We got the cauliflower and burrata apps, both of which were great! For meals we got the salmon and swordfish which were also very good and reasonably priced. Drinks were good, but very expensive for what they were. Waitstaff was wonderful, very friendly

Our experience at Estella was excellent the host staff was warm and friendly, the menu is large with something delicious for anyone who comes in, the bartenders have to be some of the best in the city and they shell out drinks fast to a large crowd and thier servers. Our table staff was quick, attentive, very friendly, and extremely helpful. I will be back and Elina will be requested to take care of my wife and I again. Spectacular place to eat and drink in the west end.

It was average. I ordered club soda twice and both times it was flat. I got the pan seared salmon. The salmon and rice were over cooked. The was a loud DJ on a Tuesday at 6pm. For the average food and service sit was a bit overpriced.

It was alright. Food was underwhelming for what it cost but cocktails were fantastic. Service was ok but not what I expected when booking. Overall there are much better places to eat in Boston in the same price range.

Sadly, our dining experience was poor at best. My cocktail was decent as was the cauliflower appetizer, however, the menu says that their chicken pesto and farfalle dish was made with homemade pasta. There is ZERO chance the farfalle is homemade. For two people who are well versed in fresh pasta, the boxed Barilla (or whatever they use) cannot be passed off as fresh pasta. The dish was also supposed to come with cherry tomatoes, of which I had one that was cut in half (my guest had several in hers). Chicken thighs were used instead of chicken breast and was rather disgusting. Both of us wished we picked different entrees. I also felt badly for our waiter who was clearly new and overwhelmed because they kept putting more dining guests in his section. I think this caused a lot of confusion for him on a Saturday night, and seemed rather unfair to someone in training. Simply put, we will not be coming back.

the service was extremely slow and we had to ask repeatedly to get our food. the dinner took over two hours. our waitress also ensured me my salad was vegan and i think that it was covered in cheese. the food was pretty good and it's a cute place, but the service was disappointing.

We dined on a Saturday night, a 6:15 reservation before an 8:00 show. We ordered in plenty of time but our food didn’t start to come out until 7:40, so we barely had time to take a few bites before we had to pay and leave. Two of the sides came out so late we didn’t even touch them. I’ve spoken to the manager who was very apologetic and said this was uncharacteristic of their service. That may be true but I would be wary of dining here before a show in the future.

Went before a show at the Opera House. Had 2 hours before show. Told waiter about our time line. Took over 30 minutes to get drinks- club soda. Over an hour before any food. Apps and main dish came out together. Ordered the fastest dessert. 30 minutes later it didn’t show up and decided to leave without it. Don’t plan on returning. Food was mediocre. Too many other great choices in Boston.

We came to Estella for dinner before our musical experience at the Citizens Opera House. While there were many options in the square the menu caught our eye. Dinner was impeccable, the drinks were on point (try the “tasted like candy!), and our waiter was both personable and enthusiastic. The price, wait, and ambiance were all excellent. The noise level was a little high, but it was also Boston on one of the first nice Saturday evenings of the season. Not a complaint, just a heads up. 100% would recommend.

Our server was excellent. This is not a quiet venue! Drinks were awesome. Only issue was salad came with no dressing and barely any cheese (had to flag down server and request dressing that came w it as well as more cheese). But that wasn’t a huge deal. Would come again especially for drinks.

The drinks we got were ok. I got the CAIPIRINHA was way to sour. I could enjoy the classic CV drink I usually get. As well as the GINGER KICK. They both had way too much Lime. It took away from the taste. The food was cooked to our liking , it just took way too long to get to us. Seemed like we waited almost an hour for our food. Ambiance is great thought.

The service was so great. She was there when we needed her but not overkill. I hate when a waitress stops every 5 min to check and interrupt the conversation. She was the best part of the meal. The food looked beautiful and tasted fine. It was not over-the-top amazing. My two guests agreed with their meals as well as ok. My salmon on the menu said "jalapenos" but had no kick and little flavor and don't think they were in there. Mild guac on top and sadly boring but cooked perfectly. I would still return and give it a second go. Tell that chef to live a little.

This is one of the best new restaurants in Boston. The food is always seasoned very well, and I love that their kitchen is open late. I’ve been twice and they definitely improved on their drinks from the frost time I went which I love! Restaurant is 3 floors so they have so much space. I love that it’s black owned, I recommend to everyone!

- Food was overcooked (duck, swordfish). - Couscous was "refrigerator" temperature cold on plate of cooked vegetables and fish. - Waited 40 minutes or longer for salad which eventually was served with entrees (leaving little room on table for plates). - Bartender was excellent! She was truly a professional. - We support work staff and despite a very disappointing dining experience we still gave a 20% tip.

Everything was amazing- the service and food were great. We had a blast. Our server was very knowledgeable and efficient. I had the seafood chandelier and my friend had the pear salad with steak. It’s was really good. My only complaint was the crab cakes. It was mushy & over mixed on the inside and cooked to death & burnt on the outside. There was the tiniest drip of the accompanying sauce to try to make it palatable. I would highly recommend this place- EVERYTHING else was fabulous and the house cocktails were delicious. I am looking forward to going again. I highly recommend it.

The service was absolutely amazing. Our server was astounding— quick, nice, effective, had good recommendations, and was just a joy. The owners and managers checked in with us throughout the night, made sure orders were correct and that everything was to our liking. I can not recommend this restaurant enough! The drinks and food are were all phenomenal.

Really great waitstaff - super kind and welcoming. Food wasn't at all like pictures and overall pretty disappointing. Drinks came after our dinner, which was weird. And we sat at one of the tiny tables in the weird middle section of the first floor where it was super loud.

Estella’s is what we needed! The food is amazing and the staff are just so friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful ambiance during the day for lunch. But during the evening, WHAT A VIBE! The perfect mixture of great food, great people, and great music. Oh and let’s not forget the drinks!!! Estella’s is a must! We will definitely be back soon!
