   Fantastic food and service. Pretty pricey but worth it. We had the steak dinner for two and it was plenty. Had a table facing the gorge and it was breathtaking

   Great tasting experience with Muga wines! Fabulous pairings and wonderful information from Manu Muga himself. Very unique experience in Elora’s beautiful wine cellar. The food was outstanding as well as the top level service. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

   Spectacular. Fun and educational event with Spanish wine maker Muga. Food pairing prepared by Chef Dacha was a perfect match. The setting of the wine cellar was impressive. Outstanding service by The Mill’s “A Team”. I hope there will be similar wine maker/food pairing events in future.

    Lovely location and tables with great view if you are lucky and the service is very good. Food quality is so-so relative to price. My burger was almost cold, salted ice cream is a mistake, and guests who had lobster roll, trout and chicken did not use superlatives when asked for comment.

    First time there and weren’t disappointed. Beautiful building with so much history. Staff were exceptional, everyone cheerful. Mathew was our server and was perhaps the best one we’ve ever had. Friendly and knowledgeable about not only the restaurant, but the area too. Gave us as much time to peruse the menu and wine list, and was ready to answer any questions we had. He also sent the sommelier to us to discuss more wines than were on the wine list, and gave us samplings. I’m having a seniors moment and forget his name, but really appreciated what he did. We ordered a dinner for 2, 25 ounce ribeye steak, with all the trimmings served home style with the plates all on the table and we took what we wanted. Everything was great, cooked perfectly and very tasty. Coffee and desert were a perfect ending to a fabulous birthday dinner. It was pricey, but our thoughts are that great food is worth paying for. One thing that was a bit of a hassle, was where you have to park for the inn. It is quite a hike and if it’s raining it would be very uncomfortable getting there. They do validate your parking, and I wish they had reminded me when I was leaving. After the long walk back to the car I wasn’t going back to get it validated. All in all, a perfect evening.

    We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant and were treated like royalty! Our server Shay was treated us to one if the best restaurant experiences we have had. She was attentive and friendly and made us feel welcome. Outstanding! Food was delicious!

    Enjoyed everything about the experience. There isn't a better view in Ontario. Food and beverages were above expectations. Great service. And my guests had no trouble with conversation even though they are on the verge of requiring hearing aids. I will definitely be back.

    The Elora Mill is an excellent location, with beautiful views from the dining room windows. The staff are very attentive and friendly, not intrusive but there when required. We arrived a little early for our reservation; there was a nice lounge area where we would have been happy to wait, but they were able to accommodate us right away. The food was very good. Overall we were happy with the presentations, the unique flavour combinations, using locally sourced ingredients. There is an extensive wine list, with a good selection of wines by the glass, as well as full bottles. We were not in a hurry, so we did not mind the pauses between each course (we had the Chef's four-course dinner) and in fact the relaxed pace of the meal enhanced our evening together.

    It has a gorgeous view, the service is very good, the wine list is extensive and there are several somewhat moderately priced options. The three times we have been there for lunch the food has also been very good. For a setting of that calibre they could probably do with better bread, but it is gratis. This time we had the Steelhead Trout and the Steak Frites, We thought the trout was a much better. Actually the trout was superb.

    We arrived about 25 minutes early and we were seated right away regardless. And to a beautiful view nonetheless. The restaurant staff are nothing short of spectacular. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. Perhaps next year for our 20th, we’ll make it a complete getaway.

    What a gem! First, this is one of the coolest little towns in Canada and worth a visit for that reason. But, while you're there, you owe it to yourself to see the Mill and enjoy this restaurant. The only things more exceptional than the view overlooking the gorge, is the food and the service staff. This is pure first class dinning.
