Elora Mill Restaurant
Fantastic reno! and decor! Bravo Pearle! Hope to visit at least once a season.
Enjoyed the generous servings of greens with our entree. The menu is interesting and seasonal too.
The spa and wedding venue look awesome too. Someday !
Stunning venue with wonderful food and service!! Would definitely recommend!
We booked the restaurant at the mill for my mothers 77th birthday . The food was great and the view was spectacular. We would definitely come back
This is a gorgeous restaurant. Great view, great service and the foods are good too!
I would only recommend his restaurant for the setting. The menu was very limited and the prices were high and portions were small. The server was very knowledgeable and was very nice!
Lovely setting, excellent service. Food is good..very fresh. Menu choices are limited, would prefer more choices.
The renovated restaurant is attractive and scenic. The dining area is pleasant and not too noisy. Service was good but not outstanding. The same can be said of the food. One of us had a pork terrine starter which was quite tasty. The heirloom tomato salad that the other diner had was not as good. Some of the tomatoes were overripe. One of the party ordered a burger. The meat was not seasoned well and the trimmings were mostly lettuce. The other member of the party ordered a meat brochette which she said was quite good. In both cases, though, the accompanying french fries were disappointing, soft and soggy. In terms of value, the experience was overpriced.
Amazing. The view was outstanding and the service and food was incredible. Will definitively go back and include a spa day. And the bonus of walking around the quaint town of Elora
The service was outstanding and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful
This venue has undergone significant renovations and upgrades since we were last here. Our lunch party was seated beside the wall of glass and had a spectacular view overlooking the gorge and the rushing water below. The service and the ambience were fabulous. The only disappointment was that the menu choices were fairly limited. Regardless, despite the 75 minute drive, we think it’s worthwhile going there again simply for that awesome view!
2nd time there. Steak truly is excellent and surprisingly reasonable. Ambience magnificent with the waterway as a view!
Elora Inn has always been an excellent location in the Elora gorge but the new renovations bring this location to a new level. Elora Inn is now our new go-to restaurant for special occasions or that special evening.
Everything was top notch - food quality, views, service, ambiance. Very relaxing place to have a nice meal. I had the veggie burger and it was so well made. The portion was great as well, just the right amount of fries. Would highly recommend!
The views are fantastic and the food was extremely delicious! The sommelier was very entertaining and knowledgeable about his wines and pairings. We will definitely visit again!
We had the pork chop which turned out to be a great choice. Not only was the chop perfectly prepared (juicy, tasty & very good texture) but the accompaniments nicely complimented the meal. While not a fan of either kale or corn bread, the chef's treatment of these were really delicious. We added the warm potato salad that did not disappoint (enough for two) - and took home a big portion of leftovers that our daughter enjoyed over two additional meals. Chef Nishimura and team did a very good presentation of local fare treated with respect. We picked this anniversary special outing as much for the ambiance as the food and the room with gorge views were outstanding. Special kudos to all the staff who were all pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable - special mention for the young man who was on the hotel reg desk - arranged the shuttle back to our car - stayed with us until it arrived and was thoroughly entertaining while "selling" us on a return visit to stay in the inn.
The hotel was very nice with a dinning room that had a nice view of the river and gorge. However, we had reservation for 1:30 but were not seated till 2 and finally received our dishes at 3. Way to long to wait when our group had 2 diabetics. Server advised and brought 4 slices of bread for 4 people.
Extremely busy and service was very slow due to 2 weddings and a long weekend crowed. The menu was small with hardly any choices, certainly not for hungry people. The meat dishes which should of been beef and lamb turn out to be no lamb (they ran out) blend dry beef with burned french fries. In fact 3 dishes had French fries and they were all burnt. The hamburgers were mediocre and the soup lacked ingredient and spices.
The air conditioning was full blast and by the time the waitress was advised and the air was turned down we were all frozen. Noise was so loud that our table of 4 could not carry a conversation. Not happy, waist of our money and certainly will not recommend this place for food.
Beautiful view, great service and delicious food in a cute little town.
I felt that it was a little overpriced for a breakfast.
I wrote a lower value because it seemed to be a little overpriced.
Delicious breakfast with a fantastic view of the gorge!
We tried the poached eggs and avocado a lighter version of Bénédicte, the home made jams and marmalade were outstanding!
The terrine and lobster tartine were both delicious. Service was professional and attentive. The view is exceptional!
Cadre magique et délicieux petit-déjeuner sauf le cappuccino.... possiblement éduquer le personnel pourrait améliorer le service, le seul bémol à notre séjour!
Overall the view and setting with the sun setting was incredible. A few concerns with respect to customer service, our entrees were rushed as I had not finished my appetizer before they arrived, the steaks were more on the well done side and there was an error on our bill (added drink that we didn't order). The sommelier made an excellent choice in wine for pairing with dinner. The dessert menu is limited for a restaurant of this caliber and I would recommend it have more options. Overall, it was a bit more disappointing than I had anticipated.
I really liked the attention to detail and excellent service. I required accessible seating and parking. The person at the front gate knew my name and I had a perfect parking spot.
It was a lovely seat in the restaurant.
It was an amazing experience. The ambience is quite romantic, I loved the location and the decor. At first I was a little worried about the food as I was not sure however once the food was served we could not keep our hands off the table. The staff is very kind n knowledgeable. Overall it was a classy experience.
Great meal and view. Waitress was not the type of waitress you should have serve you in a place like this. The other waitresses around us seemed on point. Will be going back (hopefully different waitress). Would recommend!
Don't come here for dinner if you're actually hungry. I was, unfortunately. Ordered the Caesar salad for starters - the salad was nice, but the dressing was bland (Caesar dressing should have *some* flavour, shouldn't it?). Ordered the Cornish hen for the main - got three teeny tiny bits of chicken (nicely grilled and spiced, mind you), a small handful of assorted vegs and three tablespoons of pea puree. Sorry, this is NOT a main course - it's even smaller than an appetizer at most restaurants - maybe qualifies as an "amuse bouche". I was still hungry, so I ordered the terrine appetizer as a second "main" course, simply to remove the feeling of an empty stomach. The terrine was OK, but the accompanying tiny vegs were odd - hot peppers with terrine??
Last year I came here with some friends and one of them ordered a "ravioli" plate for her main course - believe it or not, she got a SINGLE piece of ravioli on her plate with a tiny amount of other fixings. We still joke about the "raviolo" meal at the Elora Mill and I should have known better than to come back here.
Great views of the gorge. Excellent service, great food and ambiance.
Positives: food tasted amazing, extensive wine and cocktail list, excellent service, beautiful view, they compensated us with free dessert and drinks because of....(see negatives)
Negatives: beautiful windows but they were in need of a cleaning, found a hair in the mushrooms, steak a was little overdone although still tasted great
Always take friends from out of town and they love the food and the fantastic view
Beautiful view, lovely atmosphere, delish food and elegant yet comfortable surroundings.
Loved the view from the room of the gorge. Temperature of room was nice. Noise level was quiet so we could hear each other and not feel we were intruding on other conversations either. Food was very good, a bit too much garlic for me, but nice portion size, ( places that make up for quality with quantity take away my appetite), great presentation, lovely taste combinations and colour combinations. Place settings complemented the food. I had the terrine, and a pasta dish. Together, I felt I had protein, vegetable and carb. It is also nice that food is made in house so that the components of the foods are controlled by the chef. We had one person who cant eat soy so she was pretty happy. One suggestion for desserts : all of your desserts are high sugar and fat dishes, and a fruit option would be something I would order. Many of your guests who are older will be diabetic these days, so that a fruit option would be marketable I think. How long do poached pears keep? That sort of thing.
Nice view, nice food and nice services. I like the fusion of Asian & Western style.
Definitely one of the best variety of vegetables I have had at a fine dining restaurant and with the most unique, grilled flavour. I would definitely go back again!
Top notch chef
Special skills for mixology
Pastry chef outstanding.
Best meal I’ve been out to all year including expensive downtown toronto restaurants
Good date night, we stopped by after tubing the river, which was awesome!
Picture perfect amazing! Had a wonderful evening here for my girlfriends birthday😊💕
We had a lovely lunch with excellent service and great food. The room temperature on a very hot day was a little cool for all four of us. Also, more vegan options, please.
La nourriture est excellente. Le cadre est très agréable et reposant. Mon seul regret tient au fait que la carte du déjeuner soit peut variée.
I think that there was too much time spent on presentation and being unusual, that it impacted the quality of the meal actual ingredients.
