Unfortunately, a miss. The service was a little awkward, the food was ok, but overall the food and especially the wine was expensive. For the price I was expecting some part of the experience to be special but it was a miss for me.

A little gem of a place. The menu is small but very well curated and flavors are well balanced. Chef Alden Ong always works his magic in composing each dish. We'll certainly be returning again and again.

We had dinner there. Ordered appetizer and main dish. Cauliflower was very tasty but maun dish was not too our taste.

First time eating at bib gourmand award farmer’s apprentice. Overall, it was good experience. I enjoyed the food. Service was good but hoping one of the server can be more enthusiastic and sociable. The other server is good able to communicate. I would say that I would try again with my family member next time. It’s hard to say on this first visit.

Four of us who dine together often at different restaurants around the PNW went for the BBQ lunch. We were told the idea was to order and eat family style, which we did… ordered everything on the menu.. but the portions of the mains were canapé sized. Four canapés on a plate. The food itself was delicious, just expected more for a main dish. I’d maybe understand the portions on a set coursed meal, however not a family style BBQ lunch. The smoked hotdog was divine and there was a lovely wine selection!

We decided to go here because of the new 2023 Michelin star. We could see why it was given the rating. For a quite intimate place, they do it right. Unfortunately it was the last day of their lunch menu, fortunately this means we will have to go again. But the BBQ menu was awesome loved each of what we had. It is the best bbq that we have ever had, we just came back from Austin and we did not have beef as tender as was served here. The lamb was so flavourful as well. We loved it here!

Best meal out that we have had in a very long time. The food is an inventive take on all of the favorite foods you know and love. Look at the menu online and know that it all tastes as good as it sounds. The chef team and dining team are well versed in what they are serving and have given the experience they offer a lot of thought. The space is small and is designed well and provides a comfortable, "take a deep breadth and enjoy your night" feeling. We loved it.

Superb meal with excellent service. A bit hard to hear the food descriptions from the severs so just had to ask after for another explanation of what we just ate.

I've been coming to Farmer's Apprentice for a few years now. It's a great place for special occasions or a casual dinner. The food is always creative and well executed. Their menu is very seasonal, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We always order the family style tasting menu and they've never disappointed. They're happy to accomodate various dietary restrictions and allergies while still delivering a great culinary experience The atmosphere is homey and casual with a lot of cool art and books, as well as ingredients in various stages of aging and drying. Service is always kind, prompt and attentive. Each person that works there is a joy to talk to. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic restaurant, great attention to detail and the most interesting and innovative use of local and fresh seasonal ingredients. Our go to place for any special occasions, and the next door Grapes and Soda has excellent cocktails.

It was delightful, start to finish: starters, drinks, main meal, and dessert. Exactly what you would expect from a Michelin recommended restaurant. The service was wonderful. The staff were pleasant, and the food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Where to begin? Food is delicious, no question. But minus drinks, $140 for NO MEAT and 7 dishes, one being one slice of bread. If the servings are small, let your table know so they have enough food and don't have to keep ordering more. Of course we all left hungry. And the service was SOO slow and it wasn’t busy. I just think it all adds up to something I won’t do again or recommend. I guess their rent is cheap or they might have closed already. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Probably one of the best meals we've ever had! Each and every dish was exquisite, we couldn't decide which one we liked best. The portions were such that we could enjoy the food without eating way too much. We'll be back again.
