Farm & Fire is a great restaurant and if you are vegetarian, its fabulous. My wife is a vegetarian, so my choice of restaurant is often determined by the variety of meal options for her. Farm & Fire did not disappoint. The food presentation and taste was fabulous, you have to have the Mushroom Loaf! I ordered the 20oz Angus steak for my main...it's a lot of meat! (Lunch tomorrow!) We sat on the patio which was lovely, so the noise level was quite low. We will definitely be back!

The best restaurant in Banff in my opinion. The food is absolutely delicious. Prices are fair for the quality and size of some of the dishes. The service has been top notch every time I visited. Can’t wait to be back.

It’s all relative, really. With inflation reaching menus, everything seems expensive these days. With that noted, the food was good as was the service and it was good value for the money overall. The exec chef also came around to everyone to check on their meals which was a nice touch. Best thing was the clear reference on the menu to things being nut free or not. An important feature for this family with a child with allergies!

Ordered the 20OZ Smoked Certified Angus Beef Ribeye and 3 Bone Pork Chop along with Thousand Layer Duck Fat Potato. The Ribeye was a good cut of meat but completely wrecked by the vinegar and sour taste of the sauce they put on it; their overcomplication of the dish made the meat taste spoiled due to the excessive sourness. 3 Bone Pork Chops were fine although 2/3 pieces were oversalted into oblivion. The restructured potatos tasted like lays chips and were quite greasy. Waitress was nice but did not see her much due to it being quite busy. The dining tables are very small and annoying throughout the meal due to having no room even for the dishes served. Overall this whole visit was a dissapointment and gave us a poor impression of what a highly rated restaurant in Banff is.

This restaurant is way better than I expect a small hotel restaurant to be. The food is absolutely first rate and aims really high with locally sourced ingredients. The menu is also very sensitive to dietary needs and is clearly marked with gluten, dairy and nut-free options etc for those who need them.

I loved this restaurant and would highly recommend. The margherita pizza was excellent. The sauce is what made it special. I am not sure what it is made of but definitely amazing. It is not a strong marinara. The cauliflower was also exceptional. I would try to come back while I am here in Banff.

Very pleasant suprise to our amazing stay in Banff. Within walking distance to our hotel we discovered this excellent restaurant and ended up eating dinner there 2 times. Simply put fantastic drinks, food and service at affordable prices. The pork chops were the best I’ve had in my life and I’ve lived a long life. The Smokey old fashioned was a treat.

The food we ordered was first-rate, especially the lion's mane mushroom and the yams. What was not satisfactory was how LOUD the restaurant's music is. Even on the patio (which is comfortable and pleasant) that music was too loud. When I order a first-class dinner at a pricey restaurant, I don't want up-tempo rock music pounding in my ears the whole time I'm trying to enjoy my meal. The music track would have been fine for a club where dancing is the main attraction. But I would not return to this restaurant, despite its high-quality food and thoughtful service, unless I knew that I wouldn't have to endure the very unpalatable music.

Delicious pizza. Aaron our waiter was excellent. But the bar closes way to early for a resort town. 9 o’clock, give me a break especially when they take dinner reservations til 8:30pm. And they don’t know how to make cocktails nor did the bartender know much about them. A Manhattan served in a whiskey glass with ice and maraschino cherry, give me a break. They also didn’t know what a Vesper was. 007…hello. Canada you were once part of the Commonwealth.

Awful standard of service. Ignored for a while then slow to bring food. Sullen waiter who spilt our wine when he poured it. Then he did nothing, stood there and looked at us while WE mopped it up. Expensive for what it is. Wouldn't eat here again
