    Service was excellent. Having done numerous High Tea experiences at various Fairmont properties the food was underwhelming at Chateau Lake Louise.

    I went for my birthday for a solo high tea while my family were skiing. Service was excellent, the service staff were very friendly. I was seated by the window so I had a beautiful view of Lake Louise. There was a bit of construction equipment around, so it was not as perfect as it could be, but this is understandable. Would definitely recommend.

    The food, service and value are what we would normally expect from hotel at this rate. The only reason why we wouldn't rate this dinning experience as 5 stars was because of the car parking. We had to pay additional $30 for parking on top of food & service at the Fairmont restaurant which we feel it should be inclusive. We don't think we will come back.

    We had a wonderful afternoon of tea and treats. The staff was lovely, the food was delicious and the view was spectacular. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special! We hope to return one day!

    I was so scared trying the afternoon high tea at fairmont CLL because of the bad reviews. I’m glad I still went and had the once in a lifetime moment at Lake Louise. The staff were all so attentive and cheerful. Kevin, you’re the best. I owe you my instagrammable post! Will be forever grateful to you 😘 🥂

    There for afternoon tea. Place was not busy at all but still waited about 15 minutes foe waiter to come to the table. Top marks for presentation, and average at best for food quality. It was a very unique experience but I don't need to do it again.

    We went for afternoon tea. The food was delicious. I have been here for afternoon tea before and the food has improved!! The service could have been a bit more attentive but they were very busy. The view out on to Lake Louise can not be beat.

    Staff was fantastic. The set menu was delicious and even more than me and my daughter could eat. I was surprised that we got only one choice of tea, but mine was good. We arrived on time but did not get a window seat which I was expecting. The parking was in the hotel parking lot with minimal spots, but the fee was $30 or $45 if you want valet parking. I feel like the short time we were there should have been included or waved. I don’t think I would do it again, but it was a fun trip with my daughter.

    Slow service. Inattentive service, not engaged and employees seemed distant. Tea pastries were too sweet. Scones were the highlight. Bubbly Prosecco was great.

    Fairview restaurant provided memorial food, service and views to my parents. They are very happy to spent their 40+ anniversary with Fairview. Thank you, Fairview!! They already plan the next visit :)

    We booked the Fairview Bar and Restaurant for afternoon tea as is was promoted as an exceptional experience. Our experience was significantly less than promoted. The food was tasty, but nothing exquisite. The service left us unimpressed and frustrated. It was as if they didn't care if we were there or not. For what we paid, it was an extreme disappointment.

    I always loved the afternoon tea at Chateau Lake Louise. The food is fantastic and the service varies, but it is never less than very good. The main difference that I saw this time was the ambience and overall experience. For example, there's no place to park any more (you can park at the hotel and pay $30 though, which can be a solution), and you can't access the washrooms without asking for an access card each time. There are many restrictions on where and how to access, as the number of people visiting went up in the last couple of years, and I believe the hotel was not prepared. Overall, the afternoon tea is still delicious, the views are amazing and the service very good. The overall experience though, is not the same as it used to be.

    View Spectacular!! A++. Didnt mind paying top dollar for this grand experience at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, however, service and waiter left ALOT to be desired. I was VERY surprised that such a posh high class restaurant and hotel would allow nose and lip piercings! Not only do I find them terribly unbecoming but of hygienic concern serving & handling food! 1st negative. 2nd were all of Mathew's tatoos! Once again, aghast that such a high end place would allow a server to have his arms, neck covered in tats! 3rd negative: i needed a replacement napkin and he was nowhere to be found. Waited & waited then flagged dwn another attendant even tho not their job. 4th: I needed more hot water for tea...once again Mathew not attentive/available- had to ask the Mgr. Very dissapointed in the service/server. But overall the view outweighed all the negative. Grateful for the gorgeous day was blessed with! Recommend? Well I am adamant they need to be more selective with their staff but for the epic view-Yes.

    Matt Keating was the best server I may ever have had, bar none! Like so many fairmont experiences, the high tea at the Fairview does not disappoint! Astonishing views and scenery, 5 star service, wonderful high tea from the tea itself to the finger foods and baked goods. And the nicest, most attentive service ever! I hope to return again. Best high tea I’ve had in years!

    A fantastic event location to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Malik was quick, attentive, and knowledgeable. Would certainly visit again. Was not cheap, but worth the expense for the experience!

    Was honestly impressed with the quality of the high tea snacks and desserts. View of Lake Louise was obviously amazing and service was warm and genuine too (we were served by a fine gentleman from Manchester). We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there! Would highly recommend.

    We had a window table overlooking beautiful Lake Louise. Service from Matthew was great as was the high tea. We were very happy with the whole experience. Gluten free and no seafood requests were very well catered for. Nobody was disappointed.

    Ridiculous view - mesmerizing and magnificent. Huge windows, tables set apart so conversations were barely audible. Lovely waitstaff - yay to Matt - and food was also perfectly perfect!

    We had such a lovely experience for afternoon tea and it was one of the many highlights of our stay. It was such a lovely way to spend some relaxing quality time after a long hike that morning. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff was so kind and went out of their way to provide us with a window table after one opened up. We had just been seated (we didn’t ask to move, they just wanted to provide us with the best experience). Kevin was our server and not only was he fun and kind, but delivered outstanding service. Thank you again for a wonderful time!

    If you have a dietary restriction, this is probably not the property/restaurant for you. I have my allergies on my OpenTable profile, but the restaurant expressed that they didn’t know since I didn’t re-write it in special instructions. The experience that followed made it clear to me that anyone with a dietary restriction walking-in would not have a positive experience. First I was told the kitchen would double-up on nut free items to replace those with nuts, but our tea would take longer due to my allergies. Totally fine. What arrived as our dessert tier was not a double-up of the published menu items that were nut free. Instead, I received 2 plain cakes (chocolate & carrot) & the complimentary cookies you receive at the Fairmont Banff Springs spa.. this was incredibly disappointing. Everyone around me had ornate desserts, and I felt like an afterthought. The staff did kindly discount the tea, but unfortunately that did not make up for the experience. We paid roughly $200 in the end, and 1/3 tiers was not of that calibre spend/quality wise.
