    Did their Thanksgiving dinner with family. Short version: great food but they oversold and under delivered. Service was so slow that we were there 30 minutes before we had drinks and to get the check had to ask a busboy to help. 3.5 hour meal could have been 2 hours. But the food was amazing-turkey perfectly cooked and sides all tasty. The tuna tartar upgrade was awesome. Wine pairings were all excellent too. Dessert was the only food low point-no one liked the semolina cake thing, dry and tasteless. Beautiful restaurant with super comfy seating.

    Food is good. We tasted several dishes, and the portions were not too big so we were not too full afterwards. The service is good and attentive. If there is anything, I would say they came over too often to ask if we are finished with the food while we are still working on it, so it makes us feels like we should wrap up and leave earlier.

    Service was poor and not attentive, some food was outstanding, but the fish and lamb while perfectly cook was just seasoned with salt and pepper not very upscale. The lemon dessert was one of the highlights but rice pudding not upscale enough for a restaurant of this level. The $50 corkage is a bit high. Would not go back

    This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve suffered through in a very long time. The restaurant felt incredibly corporate with a table of at least 20 people running down the middle, making it impossible to have any conversation at our table. Service was fine, but not at the level to be expected at a fine dining restaurant. The table of 20 departed and was cleared loudly while ours sat ready to be cleared for a long time till I could asked someone to please take our plates. The food was fine, but drenched in oil that didn’t taste like the highest quality olive oil yet it was the only thing I could taste on my fish. I am not one to complain about restaurants, but this was super bad and embarrassing as we were entertaining someone from Hong Kong. If the goal is to book large parties and corporate business, then that was achieved. However, for people who just want to have a nice dinner with a good conversation and food, it was not, sadly.

    The ambience, service, and food we all spectacular. Ordered the Lamb Chops, and Petrale Sole and started with the hummus selection. Finished with the very special Baklava Sundae which definitely is for two, at least! Fabulous night.

    My friend and I dined at Ornos on Thusday evening. We were looking forward to having a great experience as it's a Michael Mina restaurant. Sadly, this wasn't the case. First, our server. Although he was nice, it was very apparent he didn't have the experience. He didn't know which side to place eating utensils. We had to show him how. Second, we ordered two appetizers and two entrees. The appetizers came quickly and they were tasty. But, before we could finish our appetizers, the entrees arrived. Now, this is where things became even more disorganized. He brought different dining plates and utensils and was confused whether to take away the appetizers plates et al. We ended up having both sets on a small table. For entrees, we ordered the petrale sole and roasted lemon chicken: 1) the sole was over fried, leaving it oily and no taste. It looked and tasted like bar food. 2) The roasted chicken was also over fried, leaving it super dry and rubbery. Because of this disappointment, I wouldn't recommend it to friends or revisit it again.

    We were seated in the corner and waited 30 minutes. The server never came to our table, although she took the order to the table left of us. We asked the water server, another waiter, and the receptionist for help, but unfortunately no one ever came. This was the worst service we have had in a very long time, and I’m shocked that it would be representative of a Michael Mina restaurant.

    Waited an hour for our table although we had a reservation. Food was mediocre to good. Although Lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Corkage was $50 🙄 Sadly SF is lacking fine dining restaurants and this one isn’t the one you want to drop your money at.

    Amazing and flawless experience! Everyone and everything was perfect, and I'm not just saying that, it was an elevated experience, even the GM came over to talk to us and make sure everything was great, and our server was simply the best.

    Reservation was made for team building event in San Francisco. We were sat right below the speakers, they were playing loud trance music with heavy bass and I literally could not hear anything people say. We requested multiple times for the volume to be lowered but they gave a sorry of an excuse that they can’t touch it. Didn’t make a big deal about it because it was a business dinner so we tried to keep it professional. My cocktail was good. Appetizer was ok. Sea bass that I ordered was ok. Decent portion. So meal ended and I asked for a box to go. Whoever that took my plate nodded, and went ahead to put my used silverware AND my coworkers USED silverware onto my plate that I intend to take home. That definitely pose a major hygiene issue and who knows what they will do with my fish when it’s getting boxed up… so no, I did not take my fish home and I told him to forget about boxing it. He nodded. Again. And came back 5minutes later with a boxed up fish. Overall I was very unhappy with the quality of service and the hygiene level of the employees. I had higher expectation from a Michael Mina restaurant. Will save my time and effort for another place next time we have a business meal.
