Outstanding service from the minute you walk through the door right up until you leave. Food was outstanding. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The presentation was great as well. Staff was knowledgeable on all the food/wine/desserts. Can’t wait to go back!

My bill was over $400 (four peopke no alcohol) and the flavours were moderately better than my local shawarma house. Unfortunately, not worth the money. Server was distracted, most likely due to having to handle too many customers.

We found this Fairouz Café just walking down the street in Ottawa, easily made a dinner reservation with Open Table. It was an excellent experience for us. The waitstaff were Double-Plus Good.

The old menu was better than the new one. We were really disappointed by the Tawook, which was our favorite in the previous menu. Also, with the price increase, it’s a bit overprice currently.

I had dinner at your café a few weeks ago with a friend, and I loved the Chicken Tawouk so much... I came back with a different person and praised the chicken ... Unfortunately, this time around the chicken was dry instead of tender and juicy. I was disappointed. Did you change the chef? I loved the service. Bridget was efficient, friendly, professional, and informative. There was also a server, who was wonderful. He brought our meals and explained everything perfectly. I loved the ambiance. I loved the Grape leaves and the Muhamarrah. I loved the bread. The Cod was excellent. Having the Harrissa on the side was a great idea. We are not familiar with the bread being charged, but it was delicious. Thank you! Magda

Not my first time, and will surely be back. The food is tasty and plentiful. It can be somewhat busy and loud but we did not feel rushed. Highly recommmend!

We waited almost an hour for our food. It was not hot when it arrived. It was not the server's fault. She apologized for the long wait. I don't know what the problem is. Too few staff? Back-ups in the kitchen? Regardless, I will not be back.

The service was very slow. Was told we could have the table for 2 hours which is always fine with us, but we ended up taking 2 hours just because of how slow the service was. Beef kebab came out cold, and is such a small portion for the $40 they charged for it. Same with the pita bread, such tiny pieces of pita. Most of the food was tasty, but the value and service certainly bring it down.

Excellent for wth Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Room was very cold which detracted form my experience but may have been time of year (fall is tricky!) and fact the AC still on despite cooler outdoor temperatures. We were very pleased with food and recommendations made by staff!

Service was poor on this occasion. There were not enough service staff and waiters. We ended up having to call somebody to serve us. We have dined here many times previously with good service. The food as usual was excellent.

The service was good and friendly. The food was “creative”, tasty and different from prior Lebanese food I ate. The terrasse, in the back of the restaurant is quite large and we enjoy a great summer evening. I would go back anytime!

I wish the service had been better for our meal. It was a real let down. They are probably overworked and short staffed so I try not to be too picky. I just wish we had been able to order some drinks and have something to smoothe out the waiting on the food. We were left hanging quite a bit. The food was awesome. Just perfect.
