Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had, and the best in Austin in my opinion. The crudo, hummus, and falafel were the real standouts for us, but every dish was excellent.

Appetizers : bread, smoked fish, hummus delish. Main course: of chicken sharma excellent Grouper was only 3 oz of grouper , not a sharing plate, over priced for the offering. Dessert: Olive cake and sherbet very good.

Fantastic! Meal service environment! We had the best time. Food was extraordinarily great. Dali was a friendly helpful fun server! Tyler was so nice, juniper as well. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday in style! Truly a great dining experience!

Booked a table for inside and were seated in their attached covered patio and were told that was indoors (it was clearly not and there were bugs) 3 of the 5 dishes were very good. The other 2 were okay. Would go back but only if not moved to the outdoor area again

The reviews are exactly right. The food and service are outstanding. We had the hummus, falafel, Sabiche (eggplant), chicken, and lamb/beef skewer, and a bottle of Syrah. Everything was delicious. The sides and sauces excellent. The service was terrific, friendly, efficient, alert without being intrusive. It's pricey, but well worth the costs. It was a bit noisy.

The noise level is SO LOUD!! We were seated in the enclosed outdoor area and had to tell at one another to be heard. While the music was good, it's a restaurant, not a club. I asked them to turn it down and it was a bit better but it doesn't need to be like that. Let people enjoy the company of others without it being deafening! Otherwise, love the restaurant.

Great new small plates the food is the star of their show - Mediterranean yumminess - as well as their service !!! but get ready to spend $100 each - (if you have cocktails). And it was a bit loud but loved the lively atmosphere - very trendy clean and they knew when to lower the lights - Complimentary valet!!! loved Ezov and will return !!

High prices for very small portions. Drinks were good but pricey too. Spent $160 then went home & ate tacos. Ordered the sabich sandwich which came without bread! I asked if this was indeed a sandwich & the server said "it's our deconstructed sandwich!" So if I ordered a pizza would you serve me the sauce & toppings but no crust? This place has some creative ideas for the food but it's so poorly executed & so overpriced, you just feel cheated. And the 90's house music blaring all night is torture.

My favorite restaurant in Austin! Consistent and delicious! Sophie was excellent. The Smashed cucumber is one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. The cabbage was also excellent. The staff is all very kind. Decor is so cool. Can’t wait to return!

The food is a solid 10. The service is impeccable. However, we had to cut it short because of the HVAC issue. Had a great nook at the bar but the staff admittedly said they were struggling with the AC. I can only imagine the cost needed to update the system but they need to do it. Such a popular place (rightly so) should not be diminished by the AC. MGMT was great and offered an enticement to revisit. We definitely WILL when they address the HVAC.

Best dinner I have had in Austin. Not only was the food impeccable (I’ll never be able to eat a basic falafel again), the service elevated the experience even moreso. Each employee we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided excellent recommendations based on our interests. We’ll gladly make the 3 hour drive to come back!

Was super excited to be in Austin and try Ezov. The ambiance is vibey and decorated really nicely. The food was great, particularly the bread, hummus and Texas steak. My feedback is regarding the service. Very slow in making drinks, coming to the table and not friendly. Our waitress was extremely rude about a light that kept moving to the side. I believe she thought we kept moving it, but it was because the AC was blasting on it. She kept coming over saying what are you guys doing, moving it back, only to find it would continue moving to the side. After the 5th time doing it, she came over “what are you guys doing over here, you guys gotta go” wether it was a joke or not, it made us feel really weird and not great. This in addition to not great service all night was really disappointing.

The food was generally good, but very small portions for the price. These are supposedly dishes to share, but the portions were really only big enough for 2 people. Cons: Have to use valet to park in their lot. We had a rental car and did not want to take the chance it would be damaged, so we had to park blocks away. Server refused to take our order until we decided ALL the dishes we wanted to order. We were very hungry and wanted to be able to order 3 or 4 dishes right away and then decide on more, but we were told this was not allowed! Since we had not been here before this meant we had to spend 20-30 minutes deciding our entire meal before she would take our order. By that time I was hangry and supremely ticked off. The music was too loud. My husband and I were sitting side by side and still could barely hear each other. There is no way we could have dined out with friends and been able to hear them across the table. The table top was sticky already when we arrived. We were told it was actually clean, just tacky from the heat, but it appeared dirty in patches, and my phone and cutlery and plate were sticking to the table. Between courses, after the table was wiped down it was much less sticky, leading me to believe that it had not been properly cleaned before. Ambience in the room is zero. Sparse IKEA like furnishings with fake graffiti on the cheap paper lantern light fixtures, and nothing to dampen the sound of people trying to shout over the too loud music. The food is good, but not great. As I mentioned the portions are small. Our meal for 2 people with only 1 drink each was over $200. We did not have dessert. The best dish we had was the charred cabbage, followed by the Kofta and the smashed cucumbers. Another peeve: I ordered a kofta to go for someone . The package did not include the 3 sauces that they provided for the eat in kofta. The server stated that they didn't usually give the sauces for takeout! Same price though.

The staff at ezov were incredible. That’s what really took this experience over the edge. Our server Chanel, our bartender… it was all such a fantastic experience filled with kind and authentic people. They were really careful about allergies and kindly served free nuts on the sides of dishes. The food was really delicious. I love a tapas formatting whenever you share a ton. My absolute favorites were some of the earlier, veggie forward dishes. In particular the smashed cucumbers, tomato salad, and charred cabbage stood out (but then again so did the hallumi…). The crudo is also not to be missed with pops of pomegranate seeds and silky texture. Cocktails were more savory and very refreshing. I loved the creativity of the bar staff. They’ve developed some cocktails that really compliment the food. The ambiance is delightfully casual and easy. It doesn’t feel stuffy at all and you saw equal amounts of date nights and big groups of friends enjoying one another. I would highly Suggest ezov and would certainly go back again!

Food is great. Unfortunately, this experience wasn’t ideal due to a few rude staff members and “miscommunications” on their end. We walked away feeling treated poorly. They tried to make it right with free drinks/food but wasn’t worth being talked down too and disrespected. Waitress was phenomenal - seemed like the management was the issue.

This is the BEST food I've had in Austin. It is absolutely delicious -- we tried most things on the menu and almost everything was jaw dropping. Service was great, drinks were great. I would say that the noise level was too high; please turn down the music it was hard to have a conversation.

Restaurant, service, and food were excellent. It would have been completely excellent if it was t such a loud restaurant. This won’t keep us from returning. The cooler weather and outside seating will surely bring a more laid back atmosphere, one in which you can have an easy conversation with friends.

The private dining room has to be listed as a patio. It’s not fair to sit people there with no formal AC. Or a heads up about the experience. We were able to move inside, but would have left if that wasn’t available. And four different wait staff said “we feel the same way” but nothing is being done about it. Too new of a good spot, with great food, for that to be the experience.
