   Enjoyed a terrific dinner experience at Epoch to celebrate a friend’s birthday! The service was fantastic - friendly and attentive. The food, while expensive, was amazingly delicious! The vibe and atmosphere on the patio was the perfect mix of elegant and fun. This is a great choice for celebrating a special occasion or when you are wanting to impress your dinner companions!

   We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Epoch. It was a gorgeous evening, so the outdoor terrace was perfect. Comfortable seating, beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service! We'll be back!

   Service was amazing, food was very disappointing, $26 for two shrimp that once took off tail/head were no bigger than your pinkie finger, $30 mushroom pizza burnt and very oily, cheese plate for $32 included 3 small hunks of cheese, 2 slices of toasted bread and 12 small grapes. Fried chicken that was recommended by waiter was good portion size but for $38 expect white breast meat and not hunks f fat fried up disguised as meat. Meat was fatty/greasy and bland. For $200 for 4 people, no drinks ( just water) not good value for money and food quality and portions very sad. So many better options nearby! Would definitely not recommend for food, but want to note that the physical space is great and service exceptional. Overall however extremely disappointing experience as had been suggested that we go there before seeing Hamilton. Will be my first and last visit. The afternoon tea looked like a better option if you are considering eating there before a show! We saw few others having it and looked like better choice!

   The food was good, however the Flat Iron Steak portion was rather small. The Vietnamese Fried chicken was delicious and portion size was good. Cocktails, while also very good but were very over priced. In general, considering the hefty price tag, I don’t think we got good value for our meal. We also had a table right beside the patio doors and were subjected to chilly drafts every time the door was opened, which was often. Our first and last visit.

   Appetizer never came. Food was good, but I had pizza and it was not cut properly and I had to request a sharp knife to cut it. They did provide free dessert and coffee to mitigate the negative experience. I just expected better attention to detail. Will not go back.

    My partner and I enjoyed a delightful dining experience on the Terrace! We indulged in appetizers and main courses ( Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, Hong Kong Shrimp toast, Japanese sweet potato, Vietnamese fried chicken and Levantine pizza) that were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were expertly crafted -even for a person that doesn’t drink alcohol - displaying a delightful creativity. The service we received was exceptional, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome.

    We had an amazing evening on the terrace at EPOCH. We shared a bunch of appetizers and had cocktails. Favorites were Hamachi, Jumbo Shrimp, and Smoked Salmon pizza. All the cocktails were great also, but the clarified pina colada is maybe the best drink I have ever had. It was a little cooler, but they had heaters and the fireplaces created a really nice ambiance.

    Food snd cocktails were good and plated creatively. Seating was funky for a full sit-up meal. Seating setup is best for lounging and cocktails. Staff seemed incredibly overwhelmed and rushed to get us places / bothered by having to take our order. But we still tried to enjoy ourselves nonetheless!

    The overall ambiance and setting of the restaurant is beautiful and feels quite intimate which I like. All the food felt fresh and we were both quite full after! However, I was dissapointed by the tea itself because it was very weak and I felt like the proportion of water to the amount of tea leaves made it lacking in flavor. When asked for a refill I at least thought they would replace the bag with a fresh bag of tea but they just added more water which made it even more watery. Our server was very nice but I had to get her attention for everything from asking for cream and sugar to asking for the bill or more water. Overall I would not come back or reccomend this place for afternoon tea for the value and experience that I got.

    The staff was great. Everyone was extremely welcoming. The ambience was nice! The touch for my friend’s birthday was really nice also. The afternoon tea was, however disappointing. There was no cutlery or milk and sugar for the teas. The food for the afternoon tea didn’t seem all that fresh with the bread somewhat dried and the Salmon tart was still slightly chilled. For the Ritz, I would of expected more attention to their afternoon tea. Does not compare to their London venue

    Food was delicious, patio is gorgeous but service was just OK. Server didn’t realize that we didn’t have napkins till we asked for them and my toddlers apple juice took over 20 mins to arrive and I had to remind them about it.

    We preordered the Sunday dinner for 6 people. Our food didn’t come for 1hr and 15 mins so we had to rush to eat and take desert to go as we had plans following. Food was great and our server was nice, just took a long time for food to come.

    Considering we spent $700 for 5 ppl you’d think the waitress would have attempted try and be more accommodating. We were 20 min late due to the hwy being closed which was obviously our fault but the waitress told us we’d have to clear the table by then allotted time regardless even though there were so many empty tables. I also asked for an indoor space but was called by the hostess a couple weeks prior to move it outdoor. I was apprehensive due to it being May (Mothers Day) and the weather being unpredictable, I was assured it would be managed accordingly and they check the weather and will accommodate. Well day of it was really cold and my mother asked to be moved inside and the server said no because I had specifically asked for outside which wasn’t true. Anyway. It’s over priced for the service you get. Maybe it was just my server. Also, if you’re going to charge: $75/pp for high tea you expect an experience. Part of high tea is having those cute cups and saucers. If I wanted tea and some biscuits in a regular cup and pot then I’d pay $10 for tea and order a dessert.

    Easily the best patio in Toronto. Booked in advance and they had our table ready for us when we arrived. Every seat was taken and so many stylish people! We only intended to have a cocktail and an appetizer, but they were both so good we stayed for dinner. The Mezcal cocktail (don't remember the name but it is yellow and has black salt on the rim), the Hamachi Crudo, and the Rack of Lamb were the highlights. The bartenders were super busy but very friendly.

    Not exactly what I was expecting for high tea. We had a small table, and super low chairs that are reclined back. So trying to sit up to our table in them was uncomfortable. Another table as well as ours had to ask for cushions to help prop you up. Our tower platter came and the server brought us a foot stool to set it on because our table space was so small. No fancy mugs or plateware. It did not satisfy a $200 high tea experience. Food was delicious, but not enough to make the atmosphere better. Wr sat in a small room, 2 other tables there, closed down pool tables and up against a wall in a corner Comparing to alternative high tea experiences, this was the worst one but with the best food.
