EVOO in the Courtyard

Had a great experience at Evoo last night! The mushroom arancini is a must try! From appetizers to mains and dessert everything was a hit. Only things to note was that the music was a little on the loud side (but great choices) and a little chilly in the dining area but otherwise a lovely evening well spent

Food was great but very small portions. Drinks and service was good. The major let down was how cold it was there. It was like we were eating outside and couldn’t take our jackets off. I wouldn’t go back again unless I was sat next a heater. Ruined the whole meal

The meal was nice but it honestly didn't seem special considering the price. the service was very good and they did an excellent job of taking care of us even though they were booked to capacity. The part that really bothered me is that we were near the side door and it was very cold. we spoke to the table next to us who made comments throughout the dinner about how cold they were as well. It seems like a lovely place for the summer time. Ive been to sit in the courtyard before and it was excellent, it just seems like they might not be fully prepared for winter.

I was super cold. My wife had to put her jacket back on. She asked the server he said he could do nothing. The music was loud. They called me only 2 days before Valentine’s Day that it was a special menu only. Not enough time to book somewhere else. Apps were OK. The wife’s wine tasted like the bottle was an old bottle opened a while ago. The chicken parm tasted very bland and plane, duck was OK. And my wife only had one bite of her desert. Not the quality I expected for a $180 night. Don’t think I will ever go back.

Overall, another great experience at Evoo. I would recommend trying this establishment, great service, atmosphere, and service. I will be back!

This place serves delicious Mediterranean/Italian food, with a regular menu and a full VEGAN menu. Food is fantastic, ambiance is romantic, and service is excellent. Great value for the amount of food!

The staff were lovely. Most of the food was lukewarm and though nicely presented tasted good enough but not great. Except the arincini which I liked. Really warm staff anyway.

I loved how easy it was to eat off a vegan menu while my best friend was still able to enjoy non-vegan grub. We had a great experience! I will definitely be coming back in the future and I can't wait to order a pizza from Skip the Dishes one lazy evening ;)

I was just so-so on Evo.

Our evening would have been much more enjoyable had we been able to remove our coats while eating. It was so cold, the snow we brought in on our shoes didn’t melt. This was disappointing because both the service and food was lovely.

Been there a few times before, the food never disappoints, and this time the service was A++.

Enjoyed our meal, although when ordering a pasta dish or soup some free bread should accompany the meal. We were charged $1 for each piece of bread. Very petty on a $150 bill. Lovely room but we had to move twice trying to find some warmth. Very cold still so just kept our coats on. So free bread and warmer temperature and it would be the perfect dining experience.

Restaurant was out of 10+ items and it was freezing. Normally have had great meals here though !

We love going to EVOO for Christmas, actually any occasion. Great food ! Great Prices and beautiful restaurant.

It is very cold and drafty in the Winter time even when you have the furtherest table from the door however the food is good. Also, the owners need to repair an unusual step in the floor at the back of the restaurant where dining tables are situated and that leads to the bathroom and kitchen area. There is no sign posted to indicate this step and it is in a dimly lit area. Several people have fallen there according to the waiter (including myself) so shame on Management for not having this repaired or a warning posted!! It was suppose to be a delightful evening with friends and it turned into a very painful one.

Fantastic service and great food! As someone who suffers from a gluten allergy I was so well looked after and loved that i could eat pretty much everything on the menu! Will definitely be back

Our server was gracious and attentive. I greatly appreciate the vegan + gluten-free options, and that I can trust that the kitchen does that safely. It happened to be a quiet night, which was lovely.

Main course of cod was not tasty. Otherwise outstanding

EVOO is my favorite restaurant in the city. I love every meal that I've had there, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant to others. The food is incredible,with great service as well. I'm always happy when I leave. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Came to Newfoundland St. John's from London. This is my Second visit to Evoo and I must say the food is excellent. The staff are friendly extremely attentive I hope that more people will come and visit St Johns and enjoy the warm friendly people and the excellent cuisine.

Myself and my friend are vegans so to come to this restaurant with a full vegan menu we were thoroughly excited to try the food. I had the beyond burger and my friend had the vegan alfredo and both were absolutely amazing! I can't wait to come back with my boyfriend, who is also a vegan, the menu is accommodating to dietary needs. Our waiter was also exceptional and very helpful, fast, and friendly.

I would rate it a 6 out of 5 if I could, everything was absolutely amazing! I am not a vegan, however I have a gluten and dairy intolerance so decided to try some of their vegan gluten free options and it was awesome!

This restaurant was, a bit of a let down. My girlfriend and I were looking for something specific so we chose this location for a night out (Being parents we don't get many) We ordered Bruschetta which came out on what appeared to be an English Muffin cut in half and served up as two pieces.

We were advised of Table Bread being available, which we asked for (for a nominal fee of course) and we received a thick SINGLE slice of Ciabatta.

The mains were okay, and we left without desert.

Everything we ordered tasted so good! The meals on the vegan menu were so tasty. Can't wait to go back!

Had a great birthday celebration at Evoo, Service was excellent and the atmosphere is super cool. I like the wine belle feel! Nice place to share some wine and food with friends!

First time visitor, will definitely be back. Great food, value and server.
