    At EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace, we invite you to join us for our Festive Afternoon Tea experience. Monday to Friday, bookings are accepted between 2:00-3:00PM. On Saturday and Sunday bookings are accepted between 11:00-11:30AM, 1:00-1:30PM, and 3:00-3:30PM. Our talented culinary team has carefully curated a selection of pastries and finger sandwiches using fresh ingredients that pay homage to the traditional British Tea experience. Please share any dietary restrictions in advance to guarantee accommodation. We are delighted to offer a children's Afternoon Tea at $40/child. Please book for the total amount of guests and select the number of children in the add-on section. We are happy to offer a 90 minutes seating time.

    Bread was dry on the sandwiches. The cheesecake was dry and solid. The cakes were looked better than the taste. The scones and cream were the saving grace

    Service was fabulous. Good wine and cocktail list too. Enjoyable vibe and atmosphere. The cod entree while really good wasn’t as hot as it should be. Serve on a hot plate would help. Loved the calamari and the crispy shrimp. Pricey… but we had a great time!

    Our server was incredible - we adored her. Cocktails were on point, food was good. Steak was ok, for the price I would have preferred to be more impressed and the cut should have melted on the palate. But, was not the case. Still, a lovely evening in a beautiful space. Perfect for our small Celebration.

    Our experience (Dec 2) was less than ideal for two reasons: 1) Two young women were doing a lengthy photo shoot in the small dining room across from the bar where we were seated. They were also vaping indoors. In my view, they should have been asked to leave as it was very disruptive to the other three groups of patrons in the otherwise lovely venue. 2) The food served at the festive afternoon tea was hit and miss. All four of us did not really enjoy any of the desserts, but the scones, jams and sandwiches were lovely. For the above reasons, I feel the value just wasn't there for the cost. I would recommend, but would caution friends.

    Service from initial greeting was outstanding. Cocktails were carefully crafted and each had a unique description /story. Food was amazing. We loved that so much on the menu was locally sourced and sustainable practices. Highly recommend!

    Adrianna was our tea sommelier... again she was absolutely amazing. She is knowledgeable, patient and kind. We would recommend tea just so you can meet her! The food was outstanding and tea divine! Run don't walk to have tea at the Ritz!

    I hosted a holiday high tea for my company and we had a wonderful time here! Service is efficient, the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and it's a fair price point compared to other venues. Absolutely worth the visit!

    What an incredible experience. The bartenders are beyond amazing. They really want to get to know you and try and cater the experience to you. The food is unlike anything I've had in Toronto. Will absolutely be coming back! Thank you so much Brent, Brock, Jon and Iryna!

    I enjoy meeting my friends for afternoon tea at the Ritz. The atmosphere, the food and the service are very good. However, I believe such a place should serve the tea on a white tablecloth and not on plastic mats. Also, this time around the sandwiches were a bit bland. We always look forward to the cakes. At this place we expect them to be special. They were good, but simpler than they should be, especially the tiny cupcakes. The place is very nice offering enough space for people to feel comfortable. We appreciate this very much. The service is also very courteous and we appreciate this very much.

    Had the afternoon tea. The room was very nice and seating was comfortable. Lunch guests were in the same area as those having tea so at times the lunch smells were overpowering. The servers were friendly, professional and attentive. The food was good but had expected it to be a bit more elevated. The egg and chicken sandwiches were very bland. The cucumber sandwich had very little cream cheese. The smoked salmon sandwich was by far the best of the sandwiches. The scones were perfect. The desserts were very good except the almond financier which was very dry and dense.

    We were very impressed by Epoch Bar & Kitchen Terrace. It was such a beautiful place and atmosphere with subtle jazz music and amazing staff. The afternoon tea was incredible and highly recommended. Thank you!

    I was inviting 10 guests to a business meal and I clearly said at the arrival that alcohol was not included and that all requests had to be approved by me. I ended up having an enourmous bill where there was a lot of alcohol that the guests had requested and that the maitre has not double check with me. Also there were dishes to share that exceeded the ones I had requested. That was my third event at Epoch and I’m afraid I’ll not be back since I cannot trust the service

    We have been to Epoch on several occasions and have enjoyed the service, the food and the ambiance each time. It would be nice if the wine list included a few more selections in the lower price range. We will be there again soon. Thank you.

    Horrible service, overpriced, not at all an elevated or special experience. Mediocre to paltry food, tea bags!? Packed in like sardines. Do not ever go here, spend your money on four to six other high teas somewhere else. What a rip off! Go anywhere else, like the BEST tea in Ontario (the Montrose Inn!!!)

    We were thoroughly disappointed in our dinning experience at the afternoon High Tea this past Sunday afternoon. While our server was lovely, the overall experience wasn’t at all worth the price tag. I found the selection of teas quite weak and my tea was not hot at all when it was served. When a different server brought out the tower she was holding it a couple inches from the ground, as if it was too heavy, it was bizarre to watch. The bread on the sandwiches felt stale and hard, as if they’d been made in the morning and left to sit out all day. I was also disappointed in some of the sweet selections. The pumpkin spice cheesecake needs more sweetness and the almond financier was dry. On top of this, the staff started hauling chairs and tables from inside to outside while we were dinning. The draft was cold and they were practically carrying the furniture right over our table since we were seated right by the door to the patio. At 400$ with tax and tip for 3 people we certainly won’t be back again.

    Great food but they need to do something about their decor. The chairs are too low and uncomfortable. Not good for eating, poorly designed, not ergonomic. I don’t know what they are trying to accomplish here but it’s ridiculous.

    Beautiful space with table and bar options for seating. We were tucked in a side room that was perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was prompt, friendly and thoughtful and the food was all delicious.

    Although a beautifully decorated restaurant, the salad was old and had no resemblance of a real Caesar salad for $35.00. When did a salad ever become $35 and look and taste like the one at Denny’s. Very disappointed in the quality as the protein add was another 18.00. For that price, it should have been at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas. The service was on par.

    Never ever disappoints! Our server Adrianna - my apologies if I got that incorrect - she was gracious and knows her teas. She took her time and had a delightful approach to our experience. I am coming back next month with the hubby! Love love this tea .. best in the city!
