My husband and I had dinner here before the Cannucks game. He is intolerant to a few food items and I have an anaphylaxis allergy. They were awesome addressing our dietary needs. Our server was very nice with the right balance of friendliness and attentiveness. The whole service team was great. It was busy but they brought our food quickly and the "pup food" was a good value for what we got. Had the Fable Virgin drink, delicious!! Recommend this place if you want good and affordable food before a sporting event.

Portions were a bit on the small side. And it was very loud for a Sunday morning. Hard to have a conversation. Ideally we tried to get reservations at the Fable kitchen. Not sure if that would have been different but will definitely try again. The brunch itself was delicious.

Decent burger for the $10 Monday special. Be warned though that a side of fries is $7 if you want to add them. They’re good fries though. Very comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Great spot for a group before going to an arena concert.

Nice place with good choices for brunch. Waffles were horribly overpriced and really nothing special. Other choices were much tastier and done better, like the Avocado Toast or the Truckers breakfast special

Service was excellent. Food was average and meal selection was quite limited. It was very noisy hence difficult to have a conversation with friends at our table.

This restaurant is comfy and fun. The food was so-so. My pot stickers were served just warm. The waiter was very pleasant, but forgot to put in my husband's dinner order and never bothered to check on us-so I had eaten long before we finally asked what had happened to my husband's dinner.

Great service, excellent food, great price. All four of us were very happy with our meals. The only downside was noise from a private event downstairs. Fortunately, that didn’t occur until close to our departure.

Food was great but the service was really slow. Took a long time to get drinks or order our food but then they cleared our dishes immediately which felt strange. Then it took forever to get our bill.

Sorry to hear of this. Though it is impossible to know what time you were in, it was super busy this weekend with the Laver Cup at Rogers and Coldplay at BC Place. Explains your erratic service but doesn't excuse it.

Check the menu before you go, it's a bit eclectic. Had 5 items between 3 people, none were wow. None were bad. Ceasar had an odd aftertaste, they use craft brand for the mix, but tastes do differ. Waitress was not the greatest, mislead us on dairy content in some items, made us feel rushed, but the place was empty.

We found the food was good but really there wasn’t enough of it. Came out after a burger and fries still feeling hungry. Really need to up the quantity.

Friendly staff; originally put by a service station but no problem when I asked for a different table. Server was efficient. Pasta was a little too salty but was still tasty. Prices were average.

Worst brunch service I’ve ever experienced. Server brought black coffee and walked away, had to wait until she came back to ask for cream/milk. Didn’t bring our drinks until we asked after them. Saw our food waiting for over 15min before brought to table cold. We’ve had good experiences at other locations but will not return here.

UPDATE We returned here on another busy night and had a much improved experience. Service, food, and timing were all very good, and this second experience was definitely good enough to change my mind. We will be returning again for pre-event dining. We had reservations for dinner for 4, and when I booked my reservation, it was for the Oasis patio. When we got there, we were seated inside in a booth. When I asked the hostess about this, she went to check with one of her coworkers, and came back and told us that there were only tables for 2 on the patio. I should not have been able to make a reservation that was not able to be accomodated. After being seated, it took a bit more time than I would expect before our drink and food orders were taken, but it was busy in there, so not terribly unexpected. Where the service started to be subpar, was the fact that it was about 45 minutes after our drinks were served before we saw our server again, and it took over an hour to get all of our food. One of the people at our table was served their meal 10 minutes before the rest of us, which is not great dining as a group. The food was ok, not terrible, but not great for the price that you pay. My burger was dry, and the amount of cheese on there was barely even noticeable...a small sprinkle of shredded cheese. Everyone else at the table also thought the food was not as good as they would have hoped, but again, just ok. I was really hopeful that this would have been a better experience, and that I would have a new go to before a game or a show, but sadly the experience was very disappointing. We won't be returning.

The lamb entree my husband had was very good, the udon & kimchi bowl I had was OK. It was tasty but I was anticipating more vegetables - only had corn besides the kimchi. The fried chicken on it was very good. We enjoyed the patio seating. We did not realize how big the restaurant was - interesting layout. We will have to come again and try something different.

Quieter early evening and louder as everything is in downtown Vancouver as the evening progresses. Good burger and fries and pint of beer. Not good for vegetarians or vegans. I am flexible and do eat fish in occasion. The vegetarian burger on the menu that I wanted was only on the lunch menu, not the dinner menu.
