   It was a little loud inside, but still able to have a conversation with my partner across the table. The meatball appetizer and the Bolognese were DELICIOUS. The fennel sausage pasta was just ok. But definitely would go back.

   We enjoyed our meals, however grittier de mer had only two shrimp and mostly mussels. Service was not good this time we had to ask for silverware and bread. Waitress was just not attentive.

   I was excited to eat amazing food but it was disappointing to realize how awful the food was. If you want drinks and bread sure but you can find somewhere that actually leaves you satisfied. My pasta was over cooked, no flavor and the seafood just didn’t go together. If you had a true Frutti di Mare you know this is not the place to get it. My BF said he had better pasta somewhere else.

    The steak bruschetta was great along with the drinks. Unfortunately the pastas were not great. One pasta was extremely salty and the other had no flavor.

    Strange night. We arrived a little before 6 and were seated in a quiet cubby by the kitchen. Actually a great table away from the noise with room to breath. An hour in, a hostess came to the table and told us we had to move to another table because they were seating a bigger party at our table! WTF!!! They wanted us to pick up and move to a booth crammed into the noisy area with 2 large tables of 20 or more shrieking cackling young girls. When we declined the offer to move, the hostess said we were required to leave by 7:30. Well that was at 7, and we hadn't ordered dinner yet. Not like we were drinking water and eating free chips LOL. We had 3 or 4 rounds of drinks and apps at that point. Again, WTF! The manager then came and again asked us to move to the booth by the 2 large parties. Ummm....NO. We didn't move and had dinner and after dinner drinks. Racked up a bill for $350 among 3 guests. The appetizers and drinks were good. The pastas were just OK. Our server was very good. Something is clearly wrong with management, tonight anyway. Not sure if we'll be back. So many really fabulous Italian restaurants in the valley.

    Service was tremendous and the food was better! Our family enjoyed the whipped goat cheese, arancini, lasagna, Bolognese, filet, chicken parm, chocolate cake - they were all phenomenal. High energy, louder environment (music, acoustics, etc). Great evening will be back next visit to Scottsdale!

    We are locals but hadn’t been to EVO for a long time. It was a nice experience even though the noise level is incredible. I’m glad we went early because by the time we left it was really loud. The food was very good especially the pizza. Our appetizer was a whipped feta cheese with spices and garlic honey—amazing! Next we had the octopus which was tough and chewy. It seems restaurants here just don’t know how to make octopus tender like they do in Spain and Portugal. We will definitely be back because for the most part we enjoyed the meal.
