Great food and service. They did forget my friends milkshake but it eventually came. I would have liked to have seen some greens served along side the chicken benny. The plate felt a bit sparse and I noticed that my friend who order the salmon benny got salad. Just a suggestion.

They no longer offer the prohibition breakfast, which means you need to order off the menu. Luckily, that's a safe bet.

This place used to be really good, with lines out the door. Not sure whether management changed, or what, but it's just garbage now. We've tried a couple of times and both times the service is awful, and the food equally bad. Given the place was dead quiet on a Sat night over Easter long weekend, its no surprise it was quiet. Restaurants, especially in Vancouver, especially in Mt Pleasant, need to stay on top of their game to survive, unfortunately Fable clearly hasn't.

Our server was awesome! They were friendly, funny, and helpful. Our food came out in a timely manner despite how busy it was. The only critique I have is that the portions seemed to have gotten smaller while the prices have increased :( We had the prohibition meal and the scones at the start and cookies at the end have shrunk by half the size. Our entree (the vegan bowl) also seemed a lot smaller. It was mainly a bed of potatoes with a few leaves for kale, some mushrooms, and a carrot. It was delicious but not very satiating and it was missing the cauliflower advertised. The milkshakes we ordered were satisfactory in size and really good!!

I was quite sad to have rate this low. The server was distracted. There was no wine available that we wanted. We waited over 45 minutes from sitting down to eating. The server cleared three plates but left the last plate on the table until we paid the bill. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend Fable this time around.

Food was good, our server was nice but we were there for the duck pancake and was surprised & disappointed that it was already sold out by 12. We came all the way from Langley :( Maybe the restaurant can look into traffic and be more stocked for next time.

The duck pancake was very good and I would definitely order it again. It was an interesting combination of flavours and textures. The coffee could be better for the price of 3.79 a cup. It tasted weak and insipid. I expect better as I can get an americano for the same or less.

Since the pandemic, the diner experience has slowly degraded but the prices keep creeping up. On the last few occasions the service and food have been lacklustre at best. I think we're going to take a break from Fable Diner for awhile.

Great food for a diner and better than some upper scale sports bar I’ve been too. Price and value is good. Seem to have fewer staffs on a Saturday night and takes a while to get anything. Food took longer than average to come. Restaurant is not dirty but can be cleaner. We’ll come back though.

We arrived early before the weekend brunch crowd and it was a really great, quiet morning at Fable. We both ordered the fried chicken benny's and they were definitely delicious. It's one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants and we definitely will be back.

I wasn't impressed overall. The Ceasar was too spicy with too much hot sauce in it. Lager was flat. Bacon jam benny is disappointing. Chicken salad sandwich was good.

Word of advice: do not get the Cobb salad. It’s $17 and it should be $5 max lol. The trucker breakfast is the way too go when dining here. Lots of value there!

The food, atmosphere, and prices were incredible but the service was very poor, we sat with dirty cups and plates on our table for a while and the waitress walked away twice after only taking my girlfriends food/drink order and not mine. Food was incredible though and much worth it.

I had high expectations from a Dinner that made it on Triple D’s. I had the Rosted Duck pancake I would give it a 3/5. My youngest son had French Toast 4/5. My wife and other son had all day Breakfast 4/5.
