Food was very good service was not the best even tho I made reservations we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, after that it took over 15 minutes to get our drinks. I was very unhappy with the service but the food was great but will not be dinning in next time.

The waitress was nice, but slow. Overall food was okay, but not great. Brisket sandwich was lacking and fries were dry and hard.

I typically enjoy Famous Dave's and was looking forward to dining there with several family members. The first problem occurred when I ordered a 'Smokin Long Island Tea' which is supposed to be served at our table since it involves pouring the tea into a glass filled with smoke. The waitress brought just the tea itself and when I asked where the smokey glass was, she said it was unavailable. I had hoped she would at least offer a price break, but she did not. I told her I was really wanting the smoke affect (as advertised) and since it was not available, I would just have a regular iced tea instead. 'Miraculously' she returned with the smoke-filled glass and I was happy to enjoy it. The other problem was with the Brisket, which we had to pay extra for. It was very fatty and fairly disgusting to eat.

Our family used to love this place, but after our last visit we won't be going back. The restaurant was not very busy, with plenty of tables everywhere, yet it took 90minutes for our food to arrive. I can forgive a long wait if the food is worth it, which it normally is. This time however, the food was awful. My ribs were dry as shoe leather, the burgers were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside and my son's 3 chicken tenders were roughly the size of a shrimp. Throughout it all our server was nowhere to be found. The one time I managed to get his attention, he looked me in the eye, turned on his heel and walked away.

We got to the restaurant and they told us they would not honor the reservation because they said they do not take reservations. This was for a Father’s Day meal and was extremely frustrating. They would also not give me the number to their corporate office. They also had a line of takeout customers shouting.

Great restaurant and a great value for the money; however, one issue: we were informed by the staff that this location DOES NOT accept reservations. A manager allowed this exception as they have not yet informed Open Table, but I do not expect this to be an accepted practice in the future. Caveat emptor.

Tried requesting a table through the website only to be told they were not taking reservations because it was Father’s Day weekend. It would be nice if they could disable this system when they are not taking reservations as we drove an hour to eat there. We joined the waitlist and waited. My husband went up to ask if there was a limited menu since they also said they were doing limited seating. The hostess said no it was a regular menu and then added they were out of ribs. This was never said when we walked in. Pretty disappointing experience. We left.
