   Our server Danielle was wonderful. The cheapest Chianti was a bottle for $78.00 - ridiculous for this type of establishment. The restaurant was out of gluten free crust, which it advertises and was the reason we went for one of our party’s dietary needs. We probably will not return.

   Came for the vegan options for a 5:30 reservation. Was told they wouldn’t have vegan crust until 8:30. Took a long time to receive the one non-vegan pizza for my mom. It sat at the bar and I had to wave down the bartender to give it to us. They were also out of a bunch of cocktail ingredients…just a frustrating bust of an outting.

   We never received our appetizers. Server took 20 min to come to our table and left drinks sitting on bar. Pizza took close to 1 hr to be delivered. When we asked the server she became argumentative and surly. Food wasnt bad but with this service I dont recommend going there.

    I love the food at Emmy Squared. It seemed understaffed last night. Service was disappointing-which I don’t blame on my server. She was being pulled behind the bar and every which way. Management should do better.

    Short staffed (2 servers) and the kitchen messed up our pizza toppings not once but twice. We got out with a free pizza to go which helped the experience all around. The pizza was really good! I’m a big Detroit style fan. I’d go back and order to go. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

    We had a large crowd and they sat us in the back of the restaurant which was fine, although we didn’t know we were right next to an exterior door that was opened and closed for patrons. The server was excellent, I think he was working the floor alone. He was polite, friendly and helpful especially with two water spills.

    We actually didn’t even get a chance to eat. We had a reservation but waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us, even after we watched them seat the people directly in front of us at the host stand. Staff seemed less than thrilled that we were there. We ordered drinks but were told that the kitchen was extremely backed up. When our drinks were delivered, we asked about the back up and were told “I asked the manager and the kitchen but they don’t tell us anything.” We asked for the check for our drinks at that point. Waited 10 minutes and the check never came. Left cash on the table and left and will never be back.

    Waiting 2 hours after we ordered to get our food. Even the salad and French fries took 2 hours. When we got the pizzza it wasn’t cooked all the way. The dough was still sticky. It was not appetizing. Won’t be back

    I will start by saying our meal was partially comped by the manager after we complained. We had to wait a half hour past our reservation, not a huge deal since it was a Saturday and busy, but when other parties that walk in after you that had reservations at the same time but check in after you(they we late) get sat before you, that’s slightly frustrating. Took over 20 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and we all thought they were awful. How you mess up a margarita, 3 sangria’s and an old fashioned in Kentucky is beyond me. Our appetizers took an hour and half to be prepared and at that point we were about to cancel our food when one of the pizzas was delivered, the runner set the pizza down, said “I don’t know what this is, but here you go.” It took another 30 minutes for the other 4 entrees to be delivered to the table. At that point we had already asked for boxes. The one burger that was ordered was not supposed to have cheese but of course it did, but at that point it wasn’t even worth saying anything, we just wanted to leave. Four of my guests are in town on a business trip and I choose this place as it looked fun and the food looked good. It was an awful experience and I’ve only mentioned the food. Not the fact we were sat by the back door(it’s cold out at 8pm with the door constantly opening) that 10 little girls opened every other minute running in and out while there parents sat a few tables over getting hammered having the time of their lives clearly forgetting they had children until one of them ran in bleeding. I’m embarrassed I choose this place. Like I said the manager comped part of the bill, and from the looks of it she had to that for other tables. Unfortunate evening.

    We were there for an hour and a half and never received our pizza or salads. Our waitress was apologetic but informed us our food wasn’t coming any time soon. We had show tickets and had to leave without eating. No one around us had their food either. When I asked the manager about our order, she couldn’t have cared less. Will never go there again.

    Every time we eat here or try to eat here, the wait staff is so rude. The food isn’t worth the effort. One time we went in and were told that since we didn’t have a reservation, we couldn’t sit outside, on a nice day. I immediately got a reservation, while standing in front of her, and the host rolled her eyes when I told her we had reservations. This last time we had reservations and they wouldn’t let us sit outside. Every place else was seating people outdoors. Not worth dealing with these AHs.

    Perhaps I just schedule the wrong night but last two visits service has been lacking. With reservation stood unattended at hostess station for 5 or so minutes then around 15 minutes until waiter even came to table to welcome, order drinks, etc. pizza wasn’t also up to what I remember. Far greasier than previous visits. So perhaps an off night but not unlike previous visit. Shame too as the first few visits we were blown away by experience.

    The pizza and my sangria was disgusting worst Detroit style pizza I ever had no sauce on top just disgusting. The server was excellent and went out her way to get all I needed to try to make it taste better that was the only good thing. Would not return.

    We waited an hour for 2 pizzas when the restaurant was only about a third full. Our waitress asked us if we were ready to order 3 different times- each time we said yes- only to have her say she would be back. Same thing happened when we were finished and needed boxes. It was absolutely freezing inside- to the point my kids were shivering- and the appetizers were just ok.

    Pizza was good, especially the edge of the crust and sausage on the Big Al. Prices felt a tad high for what was provided, burger was $16-19 without any sides as an example. Service held the experience back. Took 15 minutes to get two cans of root beer, then 20 minutes to get a can of coke. At the end of the meal, it then took 45 minutes (and asking three different people) just to get the bill. Whole experience took 1 hour and 45 minutes somehow.
