Likely would not return. Food was great, although when leaving was served an allergen of which the restaurant was made aware and reacted with negligence. Took 5 days to receive an apology. Poor handling of the situation, do not feel as though anything was resolved.

Food, service, and atmosphere are good and flawless, as expected. The only thing I'm unhappy with is that the drink charge extra in addition to prepaid amount. Maybe make it MORE clear that alcohol pairing is not included in prepaid when your waiter communicate with customers.

Amazing experience. Incredible attention to detail on every aspect from service, presentation and most importantly the food. Even though it's very expensive, the level of efforts makes me think it's good value.

The experience here is outstanding. Each dish was carefully thought out from the source of the ingredients, to the presentation, the colour, the flavour and textures. The service was thorough, staff had extensive knowledge of the drinks and the pairings were on point. The drinks itself was a treat, each one complimented the dish by either providing a similar vibe to it or a different contrast to make you want to eat more. Overall, I would recommend to going to Enigma, it was a pleasant experience.

Outstanding food and service. Highly recommend for special occasions. I think they should have a dress code however. This is a five star dining establishment. Fine dining at its finest. There should be no place for students in T-shirts and running shoes.

Food, service, attention to details, ambience, surprises is superb. Knowing the duck was tendered at 1.2 degrees Celsius on hay for 2 weeks makes the price for our 8 courses taste menu "affordable". Ulf Caap

Brought my bf here for a surprise bday dinner. We had the 8 course tasting menu and wine pairing. Everything was very good and service was excellent. We were grateful to the staff for keeping us from being intimidated eating at such a fancy restaurant. Thank you for making it a memorable bday for him!

Wonderful experience. Just a joy. The food was exceptional but we expected that...but I love it when the service is excited about creating the experience for diners. We were attended by many folks, and it was a pleasure (and tons of fun) to listen to their words about absolutely everything. Would love to return.

Absolutely loved Enigma. The staff made us feel very welcomed. As we were celebrating my partners birthday, every single staff member wished my partner a happy birthday and created an amazing experience. They poured us a celebratory splash of wine and provided a birthday cake! They were also very accommodating and quick to answer questions which we had for certain courses and wine pairings. I personally believe that this is the best dinner course I have had in Toronto. I would definitely dine again.

Service is very good through out the night. We did not have a full house. My wife had the wine pairing and I had the cocktail pairing. Way too much alcohol for me. Dishes came out just the right time. Does not feels hurried. The only 1 thing that my wife wants is bread. Although we do have a steamed bun. We had dinner at DaNico a week before and the prices are similar but the service is better at Engima.

Von Anfang bis Ende ein sehr, sehr gutes Restaurant-Erlebnis. Wir sind wir der Meinung: Das Restaurant war mit großem Abstand deutlich besser als die anderen drei ein-Sterne-Restaurants, in denen wir die letzen Wochen in Nordamerika waren.

Excellent experience when celebrating a birthday! We tried Don Alfonso earlier this year, which was high quality, but the service at Enigma was another higher level. Enigma was the closest we've had in North America to some of our favourite meals while travelling Europe. My only complaint is that for a table of two, a 20% mandatory gratuity is excessive at any restaurant, but the high menu prices coupled with a high tip multiplier seem a bit over the top.

Enigma is a nice restaurant with a beautiful decoration and nice service. The food is extraordinary! Also the presentation and the combination of flavors. Our compliments to the chef, we will definitely recommend this restaurant. The only thing that we did not enjoy was how fast paced it was, specially once entering the restaurant there is no space to look at the menu and the sommelier was extremly pushy and not meeting our needs.

Amazing food and service at Enigma celebrating a friend’s birthday. The Polaroid was especially thoughtful to capture the moment even though the photo turned out to be fuzzy for some reason. Would definitely recommend and go back again in the future!
