in the heart of Little Italy in the Bronx.
It is the perfect place to relax before or after a show, a Yankee game, a trip to the Bronx Zoo,
or a walk in New York Botanical Gardens.
You will come as a guest and leave as one of the family!
Awesome experience one of my favorite restaurants on Arthur Avenue. Wonderful service, delicious food and a great ambience. Loved it.
We always enjoy their backyard patio. There was only one other table occupied. We started with the zucchini flowers stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella. They were tasty but very oily. The house salad came without dressing. The bread was delicious and crusty and was served with shredded cheese and spicy herbs. The branzino was very delicious and the chicken Arthur Avenue was prepared with broccoli rabe and melted mozzarella and it was excellent. Pumpkin cheesecake was a wonderful dessert. I wish the restaurant served non alcoholic beer. The expresso martini was perfection!
Ate outside in their courtyard in the back of the restaurant. Quaint and away from the hubbub of Arthur Avenue. Food and service were wonderful. Will be back.
Excellent service and ambiance! Great sangria!
Great Meal, Classic Arthur Av experience.
Great for special occasions, Great for any occasion, really!
Delicious pasta, great drinks and desserts! Waiter was super busy and very nice
We ate there a few years ago. We tried IT AGAIN, ns we were not disappointed. The food wine bread and dessert was amazing. Enjoyed it. I wish i lived closer so I could visit more often
Walked from Fordham campus, staff very friendly & food was excellent! Loved the homemade pasta!
We specifically reserved an outside table, but they tried to seat us inside, right at the front door. Outside there was an incredibly loud street fair going on. Once we were seated in the patio, all was great. Just a bit tacky, at first.
After a beautiful day at the New York Botanical Garden, we ate at Emilia's Restaurant. Dinner was delicious. I rarely eat pasta anymore (because it makes me fat), but I feel if I'm going to eat it, I want to eat the best. Emilia's was the best. The service was excellent. The next time I go to Arthur Avenue, I'll definitely be eating at Emilia's Restaurant.
Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant that we chose on our NY trip to drop our son at college!
Wonderful food in a gracious dining room with excellent service.
Waiter Claudio was professional
The food is undeniably the best on Arthur Avenue. We only had appetizers this time because we wanted to have time to walk around before the shops closed, but next time I will order apps and entrees as well which are amazing! The owners are family and they treat you like family. Our server was just a tad on the slow side in checking on us, but we were socializing and relaxing after our 7 mile walk at the NY Botanical Gardens so it was fine. I highly recommend Emilia's as the best restaurant on the avenue!! Go and enjoy it!!
Good was ok. Stuffed artichoke was dry.
Had a large family gathering event there. The service and food were great. Everything ordered arrived on time and was delicious. Highly recommend when visiting Arthur Avenue
Excellent second time around. Espressotini is delicious. Manager is very personable and makes sure you are comfortable.
The food and ambiance was great but the service was not. My daughter and I constantly waited long periods for our waiter to attend us.
Amazing food . We will definitely be back!
Overall food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Chicken Dishes. I had chicken Arthur Ave and it was excellent.
Appetizers were great as well
Delicious & unusual pasta, heavenly short ribs , super service, clams oregenata disappointed.
I will keep on going back to Emilia’s.
I thoroughly enjoy eating there.
Fabulous dinner after the Bronx Zoo for my family of 7 adults & 3 little ones. The back patio was the perfect setting for our big group and the food and service was great! Will definitely return!
Fantastic lunch on the back patio, the homemade pastas are amazing, especially the spinach fettucini with pancetta and roasted cauliflower.
Lovely heated patio was very comfortable inspite of the chilly weather; staff was lovely; and food was delicious.
Unfortunately though this restaurant was recommended by a friend we were very disappointed. Veal parmigiana was dry and overcooked. The stuffing in the artichoke was dry and tasteless. The rice ball again dry and overcooked. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp was inedible as the prosciutto was hard. I picked the shrimp out and ate that but it wasnt tasty at all. Normally I would return a meal that I wasn’t satisfied with giving the restaurant another chance to prepare it as we all have bad days or an item goes out from the kitchen that isn’t up to standard. However in this case all three of us were unhappy with our meals and agreed we wouldn’t be going there again. Also despite the fact that we left most of the food on our plates, no one questioned why or even inquired if we enjoyed our meal. I don’t blame the servers for this oversight I blame poor management
A delicious and memorable family dinner. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We commend Emilia's to anyone looking for an excellent meal while visiting Fordham.
Our favorite restaurant on Arthur Avenue. After over a year of Covid-19 quarantine this was our first time back. Other than a few changes to the menu it was as good as always. Feels like we’re back to normal!
10th birthday party on back terrace early in the evening. Food, atmosphere and wait staff were all excellent.
Presentation was lovely but no taste. The linguine w clam sauce was bland as was the fish. We told owner and he said they cook differently but to try the pear tart then they charged us $12 for it. Outrageous
The service was a little slow at first, but then wait staff and owner came over often to check on us. Food was delicious! Definitely will go again.
Mouthwatering Italian delights. Expertly prepared. We've been coming back for years and the experience is still fantastic.
Food amazing and the servers super kind. Definitely recommend going and dining.
Good food and atmosphere!
The outdoor patio had a nice ambiance and the food was very good. I had the lobster ravioli and I licked my plate clean. However it took a very long time for the waiter to come to our table as he was having a long conversation with the customers next to our table. But overall I would recommend Emilia’s for the food.
First time in a restaurant in one year because of covid-19.
We wanted Emilia's to be the first restaurant we went back to and we drove two hours to get there.
The food , ambience, service , hospitality were all excellent.
Wonderful. We will go back!
Cute place, delicious food, patio is really nice!
We were from out of town and booked reservations for an extended family dinner. Reservations online were easy to do. They were so accommodating, the food was delicious, service friendly and they set us up in a semi-private area of the restaurant. It couldn’t have been better. We left well satisfied with all.
