We both had the halibut and it was excellent. The wine, dessert and coffee was also excellent; as was the service! More variety and more substantial apps would have been nice!

Everything was fantastic except the crème brûlée… it was great , but 12$? Fir a half full small ramekin?! Very bad value. The rest was all wonderful!

I felt, corn soup aside, that my meal was average. The chicken sandwich tasted like a chicken pot pie. Not what I was expecting. The prices are steep. As an aside, I checked out the price of your rooms and was surprised at their cost. But, hey, if you're almost fully booked all the time, go for it!

First timer. Beautiful restaurant. The views are amazing. The food although quite pricy was exquisite and actually filling! The staff are amazing and very attentive. If it is a special occasion they go out of their way to acknowledge that. Out of their hands was a toddler in the restaurant quite vocal but the restaurant can't be blamed - just puts a little damper on what is a special occasion. Baby section? lol

Very limited options for food. The only water available was tap water. The waiter was not willing to accommodate any request, such as changing the sweet bread with regular bread. To bad they have such nice setting and surrounding.

First time dining experience at the Elora Mill. Our table was downstairs overlooking the river. Great view, attentive staff without being intrusive. Quiet surroundings for casual conversation. Not sure how often the menu changes but saw enough offerings to want to come back and try.

The trout that I ordered was served skin facing up. The fish was dry around the edges. I felt it was overcooked. The vegetables were very good and the sauce was excellent. My date ordered the Farm fresh salad. Her comment was that some of the greens were limp. She was expecting fresh greens with some crunch to them. We both were expecting a high quality in our plates. The service was very good and the ambience excellent.

The restaurant is nestled in the beautiful area of Elora Ontario with a breathtaking view of the gorge and water. Our table was set in a floor to ceiling glass viewing area which made for a fabulous ambiance. The waiters were welcoming and very polite, the chef welcomed us on the way into the restaurant which was a nice touch. This takes us to the food, which I must say was underwhelming for both my wife and I. The food was bland and lacked flavour. Considering the price and other reviews, we were quite disappointed. We both got the 4 course tasting, we each received different dishes. Out of the 8 dishes served, we enjoyed 3. The 3 that we enjoyed would be average plates in any good restaurant, may not even make the menu. The halibut main dish was well cooked but may have been the blandest meal I ever had. I hope they can figure out a better menu with execution to take advantage of what is otherwise a wonderful experience.

The location is fantastic, the service was okay. The food could have been great but my meal was not cooked properly and when the server asked if everything was alright I told them my poached egg was more like a hard boiled egg and they replied saying that is the way it's made. Overall we still had a great time and we'll be back but I won't be ordering the same dish again.

Fantastic experience. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with the 4 course chef experience and wine pairing. Not only did my partner have a fantastic gluten free meal (due to allergies), the wine pairings were separately made especially for her meal. We're very impressed, will recommend to friends and family, and will be back.

Fantastic view, ambience and service. Food was underwhelming relative to the reviews and hype. Out of the 7 dishes: 2 appetizers, 3 mains and 2 deserts for 3 people, only 1 appetizer (hummus dip) and 1 main (grass-fed beef burger) are what I consider standing out dishes. The others are mediocre, especially the most expensive item on the menu, the short rib, very small portion, also dry and a little chewy, totally not what you would expect from an establishment like this. If I ever have the need to come back again, it would be for a light appetizers and drinks event for the benefit of the view and setting, not for a big meal.

the food was amazing, the service was even better. We were treated with a glass of sparkling wine at the beginning of dinner, as it was our anniversary. After dinner Shay the manager took us on a private tour of the wine room downstairs, we will definitely be returning for one of the winetasting evenings.

Great location on the gorge. Would be perfect if not for the large development under construction across the river. Menu is limited but food and beverages are excellent. Wait staff is very courteous and attentive.

While we were staying at the Elora Mill Hotel, we dined at the restaurant for Dinner and for the Mimosa breakfast. We also ordered room service dessert and breakfast. We very much enjoyed the mimosa breakfast, it was our favourite food, as well as the dessert, eaten there. The complex flavours, but richness, and bold flavours were fresh and fantastic. As for the dinner, it was good, but for the price, we weren't very impressed. While the food was good, we felt for the price, the taste of the food was mediocre for dinner. But overall, the view of the restaurant the floor to ceiling window overlooking the gorge was beautiful. As well, the staff were so great, Liz and Daniel were so kind and amazing. Kendra the somolia was so knowledable.

It is one of the best dinners we have ever had. The service was amazing and the food was to die for. At the end of our meal, our server took us into the kitchen so we could see where the food is prepped and the chef + kitchen staff were extremely friendly. We will absolutely be returning for another dinner.
