We went for the pre-show menu, and it was realistically not worth it. The food was tasty but laughably small in portion size. The starter was good, the salmon was moist but maybe a 3oz piece on a very small portion of mashed potatoes. When it came out i was honestly stunned that the portion size was deemed appropriate. My partner had the parpadelli pasta which was better portioned but nothing special. For desert we had the tiniest slivers of cake I've ever seen. We also had 2 cocktails to start, which were advertised at 18$ on the drink card (already steep) but charged for 22$ a piece. Overall, for 2 people we paid just over 200$. I would have rather gone for a steak dinner knowing that I would pay that much and come away hungry. The music was also way too loud to have a conversation, at 7pm there's no need for club-loud music. Disappointing experience.

The service was fantastic. They catered to all the food, allergies and limitations beautifully and made this fantastic hot sauce right in the kitchen. The food was all right for most. Their gnocchi was absolutely delicious and not to be missed. Their cocktails were fantastic too.. and it’s amazing how they change the dinner set up to a club setting , the music and environment are very eclectic and buzzing with energy. I feel it is more for a club less a dinner spot . But I would give the service seven stars if I could . I think it would be a great club night out with friends very memorable.

Reserved for pre-theatre dinner. Good value for pre-set menu. Food was delicious. Kale salad was a nice portion and very good. Calamari was tasty. Our mains were also good portions and very well prepared. Enjoyed a wonderful bottle of french bordeaux 2016 wine... however it should have been decanted as it had sediment at bottom. Servers were attentive and personable. Not many diners, but we had a nice window seat for people watching. Recommend for a romantic dinner for two.

Excellent service! We went with the prefix 3 course theatre special of $55/person. Great options. Food was delicious. Dessert serving was quite small. Only draw back to the meal. Great ambiance. Were given a window seat with a great view of Roy Thompson Hall. Overall great dining experience. Would recommend.

Not worth the money. The place was empty which should have been our first hint. Food was very blah. Not sure if they are trying to be fine dining or a nightclub, but they aren’t succeeding at either. Wouldn’t recommend based on that. The service was great, our waiter was really lovely

I would highly recommend this restaurant...one of the nicest experiences I have had in a long time! The decor, music, sound system, service and food were all outstanding. The pre-show dinner menu was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The flavours of the food were unique and delicious. I had delicious gnocchi with edible gold and the best chocolate hazelnut cake I have ever had!! I would say best dessert I have ever had. Marcus was a fantastic server. We so enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!

It is my 41st birthday🎉 and its phenomenal experience. Our server Stacy is amazing. The food is so good... I ordered the steak and its like butter. So soft and its not chewy even it is medium my steak. Never like new York steak and this is he only place I will eat New York steak. My friend chicken dish is also so soft and delicious🤤 And we would like to say thank you for the Chef for the amazing cake🎂!! For sure we will be back again!!

Went for dinner before show, a party of 4 - loud music so almost shouting, constantly repeating to staff, even tho they had pre theatre dinner menu. Had kale salad - good. Salmon slathered in spicy sauce 2cm thick, gross. Very small portions. Fine dining prices without atmosphere or food. Service was friendly, enthusiastic but untrained in fine dining and dressed as if they were serving in a sleazy after hours nightclub. Save your money

A new restaurant for our theatre night. The theatre menu had options for everyone and was very reasonable priced as was the wine list Service was quick and the staff very friendly. As this more of a place for the late night crowd the noise level was low so we could talk without yelling. Definitely would go back

Terrible place. Half the ‘show menu’ options were not available, and we were not told when given the menu. Food quality was really average. No bread. No pasta available (and it’s an Italian restaurant!) and desert was likely coming directly from the refrigerated section of a grocery store (you know the cakes under plastic containers?). Music was awfully loud (and they kept increasing it, as if to make some tests). A never to be repeated experience. You have been warned.

A relatively new restaurant that needs some work. Across from our table was a tv, that continued to play a series of photos about the restaurant; it was quite a distraction. The biggest issue for us was that they charged $3 per glass of soda water. Seriously? The waiter did not tell us that, and I saw $15 on the bill, I was quite surprised. We could have bought a large bottle of Pellegrino for less. Their wine list is also quite weak, and their chardonnay was not cold enough and was a tad sweet. A lot of work needed. We most likely won't be back.

Had tremendous window seat but was put off by all the bird droppings on the windowsill. Salad portion was tiny as well as the dessert serving. Extremely limited wine selection with only two types of wine offered by the glass. I We were there on a Saturday Theatre night, there was 6 other diners, and I counted 10 staff wandering around or hanging out at the bar. The restaurant decor and atmosphere has a real nice feel to it, but food and wine did not come through for us.

One of the worst places I’ve been to in a long time. The waitress was beyond inconsiderate, impolite and inattentive. To give a few tibits: the dinner was forgotten to be punched in and the hill too 40 minutes to come to the table with many mistakes.

We visited on Wednesday evening at 7:30 and there was only one other table occupied. We were disappointed that it was so empty. The service was excellent, likely because the server had very little else to do. The food was disappointing. The chicken was tasty but dry.

What an exceptional experience! From the moment we walked in the attention was unlike any other place. The food was delicious we had steak, pasta and seafood platter. Great value and ambiance. Definitely will come again soon!

We had another fanastic meal at the Empire Supper Club last night. Marcus our server was extremely attentive and polite the entire evening. The food was absolutely delicious as it was on our first visit, and the cozy atmosphere sitting next to the front window overlooking King St. and Roy Thomson Hall, gave us a wonderful meal throughtout our amazing evening there. Marcus even asked what music we would like to hear during dinner as he recognized we were not electronic music fans and changed the music to Christmas Carols as we had requested. Would highly recommend this place to everyone! Thank you to the Chef, Marcus and the rest of the wait staff there. Cheers! :)
