   The food was amazing! If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the chocolate cheesecake. I loved sitting on the outdoor patio. The hostesses were very friendly and my server was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

   I went last night with my girlfriend. Food was the only thing good about this restaurant. My brother gave me a couple of gift cards for my birthday he bought it from their own page. The manager was so rude, he gave me attitude and was asking stup** questions. At the end I had to paid with cash cause he said that they couldn’t find their own gift cards.

   Had outdoor brunch on a hot day. Service was spotty, server was very nice but either overstretched or just inattentive eg Had finished appetizer before we put in entree orders. Food was good but expensive even for Newbury street markup.

   We had dinner at Eva's last night, and all I can say is we'll be back! Server (wish I could remember his name!) was great, and all servers looked engaged with their customers and were hustling to do their jobs well! Food and drinks were fantastic! We sat outside on a beautiful day, and noise level was not loud. Very relaxing and enjoyable, on of the best meals I have had in a very long time! Thank you Eva's and staff!!

   The tuna tartar & the street corn were delicious. The main meals lacked flavor and originality. I made a bad choice and ordered the curry. I’m not sure there was even any coconut milk in the dish. I’m sorry to write a bad review, but I was so disappointed since I chose the restaurant for our group.

   The venue was awesome; not overly crammed in. We sat upstairs , comfortable noise level. We had the street corn, tuna appetizer which were delicious. The Gnocchi and swordfish tacos were fire! Great vibe for a small or larger crowd.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Eva. The reservation process was smooth and they had our table ready when we arrived. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food and drink was tasty and arrived within an appropriate timeframe. We would return.

    Service was not great. Took a long time for the server to come to our table and an even longer time to get the drinks we ordered. Appetizer ordered was good, but a little small. Cute place, but overall experience was just okay.

    Eva is my absolute favorite restaurant on Newbury Street!! The food and service is amazing here! If the weather is beautiful, I definitely recommend sitting outside. 10/10 would recommend to everyone looking for a great restaurant in Back Bay!

    Food was so bad. Don’t get the steak tartar (there weren’t parts that I couldn’t chew through, it was disgusting) nor the tacos (no taste and came cold).

    Fun atmosphere (though volume made table conversation hard). Door opens directly to tables so blasts of cool air did come in through the meal. Menu was fresh, wholesome food and good sized portions. (We had Mediterranean salad with falafel and seafood pasta.) Beer and cider came in cans (not on tap) but very tasty. Waitstaff was friendly, upbeat, appropriately attentive. Lovely location in beautiful neighborhood. Overall enjoyable time!

    I would like the manager to know that our waiter was fabulous. I didn't get his name, an Italian (?) gentleman. Very friendly, helpful with the menu, attentive but not too much with a very happy personality! I thought he was the manager by how helpful he was. He made our experience with the restaurant very enjoyable!

    Had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon it was good, fries are really good. Ordered the Chicken and waffles wasn’t able to try it because I found a hair in the chicken. Server was nice about it but maybe next time I’ll try it. Drinks were okay. Flavored mimosas didn’t really taste the flavor. Lychee Martini was good to me kinda strong but the actually lychee fruit I wasn’t a fan of.

    Good but not great-- you could get a much better dinner for 2 for $90 elsewhere on Newbury street with much better food. The floor tiles are gaudy too, doesn't fit Boston's vibe at all, feels like you're in a basement.

    My girlfriend and I waited over 1-Hour to get 2 entrees. As good as the food was, I would not go back since I don’t enjoy waiting over 1-hour on slow service. The restaurant was only about 75% full too, so it was disappointing that the service was that slow.

    The brunch is pretty good. The dinner was disappointing. The waiter was really pushing the Rose Sangria after I tried to order a different cocktail. I ended up getting both drinks and they were fine and overpriced. I got the lamb burger and it was pretty dry. I would not go again for dinner. Potentially for brunch. It is very pretty inside but not worth the price/quality.

    There should be more food on the menu like chicken wings for appetizers. Not everyone eat pork therefore it should be clam chowder with out bacon. Maybe incorporate Quinoa or rice pilaf for an additional side with the delicious steak tips. I would go again and recommend this resturant. It was my husband's birthday and I requested on the reservation online to sing Happy Birthday and that was not done. I will still come again. Thank you!!

    I've visited Eva once before with a friend who was in town for a conference, and chose it again this weekend for the same reason. The space itself is gorgeous, and our servers were friendly and helpful. My sole complaint was about an unnecessary refusal of accommodation, and I'm writing this message with the hope that the management and staff will be trained accordingly. Although I specified on my reservation (made one day earlier for a party of 3) that I needed a padded seat that would allow me to sit with my feet on the floor because I have a hip injury, the host initially refused to accommodate the request. He told me and my husband more than once that the wooden chairs and bar seating were "all we have," and basically gave us a dismissive 'take this or leave it' attitude until I asked to modify one seating arrangement so that I could sit on a padded bench. At that point, we were shown upstairs and given a choice of seats (the restaurant was not at all full). This option could/should have been made available from the beginning rather than forcing me to argue about my needs. It's a small indignity, but one that did put a damper on the experience, and leaves me to question how Eva will receive customers who have mobility/accessibility needs. Other restaurants I've booked through OpenTable have contacted me in advance if they anticipate a problem. I'm compelled to think twice about further patronage.
