   Overall our experience was great! I can’t give them five starts though because I called ahead to make sure there were GF options and they assured me there would be plenty of options for me at the buffet and that everything would be labelled. There were no GF labels and my options were rather limited.

   Wonderful Mother’s Day event with fun family extras. Really enjoyed the event and the roast beef was incredible - so tender and delicious! Would have appreciated more vegetables on the buffet.

   Service was awesome. Minimal hovering, no pressure to finish up, just asking to refill glasses. Even after we finished and paid they said we could stay and just let them know if we wanted anything to drink. Food was delicious, but every cake dessert was so dry no one at our table ate them. And we grabbed one of everything to taste and share but couldn't eat them. The Indian ice cream was delicious. Overall would defined go back for the quiet and calm atmosphere. Seats were comfy too!

   Definitely a best kept secret in Edmonton. We like to venture out and try different restaurants in Edmonton. This was our first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was . definitely recommend the brisket egg Benedict.

   Four of us met at Evario for dinner and a catch up with friends. We ordered appetizers, entrée and dessert. Arancini balls were fantastic. The samosas were really tasty The salmon was so good that the person eating it used my nana bread to sop up every last drop. The braised beef appy is what I ordered for dinner, the meat was touch and the flavour was just different than I like. I had everyone at the table try it and they all agreed that it was not what we expected. My friend ordered the mussels and she enjoyed them but wasn’t a fan of the sauce. Another friend ordered the butter chicken and he loved it. We had the tiramisu and the molten lava cake for dessert. Lick the plate clean type of yummy. We didn’t but would have if we were at home. ;) We have eaten here before and we will again. The food is prepared beautifully and it just depends on personal taste on what you will enjoy. There are enough items in the menu to choose from to cover everyone in the family. They have hamburgers and they have entrees like lamb and steak. The restaurant is in a hotel so if you go in on the weekend you will likely be sharing the restaurant with hockey teams, cheer teams etc. It gets quite loud in there and it is busy but as long as you are an easy going person, you will be satisfied by the food and not worry about all the kids in there. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

    This restaurant was a surprise. Located in an attached hotel I expected a typical hotel restaurant experience, boy was wrong. The meals were exceptional. Everything from the lamb shank with vegetables to the lobster ravioli in a butter cream sauce were comparable to a 5 star resturant. We will be making reservations again!

    Server was OK, the resteraunt was quiet and after the food was brought we never saw him again even to refresh our drinks. The eggs benny that was supposed to be there specialty wasn't even mediocre and there breakfast buffet was even less impressive. I would not go there again.

    The food here is fascinating and so darned yummy. If you are a foodie, treat yourself here, it's worth the drive! This was my 3rd time here and I wasn't disappointed. I have people to bring here to share in the taste and presentation of excellent food. It is slightly more expensive than some other restaurants, but the quality of the food makes that somewhat understandable, taking all the other factors we are dealing with post-Covid.

    This place is pretty and good for pictures. The price was reasonable and I was surprised to get such large portions. I ordered sea food linguine and it’s was delicious. The Shirley temple tasted like any other orange soda but still very good. I didn’t like the pistachio crème brulee but that’s just my opinion, I would prefer the regular plain one. The desserts was on the house since it was my birthday so that was awesome. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and very kind to us. They had really good customer service. Next time you want to go out and are thinking about joeys or earls try this place. It’s equally as good.

    The food was good but not spectacular. It was a pretty expensive meal for a hotel restaurant. The risotto was under cooked and the brisket burger was just okay. The lamb, calamari and bruschetta was good though. Desserts were not bad but pricey. Glad we checked it out but not sure it’s worth the trip to the south side. Service was very slow.

    I ordered the veal scaloppini, which I always had at Bistecca when Sonny Sung was there. I had hoped that Evario's dish would be as good, but sadly it wasn't quite as good. The veal was tender but the overall taste lacked something....maybe more lemon or seasoning? My son ordered the tenderloin medium, but it was well done and kind of dry. He said it was tender so not worth complaining about. My husband had the tagliatelle alfredo, which was very good. He eats very little, so brought most of it home for the next day. We had hi-balls of gin and tonic, old fashioned, and cosmopolitans, which were all very good. Wine selections were adequate. Noise level was above and beyond what a person should expect at this restaurant. There were many children dining with their parents and allowed to run around and scream. We feel the waiters should have spoken to the parents and asked them to keep their children seated. We were 3 people and had to shout at each other to make ourselves heard. A few times, waiters almost ran into the little ones as they were carrying drinks or hot dishes. This is the primary reasons we will not return.

    This was our first time at the Restaurant and came for the Valentine’s Day special. The ambience was lovely and they did a good job providing a relaxing and friendly setting. The food was mediocre, and that’s why my review is not at a higher rating. Portions were solid, but food lacked quality. Still think it is a restaurant worth visiting and I would give it a second chance.

    First time at Evario and certainly not the last. The food was excellent. Extremely well presented and food was hot. We enjoyed the variety of vegetables added to the salmon and butter chicken dinners. The others had the spaghetti and said it was the best he has had in some time. The other menu choice was the linguini with seafood. Definitely recommend this restaurant at least for dinner! Service by Katrina was excellent; we were well taken care of.

    Chose Evario for a group of 8. Good location in south Edmonton & sufficient parking. Our table was ready & we were seated promptly. The host & server did not introduce themselves. The server was good. She took drink orders from those who arrived when they arrived. Then checked at appropriate intervals for drink refills. She was patient with us while ordering mains since we had a hard time ordering because there were some solid options. She advised us that the kitchen was a little behind so our meals may take a little longer than we may expect. This was a nice courtesy. We didn’t mind because it had been 2 years since we all got together so there was a lot of catching up to do. She was organized & got all 8 orders correct. 1. Angel hair pasta w/ scallops & tomatoes- excellent 2. Seafood Linguini- excellent 3. 14oz rib eye w/truffle butter - excellent 4. Veal scallopini - excellent 5. Roasted pork tenderloin- excellent 6. Guru butter chicken - very small portion & guest fount it was way too salty. 7. Seared Alaska Salmon - excellent 8. I Forget what he ordered but he loved whatever it was & ate every single bite of his meal. Every meal was plated well. The flavours complimented each other perfectly. Well thought out & diverse menu. The menu has appetizers, salads, pizza, pasta, & main entree’s. The bathrooms & bright, clean & well stocked. A huge plus. One server took care of our table for the entire evening. She was capable & organized. If I knew her name I would give her a shout out! The decor is clean & contemporary. Suggestions - 1. Have your host & servers introduce themselves. 2. Get rid of the black tablecloth’s & maybe even the cloth napkins. The table cloths smell bad & look dated. Hello 1980. Clean table with nice napkins maybe. Paper options that look & feel like cloth. Everyone but one person had fabulous meals. We ALL agreed that we would be back. We look forward to our next get together.

    On a positive note, the service was wonderful. Our server asked for our honest feedback on our food and also brought out complimentary appetizers and dessert. Unfortunately my friend and I both did not enjoy the food. I had the ravioli, it was drowning in butter and had a harsh lemon flavour that did not work well with the dish. My friend had the cacio e pepe and she also found too much better and an unusual lemon flavour.

    Tried it for the first time. Very good food, service and easy parking. Good selection from the menu and reasonably priced. Meals were large in proportion. The place was busy with a few large tables so the noise level was up a bit but the service was still very good.
