   Et Voila never fails to deliver a wonderful experience of dining and atmosphere. We always choose it for special occasions. Last night was our anniversary and we could have gone anywhere in San Diego but again we chose Et Voila. I has Dorade sea food dish that was cooked perfectly with an interesting blend of flavors I would not have imagined. My husband had the lamb shank and the sauce and the meat were great. I don’t ever order lamb because it tastes gamey to me but this was rich and delicious. The cocktails were very creative too. Beautiful evening.

   Love Et Voila! Favorite French restaurant, food is so consistently decadent and the wait staff is consistently delightful. Everything was to perfection. Thanks for a lovely evening.

   This is our second year in a row going to Et Voila! for our anniversary. This time we brought the in-laws and had another great dinner. Cocktails were fabulous - especially enjoyed the Normandy Rose. For starters, we did Farro Salad and the French Onion soup which I think is one of the best I’ve had. For dinner, the Lamb Shank, Beef Bourginon, and Duck Breast. All were super flavorful and delicious. Dessert was the Grand Marnier soufflé, pot du crème, and profiteroles. Service is always excellent and while it’s a small place and a little tight, the ambience is lovely. We think Et Voila! is a real find in San Diego and great value. My only complaint is that there is little to no parking nearby so beware if you drive.

   Seated on time. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Waitstaff well informed and helpful. Service well paced and accurate. Restaurant noise level at bistro level, but conversations were quite possible. Only issue is parking, which is on street in a busy neighborhood. Leave extra time to find parking, and then to walk to the restaurant. A very busy gourmet ice cream store next door with very long lines probably doesn’t help the parking situation.

   Very attentive service from the get go. We were there for a birthday and they seated us in a secluded area. T Our server was so great, answering questions and checking in on us regularly but not too often, iykwim. I had the scallops which were delicious and my partner had the steak frites which was exquisite! The restaurant is dark with soft lighting. My only note was that our entrees arrived very quickly. Definitely not a critique and many would enjoy that speedy service. Next time we’ll order later so we can have more time to enjoy the ambiance before eating. We’ve already talked about returning for their Date Night 3 course dinner!

    This is our second time coming to this restaurant. We usually like to try new restaurants when coming to town, but this is so delicious we love coming back!
