’s, then you are going to have to do better.
This was our third time dining at the Elora Mill. From start to finish the experience was wonderful! The setting is breathtaking, the facilities are beautifully designed with high quality craftsmanship evident throughout the entire property. The food! What a treat! Inspired by locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, the menu offers something for everyone! We will most definitely return to this fine establishment!
Went for a Eloralicious and was not disappointed. Have a gorgeous view of the gorge. Wait staff was excellent. Enjoyed ourselves very much.
Vegetarian Eloralicious menu items were flavourful and creative. I was skeptical of raddichio as a main, but the dish was fantastic and filling. Service was quick. Only complaint was the corner table has very little lighting. Was rather dark, but beautiful view of the Gorge.
Great meal and fine service for a special event. Found the dinning area loud and not as romantic as expected. I did notice the lounge area was quiet.
I usually love this restaurant but I ordered the burger last time and was very disappointed. It was very blend basically meat, bread and mayo. I’ve been there for brunch and it is usually awesome.
Andrew was outstanding as a waiter- professional.
Ambience and view- excellent!
Decor of the Old Mill- excellent!`
Can't wait to come back!
The food was amazing and the view was spectacular. The service was quick and very knowledgeable.
The food was very good. We were seated at a table with a great view. The server (Carolyn) and the hostess went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
The view and the ambience was wonderful. The soup I had was highly salty. The pasta dish was okay. The schnitzel was a bit too crispy and burnt. The fish was delicious and the vegetarian burger are good choices as well as the pear salad. Cocktails were delicious and presented well.
We the wild boar, tortelloni and a steak with a recommended Californian wine “Justin”. All very good. We would normally play a game of who won the table but all dishes were done to perfection.
I live in Elora and have taken many family members there for lunch and on Saturday, we thorougly enjoyed ourselves...the food we had was wonderful and the Sauvignon Blanc we ordered with lunch was excellent. Thank you.
Great place for a formal dinner. The views from the river side room are spectacular outlining Eloras unique river cutting through the limestone gorge. The food was wonderful. Some traditional as well as some unique dishes to choose from. Everything was cooked perfectly and plated in an appealing fashion. The service is far superior from anything in the Kitchener, Waterloo or Guelph area. Would always recommend.
First time at the renovated Mill ( was there 16 years ago) Took my wife for Valentine's Wonderful experience. Food and drink was excellent as was the courteous and friendly staff. I'm a local and I will be back. BTW the Old Fashioneds are the best!
Service and ambience were great.
Vegetarian options on menu were lacking. As the facility boasts a small carbon footprint these two facts are contradictory.
Incredible service and delicious food. Will be returning without a doubt, you get more then what you pay for. The entire experience was so great
Staff both upstairs and down were all excellent! The view is to die for and the food excellent.
We will be back as we just purchased a unit in the condos being built across the river.
Excellent food, service and spectacular atmosphere! A lunch made extra special!
Absolute spectacular setting IF you can sit in the area overlooking the gorge. Otherwise it's just a restaurant. The curved seating area is very uncomfortable especially if you have back problems. Parking on the Mill side is atrocious. Had to park 6 blocks away. There is parking on the other side of the gorge but the web site does not mention this. The meal was good but lukewarm.
We started with the goats cheese which was so good I could have filled up on just it!! For mains, I had the wild boar and my husband had the osso buco tortellini, both were amazing. Service was impeccable and the view was to die for.
Amazing food and view
This is our second time at the mill & the food, service & atmosphere is suburb! It will be our "go" destination for celebrations etc.
The food was exceptional - from table bread and appetizers to dessert. Service was prompt and professional - the server knew the menu inside and out. I also really like knowing their steak comes from their local farm in Flamborough. We reserved early enough in the evening to ensure we got a seat overlooking the falls - it was beautiful and added tremendously to the experience! I look forward to returning and next time hopefully staying in the attached hotel!
Great food. Great service. A little pricey. Will be back.
Had a wonderful evening. Had drinks at the penstock lounge to start and dinner in dining room after. Bar and dinner personal very accommodating and personable and exceptional food. We are from the area and had friends from out of town. They were very impressed and we all had a very enjoyable evening.
A thank you to all the staff and we will be sure to visit again.
Great atmosphere if you’re looking for a nice dinner. I recommend asking to be seated by the window so you get the nice view.
I ordered the duck. I wasn’t a big fan. Tasted more like pulled pork with some bbq sauce. We also got the tangerine brûlée for dessert which was phenomenal.
Our server was good, seemed sort of awkward. But nice nonetheless.
Overall I would recommend this place, but be ready to pay a high price!
Great girls brunch! Thoroughly enjoyed the food, great service and lovely ambience.
Beautiful setting, staff was excellent and food was delicious.
Needed a Short Getaway
My husband and I wanted to get away for a night. We had business in the area so decided to stay at the Elora Mill Inn and have dinner at the restaurant. It was perfect. The food was exceptional. The service was wonderful and the night time view of the gorge in its icy glory was spectacular. The next morning we had a terrific breakfast in the restaurant before spending the day at the spa, being pampered, swimming outdoors in the heated pool, relaxing in the outdoor hot tub while the snow flakes drifted down. The smell of burning firewood everywhere. Hated to leave.
Thank you for making my friend's birthday celebration so special. We loved the view of the falls, the delicious Arctic char lunch, cranberry and pear gelato dessert paired with a lovely glass of wine, as well as the espresso and complimentary petits fours with chocolate message biding Margaret a Happy Birthday.
Always a spectacular view and ambience at the Elora Mill. Celebrated my husbands birthday on a a Thursday night and the service was excellent. Our server was lovely and engaging as were all others that serviced us in various ways. A tad disappointing was our ribeye steaks for the cost I expected it to be cooked as per request. Slightly overdone and not memorable. The mushroom side dish was delicious. We were Inn guests and repeat diners so we will be back. We used to enjoy the wagu beef they previously had on the menu would be great to see that added once again.
View out of this world. Our server was a delight and the food perfect! And we bought one of the Elora Mill condos - so I guess we will be regulars!
We had a wonderful time.
The food was excellent, the ambiance wonderful.
The Elora Mill is a beautiful property, I think the nicest of the Pearl Hospitality Properties. Service was excellent, food was great, and the view for dinner was very nice. Good value for a fine dining location.
