    We were put in a booth in a very dark corner. We ordered the meatballs (tasted like they were frozen), Evo kale and Brussel Sprout salad which was very dry and tasted burned, and a Margarita Pizza which the dough was soft and pizza that was literally tasteless. All and all the food was just average or below. When we went to pay, we signed up with in Inkind App which was suppose to give us $25 off $75 in spending and they said they didn’t honor that promotion even though it was on their website! Crazy:-(

    The food was amazing, every bite bursting with flavor. We we’re celebrating a birthday and they served a delicious dessert for the occasion. The only thing I would change was how dark it was. Our reservation was at 5:30 and it was so dark it was hard to read the menu. A little more light would have been great.

    A great dinner on a reasonable cost. Ambience could use some work but the food was delicious and our server was great. 10/10 recommend the whipped feta appetizer.

    We don't often do Italian out - old family recipes keep us happy at home. So, for us, the places that get it right are few and far between. EVO gets it right ... everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere. They nail the essentials (delicious sauces, perfect meatballs, amazingly-fresh pasta) with plenty of other inspired dishes that make you say 'wow'. Happy hour vibe is chill and fun, too. Yup ... they've stuck around for all the right reasons.

    My girlfriend ordered mussels and 7 of them were dead before they were cooked - they never opened up during cooking. I ordered lobster gnocchi and while the lobster was good, gnocchi didn’t seem fresh

    Bland food, bland pasta. The coating on the chicken parm was cooked in rancid oil. The place is too dark and loud. Couldn’t even have a conversation without yelling. Very disappointing.

    Service and food was outstanding. The inside was full of energy and was a little loud at times. Outside was better for conversation and with the misters the temperature was fine. Look forward to our next visit. Make sure you make a reservation, as they do get busy.

    Really great service and overall the food was pretty solid. Couple dishes were misses but overall great experience. Nice touch with the personalized menu for our group and the celebration shots.

    Evo I’d always amazing and one of my favorite restaurants in Old Town. The manager, Samantha, is always on top of things and makes her way around to meet and great everyone. She must have a photographic memory, because she remembers us all! We love that the happy hour features many of the same great foods we love and that they serve food until 2:00 am. Foodie’s paradise!

    Went with my family of 5. Had to repeat our orders numerous times to the waitress before she got them right. Went on a Thursday night at 6:30, the place wasn’t crowded and they were out of certain pastas My son ordered a cocktail and they were out of that alcohol. Next the food, my wife had lobster tail over gnocchi and the gnocchi were inedible as if they were old $48. One of my sons got the personal pizza, the dough was very oily when you bit into it. Overall, not a great experience. Would not recommend.

    Cocktails were fun and inventive. Evo salad is always a go to. We had the Salmon, Sausage and Fennel Pasta and the Chili Shrimp Pasta. Everyone loved their meal. The service was quick and friendly.

    Not a big fan - surprised friends have talked about this place - felt a little divey and took an out of town guest - the fritto misto was disappointing as was the focaccia - the Arancini was oily but the best part of the meal - good wine selection but that's it - need to rethink their approach ....

    Went for dinner on family vacation. Menu has changed from a couple years back. Ordered the meatball appetizer , 2 filets, a burger, and chicken piccata for $177. Food was just ok.

    My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We had some trouble locating the place as the signage is not easy to see from the street. We sat in a booth at the back and soon realized that the noise from the overhead vent was loud, and the background voices were also loud, making it a little difficult to hear each other and the waitress. We each had a cocktail and were delighted that they were well made. We then ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer and were amazed at how big it was--enough for 4 people. Our entrees were the filet&potatoes and the seafood pasta. Both were fabulous! The filet was big and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The pasta was excellent as well. The waitress was very good. She was pleasant and attentive. My only wish is that the restaurant would work on the interior decor. Though the food and service were excellent, I'm not sure that I would include this place as a date night option.

    Food was okay, wine options subpar for an Italian restaurant. Air was not working making it unbearable. They only had 2 or 3 fans inside, management should have had more fans, a small investment to keep your customers comfortable in 100 degree heat.

    EVO was a good overall experience. We were there on one of the hottest days in July so it was uncomfortably warm inside to the point where we had to leave. However the service was excellent and the food was very good and they had a decent happy hour menu even on a Saturday.

    We celebrated a bachelorette party here and EVO did not disappoint. The margherita pizza was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The menus even had a congrats message for the bride to be! Service was very professional and friendly. 10/10!

    Realizing it’s the middle of summer and extreme heat outside, the restaurant was very warm. Additional fans were set up throughout the restaurant so unsure if AC was not fully functioning or just unable to keep up with the heat. The food and service were outstanding. The personalized menus for my niece’s birthday made her 30th one to remember! Thank you for the added touch!

    So I have been there several times but this time and the last time I feel they are having AC issues as it seemed warmer than it should have been. I know it’s very hot out but still. Also, we got the dessert menu and when the server came back to take our order then he says you are out of just about every dessert except one. Who didn’t he say that from the beginning. Would she saved alot of time

    We chose the restaurant based on their menu and having Italian dishes. Upon entering we were informed that 2 of their 5 AC's were out. Not their fault bit it was 115° outside. We had a party of 8 and were seated nicely in a remote area. Food was OK. 3 of us got the Blackened chicken fettuccine, 1 a burger, 2 spaghetti bolognese, 1 GF fennel sausage and 1 Chicken Provence. Last dish had a chicken cutlet that was too dry and insanely large asparagus (I prefer petite)- frankly not worth the $27. Desserts were good- chocolate cake and tiramisu. They were out of the Turtle Cheesecake. Ate all over Scottsdale for a week and probably our least fav place - bummer for the cost of the meal. Also, felt the 2 young hostesses were inappropriately dressed for their positions. Looked like they were going clubbing not seating patrons.
