   Atmosphere at FO is great, wonderful space, staff, atmosphere, service and the food was great. All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience. Our server Anthony was extremely professional with my guests and when speaking with me, he was also training someone, a few of my guests mentioned he looked angry or had an attitude, I'm sure he just takes his job seriously and was focused on proper training. Though, it's always nice to see staff as happy as their guests. Take care!

   Honestly I love this place. Food was great. I have been around 6 times but i was super disappointed in out server. She just had an air about her that wasn’t warm or friendly at all. Very robotic. Didn’t introduce herself. I have always had amazing service so this was a bummer. I took my son for his 32 bday and it was his first time. He picked up on server’s mean girl energy without me saying anything. Oh well, wont stop me from coming back but i would be happier without her being my server.

   This is a fun restaurant - the food is very good, but not inexpensive. The servers are ok - it took a while to get drinks each time but overall a great restaurant for special events or expense budgets!

    Love fat ox and the vibe. Service always great I will say though that pasta dishes not what they used to be seems like always lukewarm the garganelle pasta seems overcooked in general I think all the pasta dishes need to be re freshed

    Even though we've lived in Scottsdale for many years, this was our first visit to Fat Ox. My only regret is that we haven't dined here sooner. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and our server, Miriam, made excellent recommendations while delivering superior service. We will be back...SOON!!

    We were able to sit inside and the vibe is modern and relaxed. Bar area looked cute. Our server was wonderful and suggested we share something to start and get our own entrees, really a great suggestion! The focaccia bread with whipped ricotta and a spicy butter were incredible! We shared the OX Caesar salad which was good but a little bland. We also shared the Tajarin Cacio e Pepe which was absolutely amazing! I had the Branzino which was delicious and my husband had the scallops which he liked but thought it was skimpy. The gelato was incredible! The restaurant is pricey but we would go back for the food and ambiance

    Our server was fabulous. She took her time to explain how to order for our party of four. She was spot on with the amount of food we would need. For four of us, we had 3 servings of Ceasar salad- delicious with authentic dressing and an order of the meatballs, plus 1. They were moist and flavorful without being mushy. I loved the Gigli pasta- simple but flavorful, and the Rosso Creste de Gallo was also good. I wasn't sure I'd like duck sausage, but it was not overpowering and added a nice depth to the dish. For mains, two of us had salmon which was cooked perfectly- moist, medium rare on the inside. The sauce was very good with the salmon and I wished there was more. The only miss of the entire night was the grilled treviso- I couldn't even cut through it with a knife. Not sure if they were low on stock and this was the tough ends, or ?? We didn't bother mentioning it because we were getting full as it was. The filet was also juicy and flavorful. They'll cut it for you so you don't need to work at all. The other meal was the swordfish. The bed of vegetables was a nice touch as I always think swordfish can be a bit bland, but my SO liked it. Did I mention how great our server was? We had two bottles of wine and she kept our glasses filled without any prompting. When there was a little snafu with the bar for another two glasses, she quickly corrected it without even asking. And to end a great evening, the cappuccino reminded me of how they taste in Prague. Rich and great crema. We will be back.

    Great food and Brittany our server was excellent. The most ridiculous think I have seen in an upscale restaurant was the $3 up charge for a “large ice cube”. A large cube is standard in most bars so an up charge was crazy. I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard. This was on top of charging me 25 for my Manhattan. Totally class less for a Fox company restaurant. I wonder if his other restaurants are doing this? A cheesy way to make an extra buck

    Our server Jonah was great and ensured that we were always taken care of. We were a larger group of 7 and he was patient in explaining to us the menu and how things worked. The food presentation was fantastic and everything was delicious - no complaints.

    We had the most amazing waitress Maryam. She was sweet and attentive. The food was on point and delicious! Everything was phenomenal.     Absolutely loved this place! We started with smashed burrata and grilled shrimp and then had the gnocchi with beef cheek, gigli in tomato sauce, roast chicken. All fantastic! Terrific service, cool ambience. This is a must visit if you are in Scottsdale - we will be back.

    Everything was great except for one thing. Our whole dinner was to celebrate my fiancés birthday. I did make the reservation with that note and was greeted by the host telling her happy birthday. After that, she never got told that again. Besides that issue, everything was excellent!

    Loud Resaurant and food was hit and miss. Beef tartar dis not have any flavor but waygu beef cheek gnocchi was amazing. Branzino and salmon amazing. Too much food for 3 people. Do not have to order as much as they recommend. One app and one main is plenty. Very expensive.

    We had just heard from a friend about how great the food was at the Fat Ox. It did not disappoint! The first couple of courses we shared among the 3 of us. The Cesaer salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned and topped with capers fried in duck fat. Delicious. Then a pasta in mushroom and wine sauce. And the main entree for us was Brasino whole fish deboned, and another excellent choice was scallops. Service was perfect with just the right amount of attention, service, and allowing us sufficient time to visit. Great meal!

    Was a bit frustrating they sat our friends inside and never asked if they preferred inside or out when I specifically asked for a table on the patio. When we arrived, I asked why and they said our friends wanted inside table. That was not true- they were never asked. When I asked if they still had outside they told us we had to wait an additional 15 min. When we decided to just stay inside where our friends were already seated, we realized that the hostess was NOT telling the truth. they never asked our friends if they preferred inside or out. It was really not right... considering I had taken the time to book the patio. They knew they had NOT asked them but we didn't find that out till we sat down... was not handled well and find that really wrong. Just be honest right? they actually didnt tell the truth and just gave our table to someone else... quickly... but would have really preferred to sit outside as we had planned to do. The hostesses were whispering back and forth and knew they were not being honest with us. Not right at all. Very disappointing when we took time to plan ahead and love the patio there.
