   This was our first dinner at Farm & Fire. The restaurant has a modern, open feel to it and it was a nice place to hang out. We shared several dishes and were happy with all of them. Good service too. We'd definitely recommend this place.

   Food was okay. Charred greens were amazing! Service was sub-par. We made reservations well in advance but they sat us next to a huge rowdy table of about 14 hard-drinkers even though other 2-tops were available the entire time we were dining and they forgot to assign a server to our table so we waited for ages before we had to ask if someone was assigned to our table. They said they forgot to communicate to any servers that our table was in their zone. Food was okay, but underwhelming and a bit overpriced for what it was.

   I’ve dined here on multiple occasions, and every time the food and service is stellar. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. I also appreciate the clearly labelled menu to reflect various dietary needs. As someone with celiac, it’s nice to have somewhere to eat out that is safe and won’t make me sick.

    Our waiter was absolutely terrible. He left the table for very long periods of time. We had to wait far too long for drinks, water replenishes, plates cleared etc. We were never asked about how things were. We had to signal him for drinks and we sat at the table for almost 20 mins with dirty plates. The food was good. Too expensive but that’s Banff.

    The food and service were good, but we were disappointed in our reception. We had made a reservation more than a week before only to find ourselves seated at the smallest table for two in the restaurant and in the middle of the traffic pattern. We asked for a different table but were told they were too crowded to seat us at a larger table. Perhaps I could have understood this had the next couple not been seated at a four-top out of the melee of servers. The food was good; we ordered the roasted chicken which had been getting great reviews. We did not find it especially notable.

    Horrible place. Food was flavorless, roasted chicken was dry, and carrots were hardly cooked. Very overpriced for a less than luxurious experience. “Outside patio” is actually part of the adjacent hotels driveway right on the Main Street. Save your money, go to Bluebird or Saltlik

    For me the Best in Banff ! I love the Cluckin dish, however they changed it, replaced the waffle with potatoes. I asked if it is possible to have it with the waffle ! So they made it happen and I was grateful and happy as I came all the way from Edmonton craving this dish ! I wish to have the option of having cluckin with waffle or potatoes !     Very modern looking and comfortable restaurant with good service. However, food was underwhelming and quite frankly, disappointing, especially considering the price. I don’t mind paying the price as long as the food quality matches the price. We went for brunch on a Saturday morning. I ordered the eggs Benny and requested eggs be poached medium. The eggs were served runny. The ham could be been fried a little longer. The ham actually looked and tasted like bologna. I only had a couple bites. My friends ordered well done scrambled eggs and both of their orders had under cooked and somewhat runny eggs. Their chicken sausage was terrible. I tried a bite and had to spit it out. It tasted like an undercooked chicken wiener with a repulsive aftertaste. The eggs were sent back and the next order of scrambled eggs was acceptable. The server was good. Sadly, I will not return. It’s too bad, because the service and ambiance was nice. Overall the the food being served at the restaurants in Banff is overpriced and underwhelming. Much better restaurants and food in Canmore. Banff needs to seriously step up their game in the food being served. Farm and fire has great potential to be an amazing restaurant to dine. Perhaps they need to hire better trained cooks if they want repeat customers.

    Holy Cow! That is the name of the MOST AH mazing brunch menu at farm & fire. The pickled fennel was over the top delicious. Each of us (party of 3) got poached eggs with different sides. ALL 6 eggs were perfectly poached. My avocado on sourdough toast was heavenly and the purple potatoes an incredible detail. Brandon, the server was attentive without being overbearing and kept the coffee and oat milk coming. My friend was concerned about the sugar content in the oat milk and he brought her the box to read, WOW! The gift shop was full of interesting books, patches, and all clothing was buy one, get one 50% off. I'll hope to stay in the hotel, it looked so nice.

    Fantastic. Great food, especially the lox bowl. We felt they had reasonable prices overall. Most importantly for us - we have four kids and they accommodated us so well every time we went there for breakfast. We had such a good experience that in our three day, 4 night trip to banff, where we stayed at the Rimrock, we ate breakfast here three out of three days. We will be back!!

    Our charming server Antony provided epicurean food and alcohol advice. The composition of the dishes was French, with the delicate blending of spices and fats; while capturing the best of local offerings—apple, blueberry, pork belly, duck fat, corn cakes, in innovative combinations.     We had dinner at Farm & Fire recently and this is an interesting restaurant to say the least. It is located on the first floor of a hotel and it has a Scandinavian feel to it. The food was pretty good. We had the Fungi pizza, Bison & Bannock and an appetizer that featured parsnips and carrots. The pizza and appetizer were very good. The Bison & Bannock was a let down. The Bannock reminded me of a Krispy Kreme donut without the glaze and the bison used in the dish was dry and tasteless.

    We have eaten there before and enjoyed it . Concept remains the same, family style dining but the food quality is not as good . Food is pretty basic , flavours are not complex.
