I’m not a fan of the Austin “hipster” restaurant scene. Many of the restaurants that have come into the city are overrated and over priced. This is not one of them. Great food, great service, and reasonable prices for what you get. We let the server pick what she thought were the best dishes on the menu and it was all great. Will be back!

extremely expensive for no reason . tlv had a great menu it was real Israeli food in pitas. Ezov menu is extremely expensive and not worth the money and anyone know Israeli food knows you eat sabih in a pita and u don’t pay 25 dollar for a piece of eggplant. Food wasn’t bad but I felt I got robbed.

Beautiful interior, enthusiastic staff and inventive food you won’t be making at home. It’s why we go out to restaurants. The crude, charred cabbage and chicken were our favorites.

Staff is amazing! Everyone seems to really enjoy working there and are very knowledgeable on the food and drinks. Food is delicious and fresh. Yummy cocktails and extensive menu of wines.

Great food, great service. We were seated outside in the back patio. It was way too loud. My wife and I and could barely speak without yelling. I would strongly recommend you somehow baffle that area down. I asked the front desk and then the Mgr to change seats. They were very accommodating and put us at a much more quiet table inside in the back near the bathroom (yes, I was that one!). Food was over the top good, service was beautiful but the noise outside.....terrible. Thanks for a great evening, David Boikess

The food was amazing. the valet was so so so kind. the staff was well informed and happy to help with my weird allergy. the food is always amazing the falafel is still the best in Austin. the new menu is great. the flavors made me miss the old tlv menu. Thanks for the amazing time.

Great food. Service was friendly but ended with a cheesy twist. Got the bill and saw the price on the wine was $5 more per glass than listed on the menu. Pointed it out to the waitress (who introduced self as a sommelier in training), who goes to investigate, comes back and says they started serving a different version of the same style and it’s more expensive. Unstated message: just deal with it. Then they walked away. WTF Ezov. Charge the price on the menu. Don’t pass on screw ups to the customer. Besides, the wine was NOT worth $20 per glass.

Is the food tasty? yes, no doubt. but the portions are small, and overall highly overpriced. It's elevated TLV food, but 4 times the cost. Wish they had takeout options of pantry essentials and condiments, so one could recreate the meals at home.

We were skeptical about inviting our son to dine with us at Ezov since he was unfamiliar with the cuisine. But once there, he was impressed, especially with the tomato salad, which was highlighted with fresh dill and mint spices. Quite a surprise! He was less happy with the beef tartare due to the very small meat pieces in the dish. I'm no expert on that subject, but the hummus and other dishes were superb! The breads, too, were outstanding and everything was sharable. We really enjoyed it. I thought the price was a bit high, but we were very happy with the food and service. Also, the parking is by valet, so prepare to offer a tip for that. The wine list was limited, but quite good with prices around $18 per glass or $85 per bottle. The wines were from the middle east or Greece, so they are less well-known than other areas, but quite good, based on the one we tried.

Everything was amazing! It is family style which was an added bonus. We tried a good portion of the menu. I am beyond a picky eater and was expecting to only like the falafel, but let me tell you everything was wonderful. I discovered I liked more than I thought. Also, restaurant is very allergy conscious. One of our party has a lot of food allergies. Our waiter went above and beyond describing what is in the various dishes and ways to meet her dietary restrictions. Waiter understood her need to avoid cross contamination as well. My daughter said it is one of only a handful of restaurants she truly felt safe eating at.

What a great experience here! Went with a friend and loved everything we tried. We got the crudo, tomatoes, fresh bread, the fish, the kofta, AND the olive oil cake (came hungry!). Everything was so delicious and fresh, and the presentations were lovely too. I avoid dairy, and the menu was still very accessible, and there are plenty of ways to accommodate. What made our experience even better was our sweet server who gave thoughtful recommendations (without being pushy at all) and knew the food and drink menu to a T. We were very impressed and found her so charming and helpful. It was also comfortable sitting under the covered outdoor area - not too loud like many other new restaurants in town. This was my second time trying after having dined closer to when they opened, and I have to say this time i was blown away! Will definitely be back.

My wife and I brought some friends from out of town here and we loved it so much we came back for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic at guiding us through the menu (we're vegan) and the wine list. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to be around. Onto the food. It's the best food we've had in Austin by far. The produce is fresh, the combination of flavors is next level, and the portions are great if you love trying lots of small to medium size plates. We got the smashed cucumber, summer tomato, cabbage, frena bread, and hummus. If you want Middle Eastern flavors in Austin, come here. There's another restaurant off Congress that claims to be the best Middle Eastern in Austin, but EZOV blows it out of the water. The vibe and ambiance is perfect for date night and small groups. Great design, good music, all around 10/10.
