   I was a little surprised that they did not give seating preference to OpenTable reservations and allowed walkins that had been waiting to be seated before our reservation. Food was good and fast enough. The server did a nice job. Our only complaint was about the hostess seating others before our OpenTable reservation.

   Using OpenTable to reserve a spot didn't improve our wait time at all. We waited 25 minutes just like everyone else who walked in and put their name on the list.

   No one was at the front desk when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before we even saw a worker up front. The restaurant wasn’t all that busy and they seemed to have plenty of staff. Once we were seated we waited for another 20 minutes till our waiter came. People who were seated after us were served before we were. Our food arrived late and was cold. We also didn’t realize how expensive everything was. Overall horrible experience and will never go back.

   Horrible service, reserved a table online and arrived 4 minutes late and got penalized with almost 40 min wait probably more but we left after 35 min

    Food was poor quality. It was cold when they brought it out and the sides were baked over by a heat lamp. I could not eat it.

    Just FYI I was told upon arrival that the this isn’t a true “reservation”, rather it was a “you move to the top of a wait list”. We arrived right at our reservation time and had to wait nearly a half hour to be seated.

    Got seated in the bar area. The server has way to much to do and was also the bar tender. Food was cold when it arrived and the brisket very dry. Took almost 30 minutes after I finished my dinner to get the check. Very disappointed in the whole dinning experience. Sorry Daves, but won’t be back anytime soon.

    Okay bbq. Not as fun as the one that was in Midvale before it was torn down. Food was okay and portions seem smaller.

    I made reservations and once I arrived they told me that I would not be sitting down for another hour and a half because there were other 30 reservations ahead of me. What’s the point of reservations?

    I had made reservations for 4 people, for 5:00 pm. We got there at 5:00. We got Iced tea from the seaters. we waited for 35 mins. others came in after us, got waited on and food served, 3 tables! So i was very very disappointed with, what used to be my favorite BBQ place! I will think very hard before I come back

    Waitress was snotty and definitely not customer focused. Multiple issues had to ask for silverware 3 times, one persons ribs came out and they were all fat, instead of just fixing the issue walked away and sent another server over. That person took care of the problem fast. Messed up the checks, had requested two checks and she took 2 orders but everything ended up 9n one check, put her fingers in one persons food as she was removing another item that was wrong. Two sassy salads came out with no meat and she Just blamed the kitchen and left. No water or drink refills, etc. I would give some slack if it had been busy, but it wasn’t. The one bright spot was the manager. When we finally asked for him , he fixed everything quickly. Saw him doing the same at 3 other tables in our section. He was very personable and running to keep the food rolling. I get staffing is difficult right now and everyone is stressed, but there is no excuse for this type of service. If the waitress had at least been hospitable, the night would have been much better. Instead we spent our whole dinner looking for food. We eat at famous Dave’s often while traveling and usually it’s a very good experience.

    Great service! They attended to us pretty quickly. They also got out the food to our table in a short amount of time. Everyone there was super nice! I love coming to famous Dave’s super delicious food.

    We had a great time at Famous Dave’s celebrating a friend’s birthday. The service was excellent, wait time was minimal and our server even brought the birthday girl a birthday treat!

    Food and customer service is outstanding. Took my wife there for Valentines day (had reservations of couse) and we were both really impressed with the customer service, food quality and cleanliness.

    We used Open Table to make a reservation for 6 of us, when we got there we were informed that even though we reserved a table it was first come first served and the wait would be a 1/2 hour which turned into 50 minutes. Food was out quicky and was very good. I hope our server was new because he didn't know anything about the menu and we had to ask for water and condiments twice.

    I live in Colorado, and was here visiting my Mother. We went to the West Jordan Famous Dave's to celebrate a late Mother's day, with my Mom and all her daughters. We called ahead for a reservation for 8. When we arrived they had set up a table in the middle of the isle, 10 feet from the door. It was not welcoming or private. we asked to be moved into the room on the other side of the wall, and they would not move us, that room was empty, and available for seating but we had to sit out in the entry way isle. The corn was over cooked, the ribs were burnt, and the salmon plank was the smallest portion I've ever seen - literally it was a piece about 4x4". In Denver, the salmon is a generous whole slice of salmon, 8x4." I ordered decaf coffee which was the worst coffee I think I've ever had, it was bitter and it actually stank. I couldn't drink it. The waiter took care of our basic needs, but that was all. He never came back to see if anyone needed additional drinks or refills,. The trash can lid arrived and was placed on one end of the table so the other half of the table had to get out of our eats to get food. In Denver, the platter would have been splitt, the extraneous junk and advertisements on the table taken away to make room, and the plates placed in front of each person instead of piled on one end of the table. I was astonished at the difference between my experience at the Famous Dave's versus the one we go to regularly in Denver (Brighton Colorado, Larkridge location). Shame on you. We won't be back.

    Our waitress Rhiannon was training we never would've guessed. She was amazing! The food was great, we made a reservation online and when we got there we were sat right away. The staff was friendly, will definitely be eating here again.
