I love this restaurant and have been a patron for 10+ yrs. Yesterday was a ridiculous waste of time that could have been avoided. Prior to arriving to the restaurant I called to let them know I was running 10 min. behind, upon arrival I was greeted and sat as if nothing was wrong. Once sat, I waited for a waiter to come and they just brought water over at this point and r had been there for at least 15 minutes, when finally a waiter I know there saw me and came over to let me know the health inspector was there and the kitchen was temporarily closed but should be back open shortly when in reality after we ordered 2 drinks etc 45 min later we were told the kitchen was closed and we needed to find elsewhere to eat, mind you it was 9:55 at this point and 99% of the kitchens in the area all close at 10 pm and we just spent over $100 on drinks waiting to be able to order. All of this could have been avoided if when I called saying I was running late, the manager or maître d’ told me what was going on and I could have actually had a nice dinner elsewhere.

Great experience. The food, and ambiance were great. I loved the Menegi Toro, and spicy Chutoro rolls. My cocktail was amazing (I believe it was the one with apricot vodka). Our server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Would definitely go back.

I spent a week researching the best restaurant for my birthday and EN did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was stunning and had a great atmosphere. The staff was amazing, they walked us through each of the dishes, shout out to Sunny. And of course the food was unbelievable. All together we ordered the wagyu, udon, fried chicken (which I can not recommend enough), some sushi, steamed veggies, the sweet potatoes, soba tea pudding, and truffle ice cream… all of which I will be dreaming of until I’m back at EN! I highly recommend booking a reservation!

Wait staff was pretty rude to my girlfriend. Literally walked away while we were ordering to help another table. Drinks were given about 15 minutes apart. Not really the best way to toast an anniversary. Received the wrong order. Timing between dishes was horrible. Ordered 4 things and three came out at the same time, so enjoying them without rushing was impossible. Food is good, but not worth the price if they treat you like you are at an Outback. Might come back and just sit at the bar, but not anytime soon.

We ordered our usuals but it didn’t taste the same. The kids really wanted to go back to eat the stone grilled chicken. It used to come out hot sizzling, juicy, flavorful and crispy on the skin. It was disappointing. We also had the grilled salmon collor. It was tasteless, overcooked and not flavorful.
